Do you have a drawing of how he did the pump mounting? Is that angle iron with a t-bar welded to the top, and then the pump is mounted on top the t-bar?
@@1lucasvan1 we no longer have the drawings. This is a discontinued model that we used to build prior to our poly chain series that runs with a different pulley system altogether.
Hi, thanks for vid! I put on new pulley wheels sort of look like that, and new 10 gpm pump, replaced 8, on honda 690, I tightened up belts not quite that tight, and it won't turn over, it tries too, motor makes funny noise and barely turns, seems like my 2 groove belts are too tight? I was gonna go loosen em now, but your vid those belts look very tight, hmm,
I love your simple and solid setup. Any chance you could fabricate a belt drive system to use a 540 rpm PTO to drive a pump that needs 1250 rpm? I suppose the large pulley would need to be on the drive side and smaller pulley on the pump at about a 2.3:1 ratio. Great video!
We don't build these frames anymore. This unit is 5000 PSI 5.5 GPM for the oil and gas industry. They generally like higher pressure less water run off.
after all my internet searching for a solution to configure a pump and a motor, this is the most ingenius method i've seen
Fred has come with many mouse traps to make efficient belt driven systems in his 40 years doing this.

Fred like always great description on how to operate.

We aren't doing any custom work currently unfortunately
@@TXcommercialwash is my thinking right about the drive ratios? Ive got 31 HP at the PTO to drive a substantial pump.
@@gwolf7716 I wish I could give a better answer on a Friday night 😂
I need to make a video on pulley ratios and how they work.
@@TXcommercialwash that would be great, sir. Your workmanship is outstanding!
Marco, how much twisting his arm did you have to do, to get your dad to do that :) Nice video we need more ..
None. He wanted to make the video. This is the first time he ever came up with the idea of "We need to make a video to show everyone this!" 😂
@@TXcommercialwash LOVE it ...
And the mic drops!
Do you make the mounts custom or can be purchased separately? What would a setup like this cost roughly? Is it 10GPM at 3500 psi? Thanks
