I have never been pregnant but my friend said she wouldn’t have survived her twin pregnancy (two girls, turning 3 later this month), without her belly band. She said her balance improved almost instantly when wearing it.

I heard the same. It distributes the weight over your hips instead of out in front, so other muscles can help support. Especially when we're talking twins here!

my sister was just pregnant with twins and got to a point probably around this time too where she had to where a belly band to support her belly and it helped her so much because it took a lot of the pressure off of her. Colleen, you should definitely look into getting one!

I just wish I could hug you Colleen and take away all of the hard things about pregnancy for you. Remember rest is productive too, and resting is good for you and good for your precious lil bubbas. I know it must be so painful not being able to do all the things you would usually do with Flynn, and it's a hard transition for all of you, but he is such an amazing adapter and empathizer and he will be just fine. You are an AMAZING mumma, and Erik is an incredible partner and dadda. Flynn has been given such a supportive and attentive environment and he will be able to deal with these new changes well because of your great parenting. All of us who care about you and support you are cheering you on and happy chappies to hear about whatever you want to talk or vent about, negative, positive, or otherwise. SO MUCH AROHA (LOVE) FROM NEW ZEALAND xoxo

Midwifery student here! If anyone is confused about the whole nine/ten months thing, and how she says she's 6 months pregnant, I can explain. It's definitely confusing but here goes:
Pregnancy due dates are counted out 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, so the first 2 weeks of "pregnancy" you haven't even ovulated and gotten pregnant yet.
A month is actually about 4.5 weeks, so 38 weeks (if you take out the first two when you're not yet pregnant), it's 9 months.
She's not actually yet 6 months pregnant, I think that app was wrong. If she's 23.5 weeks, that's a little past 5 months.
That being said, I think she won't make it to the full 9 months/40 weeks, because she's carrying twins and she delivered a little early with Flynn. So, she's not yet 6 months, but I doubt that she will be pregnant for more than (at most) 3 more months 🙂
Hope that makes sense for anyone who was curious.

On the days when you are extremely out of breath and tired (Especially if you’re craving broccoli, greens, chocolate) means that it is a blood volume increase day for the babies. So the demand is being made of your heart and lungs to provide said oxygen and blood causing the extreme exhaustion and out of breath feeling. Things that of course can help is iron rich foods and vitamins
Don’t forget your protein dense foods either

@@tsurek I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant with a single baby. The days that I feel out of breath and exhausted I can tell are blood volume increase day. Your blood volume can increase by close to 50%, depending on genetics and your health. This does not happen all at once. It is cumulative throughout the pregnancy as the demand increases. I would imagine multiples would have an even higher demand.

You are showing pregnant people that pregnancy is not always a piece of cake. When I was growing up, (I am now 58) these sort of things were not discussed and you thought that something was wrong with you if your pregnancy wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, I grew up watching tv shows like "My Three Sons" and "Bewitched" where the pregnant moms wore cute little outfits and would be oh it is time and after the birth, they looked like they have just had the hair done by their hairdresser and look so beautiful and refreshed like they just woke up perfect. lol Just keep being you, we are all behind you. Flynn’ s voice inflection is life. “Do you want to go in my new house dada?” So precious. Just think about 3-4 months this will be a memory and you will have two more Fylnns.

Colleen I love hearing you be honest about how hard and honestly sometimes awful pregnancy can be! It's so refreshing to see. Especially because you love being a mom and are such an incredible one at that! I absolutely love being a mom, but my pregnancy was horrible. I remember crying on the bathroom floor because I was so miserable and felt like I was the only one that didn't love being pregnant. Thank you for being so raw and honest about your pregnancy journey! I appreciate so much and you will get through this!💪🥰

I would absolutely recommend getting a diamond art color by number. I absolutely love the one I’m currently doing, it’s cats in a garden, and it was 8 dollars off Amazon. I’ve done it for almost 2 months, with at least an hour a day almost every day, and it’s fun, relaxing, and lasts forever. I’ve seen your mom do them in Rachel’s vlogs, so I guess, just maybe look into that if you think it’s something you’d like. 😊
