I have the same watch :) The 1st battery lasted for 11 years straight and is now working on a 2nd one. The watch itself is about 16 years old :) These Citizen movements are indeed bullet proof.

Yes, in CASIO watches batteries last longer than rated.

According MIYOTA the battery should be ok for 10 years, but my experience shows they last longer. So do not worry about it for the next decade.
