It was made clear the police considered the gas leak highly suspect (one would have to be a moron not to be suspicious) and she diverted them from herself by fabricating the arguement between Luca and Viti and then Viti's subsequent "disappearance." If she left him walking around the police would get wind of it and want to talk to him, which she could not let happen under ANY circumstances.
The fact that the building they see Squid looting is called " Zoo" and then them settling in the tunnels beneath it is such a great nod to the comics without beating you over the head with it. I've seen a few reactions and nobody I have watched has picked up on it yet. This show is a masterpiece. I know the makeup is a pain but I really hope Colin Farrell continues to play this character.

I assume this terminal was originally designed for the Waynes to have private access across the city, but it could also have been a public terminal, connecting everyone to Wayne Tower at the heart of Gotham. It’s similar to the Sky Train from Batman Begins (2005), which Thomas Wayne built for the citizens of Gotham, providing free public transportation and connecting various areas of the city to Wayne Tower.
The cop with the funny voice is back from The Batman! He's Chief Bock (Gordon was just a lieutenant in the movie and the commissioner died, so we don't know who has that position now).

Thanks for the shout out to MPLS / STP! I couldnt stop laughing at the chief scene haha. This show keeps ramping it up and I love it. Can’t wait to see where this series go.
I don’t think so, so far Penguin has shown nothing but respect for Rex. When his mother disrespects his father, he agrees with her and I don’t think he would’ve done that if he was his father
a). Oz is really the definition of that Chumbawamba song "i get knocked down, but i get up again"; b). Mama Cobb gave me a bit of anxiety, like GET. IN. TH E HOUSE. Vic is gonna have to end that guy at some point; c). i watched Oz underground and thought "Oswald Begins" - and though tonally, it's legit two different worlds, him underground flashed me back to the Burton era. i dig it; d). hail Ms. Gigante!
Another great reaction guys! Jay I keep coming back because you always wear your heart on your sleeve, it's really engaging to watch those high intensity moments and watch you process your complex feelings. I will say that I noticed an audio glitch through the whole reaction it wasn't enough to completely sour the video, but it isn't something I remember catching from your other videos. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next one.
Ur right Adam, the Batcave is beneath Wayne Tower in the old trolley system same as Oz's new base of operations. A fantastic point to notice also is that the Batcave is in the rich part of town while Oz is in the poorest part of town. There is very little chance of bleed over between the two places. Also i think its fun that Oz is going to try to become the Kingpin of Gotham from Crownpoint.

This episode made me very aware of the lack of Bat-references (DC references too) in this show. I don't know if it's intentional, or just a byproduct of the focused story being told. Either way it's effective. Only after the show is over each week do I realize that whoever comes out on top is eventually going to have to deal with Batman.
Gotham is in south NJ Metroplis is in Delaware oddly enough so about an hour and a half - 2 hour drive with traffic or a 1 minute flight if ur superman.
I've seen a lot of people say he has to be someone new for the show, because he is not from the comics. But, they have changed things a little. Julian Rush could be a fake name. Or someone from the comics with a new name in the show.
