Every video from this author about sleep proves me that having a good quality sleep is the cure to almost all my problems! 😅
Hope to fix it someday, recently, this year in particular, I can't sleep without the proper medication.

20+ years, and I've never been able to solve my sleep issues. Never. No matter how hard I study, try something new, or attempt new habits... I'm simply screwed, lol! 😂🤣😂

I’m a narcoleptic. I used to think that my daytime naps were enough to keep me going throughout the day so I would sleep like 4 - 6 hours a night. For a while it was fine but it completely shifted my diet and I got so addicted to sugar and was constantly filling myself up with high calorie foods. It was almost uncontrollable, especially after my naps. I would literally run to the kitchen and go straight to the jar of chocolate biscuits.
Videos like this are so interesting and helps me understand my body better. Now I don’t have to attack myself every time I get hit with the urge to eat packets of processed food. I am slowly shifting to a more fibre dense diet and have been trying to take out all processed foods. And ohhhh my lord it is so difficult but my mood swings don’t happen as often, I have less sugar crashes and my skin has cleared up.
Thank you so much for easy to follow videos like this! It’s helped me become healthier and happier :)))

The more I learn from Dr. Walker, the more I'm convinced that sleep is therapy for the brain.
It's so easy to tell myself "I don't need THAT much sleep. I'll be more productive if I have more hours in the day." But that is almost always a mistake. I think we underestimate the power and efficiency of a well-rested brain.
We can do amazing things in incredibly short amounts of time if we just get enough sleep!

Because when you eat food your body uses magnesium to manage the increased glucose levels. Magnesium is needed for sleep. There's *less magnesium* in food from *ANY developed country* and soft drinks have high levels of phosphoric acid which *prevents the absorption of magnesium.* Humans start absorbing fewer nutrients after they're 35 years old.

Odd, but... that's the Universe's proverbial roll of the dice. Some are meant to fail and remain invisible.

According to this video, a lack of sleep will increase your appetite. For your information, I usually sleep at 10 or 11 pm, but since the first day of class, I have never been able to sleep at that time because the deadlines for my assignments are too close and I must do the assignment before I get to sleep. It needs a lot of time to do it. I particularly feel insomnia, then I always want to eat or drink something because I always feel hungry and I can't control it. So, what can we learn from this video? Well, we can do our assignments though, but don't forget to get some sleep, because if you have a bad quantity of sleep, it will impact your wellness in the future

All he does is giving us recommendations and telling us what can (maybe, someday, never) happen with us if we don't get enough sleep. It is only our decision to listen to him or not. Yes, he is not going deep into scientific explanations of all this sleep mechanisms, but his videos are like from 1:40 to 6 minutes long. It's like short presentation, so why should you be so scared of it?

This guy keeps omitting the necessary facts behind his research. People with depression or insomnia are not predisposed to be overweight. The fact that he singles out sleep as the only factor in the hunger and full signals is ridiculous. Obviously sleep well and the chemical balance will be optimal. But for those who are already out of balance are not out of hope. Multiple factors play into this including the thyroid and adrenaline systems, gut bacteria, brain chemistry, vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Etc etc etc. The only thing this researcher proves it what he has determined is correct. By excluding and precluding any factor he doesn't feel relevant. If you continue to promote him I will unsub, as should anyone with half a brain.

I sometimes (rarely) grab some fast food... but even that seems to have absolutely no effect on me.
I drink a lot of water, and sometimes mix it with 1/8 natural, various 100% juices.
