hi, I have a 95 3000gt base model. I'm looking to swap my climate control with this one you have. is that what you did in this video? sorry I'm not a big car guy but would like to fix mine up so I'm looking to see if it's possible. that way I can get one and have someone install it . thanks.
+Ari Arnaldo Hi yes, I swapped one from a 92 SL (VR4s or TTs have this one, also 91-93 RT / SL 94+ SL and RT didn't get this setup), you need the 3 motors with clips and brackets, coolant temp with clip, inlet temp sensor, photo sensor, interior temp sensor (headliner), computer, transistor, dcc display also you need to cut the original harness and then identify all the cables (you will end with lots of free cable lol).
+Alberto Alberto Alb thank you for the quick reply. I told my friend about it and he asked if you tried to do a direct swap or did you just want to upgrade all of that? because he said some computers can be reprogrammed. hope you don't mind me asking but around how much does something like that cost? I was looking at some and just the climate control is between 100-200 dollars. kinda wanna get an idea to save up. thanks.
+Ari Arnaldo It was a direct swap except for the electrical part (most important hehe you need to compare the service manual diagrams) the Manual DCC doesn't have any motors or sensors (just one Compressor computer and a resistor), the auto climate computer doesn't have that option, the only thing that you can change is the F/Celsius display by soldering two pins, if you search for the individual DCC parts it will cost you a lot, I got the full conversion from a junkyard for about 50 dlls, and I mean FULL everything needed plus lots of extra bolts and cables.
+Alberto Alberto Alb wow not bad. I'll start looking into it. hopefully I get lucky and not spend so much. thank you anyways, I really appreciate your help. Hopefully I get this done soon.
+Rocket Grunt I got the wiring from the Service manual (Vol 2), then identified all the modifications need to swap the DCC, you need a donor harness and cut/patch some wires in your non DCC harness, kinda hard to give you an exact answer or guide since every car/harness generation have some wiring colors and schematic.
+tokyotopp I used the factory service manual (vol 2), those are free you can get them from 3sx or ninja performance (pdf files), you need to identify all the common wiris and modifications need to match the car harness.
@@res3571 Hi Alberto, so I have a base 95 and I wanted ot make sure I understood correctly. If I get a digigital climate module I can wire it to the base model with a donor harness without having to change the ecu?
Nice work. 👍🏽👍🏽

how did you wire it

How did you do this? Did you have wiring guide?
