Ah, the hype got to them. Dang, that’s really unfortunate cause I feel like Longlegs is not that bad on its own but they did overhype the hell out of it; I can’t even lie. It’s definitely not the scariest movie ever and the third act was a bit underwhelming. But the visuals were so creepy. Osgood, James, and Stephan has me very excited for this
From what I heard, this is supposed to a dark comedy rather than trying to be a full on horror movie like long legs, so I’ll probably see it just to see how he handles that genre
If memory serves, it was one of the scariest King short stories I've read, but it was exactly that, a short story, so I'm not sure how they're going to flesh it out into a 2 hour movie.
It's a good short story, but it could be told in a tight 8 minutes, or a loose 30. I have no idea where they'll pull feature length from. Also, that bit with kicking out dates that don't know the 7th Heaven theme was the "Yes, and" equivalent of wrestling your friend and then grabbing a folding chair out of nowhere! :)
A major fuck no 😂 😂… I can’t speak on Longlegs. Haven’t seen the movie yet but they had me at a Stephen King story produced by James Wan and it looks creepy and fucked up as hell. So my interest in this is morbidly piqued lol
11:20 FINALLY!!! A small review of why they didn’t like the movie Long legs👏🏾 I loved the movie and the different types of secret codes for it but I can now forgive them and fully understand it from their point of view 😎💯
I went in completely blind, not hearing any of the hype, and I loved it. Reminded me of a modern "Silence of the Lambs". But I get it, the hype is why I detested "Hereditary". They hyped it as the scariest movie since "The Exorcist" and that's not a fair comparison.
Hereditary imo and many others think its one of if not the scariest movie to come out within the last decade. it was very unsettling with the whole cult vibe and naked old people crawling on ceilings in the dark lmao
It is one of the better horror movies to come out in the last decade. But when I was sitting in the theatre watching it, I was really disappointed. After rewatching it without all the hype, I realized how unsettling and creepy it is. I just wish the marketing was different.
Leave it to struggle nation to disregard horror movies that are layered and critically acclaimed lmao Jk jk hopefully you guys like this movie I think it looks good
the Wailing did what longlegs was trying to do, but Oz seems like his adding some batshit stuff compared to the short story, and its leaning into horror comedy which i think will do justice,
Long legs was extremely overrated saying it’s the best and scariest horror film of 2024 was a reach was I a bit uncomfortable yes but it just went downhill ass it went on
Y'alls horror taste infuriates me, y'all didn't like the chucky show, barbarian, and there was another 1 that was really good that y'all didn't like legit. Longlegs was a good movie, nicolas cage did a good job and i can't tell you how many times i've seen people watch that movie and be scared by it. Y'all legit the type of people who sit in a theater already pissed off ready to hate on something.
The only good thing about the movie was the acting. If you think the movie is scary, you're an amateur who probably only watch horror movies from America, which most of the time ain't scary whatsoever.
I saw someone comment that the Toy Story monkey is getting its solo movie. Had me laughing 😂
😂the snitch from part 3
Which monkey? The symbol monkey or the sock monkey?
@@twidashfan the symbol snitch monkey
@@twidashfan I think it’s the symbol monkey watching the cameras from 3
Nah when I saw the thumbnail I thought he was actually getting one 😭
Joe saying Joker 2 over LongLegs is a crime against good. 😂 Either way as a James Wan/Osgood Perkins fan I can't wait to see what y'all think

children of the corn, 1408, the night flier, the mangler, sometimes they come back and some others are short stories were made into films.
I sure hope that THIS monkey doesn’t get on MY Head for ticks!
Yes! I loved this story.
ending was too happy for me i hope Oz adds some diabolical stuff

I'm an Osgood Perkins fan so I'm hyped
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
Thanks for saving me a couple of hours with Longlegs 😂
its still a good movie, its just not extremely scary. thats why they were let down
@@user-um3fx2vk8r Yeah I'm still gonna give it a watch hopefully tonight.
Don't listen to dude above me⬆️ longlegs fuckin sucked
osgood perkins and james wan, this is good
Director is the QB, Producer is the Coach. At least thats the way I think of it.
The director "Osgood Perkins" is the son of the actor for Norman Bates in the original Psycho movie.
🔴 Hell, yeah, an updated version of the 1984 film "The Devil's Gift." Also, based on Stephen King's short story as well
Speaking of James Wan, The Conjuring: Last Rites is currently being filmed.
Dude came out of Chris closest on family guy and got a movie

Osgood Perkins movies always have amazing trailers
lol I enjoyed Long Legs more on the second watch (although I didn't enjoy cage's character). This trailer looks crazy, so i'm checking this out
I was disappointed in Long Legs, too. I was so hyped and then....flat line.
I want to make and direct a horror movie about Bigfoot, I think he’s the only one who can do it right
Idk but what i heard of Longlegs is that it's a thriller not a horror movie but idk i haven't watched it yet
It's a good movie, you should give it a try
@@dal1947 oh I will
The monkey then at the end of this trailer it changes to Th mone key (the money key) interesting!
I hope you guys can do a reaction/review on. The new hellboy movie. It was actually a good film.
THANK YOU!!!! Thought I was the only one who thought longlegs was horrible. Thank u!! That movie sucked
Did you get to see Terrifier 3?
Gotta check out the Legend of Ochi trailer
Please do a movie reaction to the new Hellboy and Terrifier 3 😂 Also hopefully yall check out The Substance as well.

The first time I saw long legs, I didn't like it at all.
The 2nd I slightly liked it. Slightly. And Nicolas Cage wasn't scary at all.
Sweet first comment I gotta see this film 😊

finally someone with the same opinion about longlegs, extremely overrated
So it's a cursed object?
Longlegs ending pissed me off.. just letting the mom get murked in the kitchen.
it was rushed for sure, they just needed a more intertwined plot and made it longer.
the Wailing did what longlegs was trying to do, but Oz seems like his adding some batshit stuff compared to the short story, and its leaning into horror comedy which i think will do justice,
The wailing was awful. Longlegs >>> wailing
*Longlegs was not for me. This looks dope though.*
Did I see Tatiana Maslany?
can you finally warch the nosferatu trailer please😂
Joe didn't like Joker (2019)?
He was talking about the sequel.
