Our cat diagnosed 2 days ago... Such a leaning curve! This video extremely helpful, yet it doesn't sugarcoat the requirements for owners to very closely monitor the situation. Harsh truth, but required knowledge.

Very informative and easy to understand. Thank you so much! I’ve started home monitoring in Jun, started Libre yesterday.

Nice video, I bought Ambrosia Nightrider cgm to monitor glucose which works great with the Libre sensor, their alarm feature is very helpful during night, it also gives alarm alerts when readings are not in range.

My dog was just diagnosed with diabetes and we are not having an easy time with it. It’s a devastating diagnosis and it’s turned our home upside down. Four weeks in and
it’s been horrible. She keeps us up all night so no one is sleeping. I was hoping there might be some sliver of hope she could get off the insulin at some point but it sounds like it’s very unlikely. This is such a difficult and depressing illness to manage. We keep hunting for answers for a good sound healthy diet but so far we’ve not gotten any response to questions. Our vet hasn’t told us to change her diet but I feel confident she could benefit from a home cooked diet. I’m glad I found this video. We are trying to learn all we can.

Heartbreaking indeed....Please check out The Farmer's Dog. We switched our little Gracie Kay to this fresh, human grade, low carb, food. NO more kibble!

Please be advised that if you purchase a FreeStyle libra sensor and have it attached to your diabetic dog , you cannot return it if it falls off the dog and the needle is bent. Abbott customer relations will assert that it is not approved for use on pets. And defective though it may be , it cannot be returned for a replacement to be sent to the purchaser acting on the advice of his or her veterinarian to use the sensor. So this purchaser spent $1😅19 for an appliance that did not work.Sadder but no wiser!
