Grand Canyon by Helicopter from Vegas... Is it worth doing?

- We booked a helicopter to land in the #GrandCanyon to see its beauty. What an amazing experience. The flight was about 35 minutes there and we spent about 30 min walking around and 45 min flight back.

We were at the Grand Canyon back in September and hiked into the canyon 2 miles and back.
I did it with my wife and two kids.
My older son fought cancer from 7-11 and now is 13 and I got so emotional on the way out of the canyon walking alongside my oldest son who I had almost lost to now hiking the Grand Canyon.
This was a great adventure. My recommendation to anyone is you never know when life can drastically change so don’t wait and go do. Doesn’t matter what it is just do it.

Years ago I and my parents visited my aunt, uncle, and 6 yo cousin in Phoenix. We scheduled a trip to the Grand Canyon. When my cousin asked his father what it was, my uncle wryly said, “just a hole in the ground.” So when I asked my cousin what he wa going to do when he got to the canyon, he said, “Stick my foot in it!”
It’s a marvelous sight at 30,000 feet too.
We’ve done the helicopter at night over the strip , but not the Grand Canyon. Thank you for sharing! Looks like you had a beautiful day!

The Grand Canyon is such a wonder, you have to be there to appreciate it. I was so lucky I was able to see it. Amazingly beautiful and undiscrivable.

Challenge accepted Shelia!!! My bother did a 10 day trip back when he graduated high school. It was one of the highlights of his very short life. He passed at the age of 38. It’s on my bucket list. His stories were so awesome!!! I’ll go with you!!!

Brought more memories of when my wife and I were there. It does just make you feel so small and at awe with how magnificent it is. Unfortunately we did not get to fly over it.

We went thru Arizona...by suv😅😂🤣 and saw a mule train coming back from the bottom! We got to see the sun come up and the sun go down on the Grand Canyon! What beauty!!!!!

Amazing trip - seeing the Grand Canyon by helicopter is on my bucket list. We've watched the sunset from the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park (not far from the hotel) - it was amazing! Will have to get back to see it from the air some day! It's also on my bucket list to go on a guided river tour by raft (where you spend the night at least twice on your way down), but it sounds like I'd better put myself on the waiting list now! My 2 brothers are doing a 7 day rafting trip in June. Cost is nearly $4000 and that doesn't count getting to Vegas. So guess they are just doing half the river.
