      My foldable phone was the Fold 3... had it for 6 months than traded it in for the S22 Ultra.
      I loved the phone but hated the outer display. It was way too small to use, especially for typing/texting. And there were many times where I didn't want to unfold the phone to send a quick reply to someone but was forced to.
      When Samsung decides to make the outer display look mote like a traditional phone, than I will go back to it

    • @PSYCHOV3N0M
      @PSYCHOV3N0M ปีที่แล้ว

      "plus it's more usable"
      No it isn't. 😂😂😂
      ALL current non-clamshell foldable phones that are available to buy STILL have garbage internal aspect ratios. 😂😂😂
      My S22 Ultra can literally see more content during web browsing, gaming, and watching 16:9 or 21:9 movies and TV shows vs the internal display of any non-clamshell foldable phone.

    I think this is a better form factor than the Z Fold because when it's closed it's wider, and it's so compact when closed. So this kinda gives you the best of both worlds (You know, a small phone you can actually use one handed and a big screen once you unfold it!)

    Although I'd like to have a day or two using it before taking the plunge. I bet there are use cases

      @TOM you know about App compatibility and optimisation right? The Chinese version of a ROM is specifically optimise for the china-only games and apps, not the global ones. You can't expect a China only device to do the same like Z fold 3 and 4.
      Also, the games and other social media are specifically made for the 16:9 and similar ratio. Find N and N2 have an option in which you can size the apps to open in a specific ratio(even full screen) so that's a manageable thing .
      Also Fold 3 and 4 are closer to the 16:9 ratio, that's why you can't see the black bars. Make it a bit shorter and you will get a good amount of black bars.

    • @dragonforcegaming7555
      @dragonforcegaming7555 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They want to sell it in China only because they don't want to face a loss. In China there's a good demand for foldable phones. You won't find that in the global market. If people start to buy Foldables then only they will launch it along with the Vivo X fold. BBK brands are specifically known to be a bit like Apple, they won't be entering a specific product in the market unless there's a demand for it. And in the current state, there's very less demand for Foldables and huge demand for flagships, upper midrangers and other phones. They will profit more by not launching their foldable globally than launching it.

    Because the ratio here is better and the hinge is much better and that annoying highway in the middle of the screen here is almost invisible unlike the zfail 4

    Here the chipset is working the same as normal phones no underclocking at all so games wanna work at highest fps

      Phones are getting taller and taller for absolutely no real reason. 18-20:9 aspect ratios are quite honestly unnecessary and serves no real purpose compared to the old 16:9
      Honestly I'd be fine with either 16:9 or whatever the aspect ratio Find N2 cover display is using over the current 18:9 and 20:9 aspect ratios.

    I have a find x2 pro and i am so happy, so I wanted to stay with oppo. The problem is that here in Europe you can only have the N2 from China market, with no warranty. After I spend more than 1k euros .... What if the one they send you is defective or what if something happens? I guess I'll have to go with the Samsung Z4 fold (with a 25W charge) , unfortunately...

    I'm a huge fan for wanting a android flip phone. But these current screen folding phones aren't durable enough as these folding phones are known for crease cracking after folding and unfolding several times then suffer from black lines and cracked screens.
    What I really really want so badly.
    Is just bring back the old style flip phones we use to have that are strong and durable and can be thrown around like a brick.
    But what I want is a true android flip phone that looks like the old flip phones from back in the day. Put in a high end rear camera, with a touch screen for the flip phone to be able to use apps that need a touch screen. Flip phone that has full android os to be able to install all android apps with minimum 128gb memory 6gb ram. Large enough battery to last an entire heavy use day. Be build ragged to be able to be thrown around and have a rubbery feel like sonim xp3 flip phones.
    And be priced for around $300-400 Canadian dollar. This is the type of phone I really really want, but no one builds these.
    We only have either smartphones or a dumb flip phone, or flip phone with crappy Kai OS with crappy cameras.
    Let's bring back normal flip phones like the good ol' days, but build them with full android OS with full android support, high end cameras and touch screen with the normal keypad bottom of the phone like a regular flip phone.

    1. Water resistance
    2.wireless charging
    3. Sold in europe
    I will finally upgrade from my Pixel 6 Pro to a worthy foldable and get into that segment I've been eyeing at for so long!

    Damn, if Samsung can match the flatness of that hinge I will switch back to the fold.
    This looks great, if only the interior screen wasn't borderline useless with that awful display ratio.
    I stand by the fact that the z fold has the better screen tradeoff. Since you can't have both be great, I feel the fold is the way to go, thinner screens are less optimal for watching video, but are ideal for most 3d gaming, and are ideal fro scrolling through the internet as you get far more lines of content. And the interior screen you still want it to be as close to 16:9 as you can get to maximize general content.
    But for say reading Manga or watching older 4:3 content, the folds inner screen is just about perfect.
