This cake brings back so many memories. I used to buy this cake in a mall in PR, more than 10 years ago. The bakery went out of business and there was no place to find the Charlotte cake. I'll be trying this recipe for sure. Thank you very much!

Looks delicious. But you should try to make your Crème Anglaise with milk not heavy cream. This will make the Charlotte less "greasy/heavy"
