very informative video boah! also i wanna add a note on the dash+jump of his cruise form. when dashing, you cant fire any bullets from ventorus. but if you dash and then jump, while having that momentum you can fire bullets from him which not only are you dodging attack from mechas but also damaging the other mecha/s. it takes practice and getting used to especially the dash+jump but once you get used to it, it would be like second nature. i sometimes do that to other mechs by accident cause i was so used to ventorus's dash+jump lol
Either one would be okay. If you like Hotsteel or Arthur from the free 5 mechas, I suggest Ventorus; if you like Skylark, Boltus would be better suitable

I really like this guide I'm already a very experienced ventorus player and you got basically everything I got during my playtime with him for my own personal taste I stack as much on mobility as possible because most players aim where you are not where your going so I use my dashes in both forms just to dance around my opponent going from cover to cover and using roms ability for cool down and the sponsor terminal for speed and more cool down and with his already high dps all you need is good aim and I can say imo ventorus is one of the strongest mechs atm just learn how to handle mechs that are annoying and your good
Yeah, Ventorus is one of those mechs that desperately needs just a tad bit more mobility. He's agile enough definitely, but right now not mobile enough at least for his Durability and massive Hitbox size
@@EchoDoit strafing from side to side and jumping usually helps me dodge things like hotsteel or Arthur weapons and keeps people like Michael on their toes trying to hit me

After that I'm planning a montage Ventorus mobile I guess I should use him more a little bit and get a hang on his style before I make my content with him

Unfortunately, there's no direct answer. The English localization for SMC is super inconsistent, specially between the game devs and socmed handlers. However, historically speaking, SMC team have commonly used combat skill and tactical skill as interchangeable terms for the mobility-slot skills So there's >Primary Attack >Secondary Skill/Attack >Combat/Tactical/Charge Skill >Jump Skill >Switch Skill

Tactical skill is the dash or speed up skill while combat skill is the secondary weapom
