I love how you have it sitting in your living room on your shag carpet and everything just relishing in the glory of the Himiway. You are living your best lives here :)
I tend to follow the 'RV full timers' crowd, of which several have headed to Florida Key's as of late....somewhat expensive, but a memory maker indeed! Something we hope to do at some point...albeit, the distance is long as we're in southwest Canada.
@@dalewatkins9889 Hi Dale, We have stayed at Curry Hammock State Park, Marathon Key, FL. It's around $55/night if I remember right. Absolutely beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Smack dab in the middle of the Keys. Very hard to get into. You need to start trying to reserve approx 1 year in advance. Hope you get to make it down there sometime. All the best to you.
Thank you for the video. We purchased yesterday and can't wait. Bought the step through for my wife so she can join me when I ride trails on my mountain bike around Colorado Springs. (now she'll crush me as I struggle up hills.) By the way, riding in the hallway is how a good youtube fail video starts. Enjoy your journey.
I bought two Himiways about 3 months ago, one for me and one for my wife, who is about the same size os your wife. She thought the bike was too big and heavy for her. It was the white one with the lower bar. I ended up keeping that one for myself as it's easier to get on and off of and sold the black "male" one. I have ridden it almost 600 miles now and absolutely love it! I adjust the pedal assist so that I have to pump pretty hard to keep my speed up to around 18-20. You can get as much or as little of a workout as you want on these bike. Well worth the $1400 in my opinion.
Agreed! I've ordered the white one for myself as well, but my wife is looking at all the 'folding e-bike' options at the moment. She tends to do 'a lot' of riding compared to me, at least on the two bikes she has, as she has a very light road bike she goes long distance on, but we plan to travel around more in the future with our motorhome, so I'm sure these bikes will come in handy! I love to ride, but with the current world situation of isolation, my core strength needs revamping, so I'm hoping to get out there and as you say...adjust the pedal assist for a good workout as needed!
I can’t wait to get my Himiway. I have done a lot of research and I was so happy I came across this bike! Also, you two are Badass for riding that in the hallway!!
Our electric bikes are the best thing we ever bought! My husband even had a rack fabricated to carry them up on the truck because we have a small airstream. You will love them.
My wife and I also bought two, Hers came first then mine, I call my bike a Himidavidson. I seen at guy on you tube call tinkering turtle, look him up, he has a lot a good tips and tricks. You can set the pedal assist level 1 to a lower boost percentage l so that you dont feel like your blasting off. There are 3 different assist levels 1 thru 5, 1 thru 7 and 1 thru 9. Each of the 3 settings can be customized to the amount of assist you want on each level. Be safe. Have fun.
Yes, I've not had mine delivered yet, but have seen the Tinkering Turtle with some awesome information on these particular e-bikes. Love that name...perhaps we could all use 'Himidavidson' from here on in! lol. Yes, I'm thinking I'll be changing the boost % to zero, right off the start! Enjoy your bikes Fred!
Hello you two are a trip I enjoy watching you! I intend to become a full timer in hopefully this year or next! I love when people are so honest it sure helps with making new decisions regarding going full time!
Yes, I heard someone state some time back that it was $100. but any saving is a plus! I'm in Canada, so the $50. went to ship it here, but I'll need a 'trunk' and pannier's perhaps, as well as a carrier and several choices of locks..to thwart theft as best I can. I will have to contact our home insurer too, to see if it's covered, and if not add more as needed.
I love watching you guys you're a lot of informative information. Hopefully by the end of next year we'll be doing the same thing if the good Lord willing. Continue to do your good work and like we said we love watching you.
Thanks for your reply on the bikes. We are ready to order and I remember you had a discount for purchasing them not sure if still available and where is it if so. Also did I understand you got a ladies step thru version and a mans? Thanks
Hey Jackie - We ordered the Cruiser for Todd and the Step Through Cruiser for me. Here is the link himiwaybike.com/r?id=kppfnq Thanks for watching and following along
I rode in strong winds using peddle assist 2 - 3 and after 25 miles I finally lost the first battery bar !!! Long milage on a full charge. ❤️ this Himiway Beast !!
@@DanielKrueger1 Yep....we love them so far. We have about 200 miles on them. We took them to the beach and put 100 miles on them there. They did good on the hard packed sand.
You can adjust the pedal assist levels on the Himiway so it’s not as aggressive off the line. Check out the key-display video here on TH-cam from “Tinkering Turtle”.
I laugh at you guys just hauling ass up and down the hallways of the apartment building! Hilarious..."did you go over the brakes?" and Todd just laughs
Great video! I would have used your promo code but Himiway has their own code for $100 off if you buy two bikes and I bought two - one for me and one for my better half. It'll be a great Christmas present for her!
With Himiway. Doesn’t matter if it’s 30 mins after you place an order. If you cancel (I tried 26 hours after order on a weekend)...they will charge you 8%. The fact they did this really concerns me on longevity/reliability of the bike and any future customer service you might need. Just my two cents. Good luck
WHAT? She allows you to have an e-bike AND a motorcycle? You're a lucky man...as I get nothing but grief even if I bring up the conversation...even as my son in law just swapped his big Suzuki to a Harley! Thinking I might have to take her somewhere, and rent one, perhaps getting her back on track! I had a big big back 30+ years ago before we where married, and we had some great times, but apparently having a Class A diesel motorhome she thinks is enough?? Oh, I did just get another pickup...but that's beside the point! Anyway, being a little older now and retired, I chose to order the Himiway step-through for myself, and my wife is adamant that she wants a folding bike (lighter, and the ability to put it in the back of her car...herself) so we'll see how it goes, after she tries riding mine....'when' it gets here, as I ordered it just a week ago. Anyway, enjoy your bikes, and stay safe while doing so! One question...being, have you considered the best method of foiling a 'thief' if you stop somewhere for a coffee or snack, and have to leave the bikes out of sight for even a short period?
We bought 2 Rad City bikes. My wife thought I was nuts when mine arrived. I got it assembled and took it for a spin. Then of course she had to try it. The first thing she said when she got off was “ORDER ME ONE.” We love them. We’re in Minnesota so not much riding during the winter. I’m looking forward to trying out the Schwinn pet trailer.
I love how you have it sitting in your living room on your shag carpet and everything just relishing in the glory of the Himiway. You are living your best lives here :)
Super cool bike! Headed to Florida Keys soon...your videos have me craving to get on of these. Thanks for sharing.
Have fun!

Thank you.. we just got our second one in so we are doing a follow up video in the next few days...
Comment for TH-cam.....
Love you guys!!!
TH-cam comment : E-bikes are a blast. It's like being a kid again and getting a motorized minibike.
I was waiting for one of your neighbors to step out and get ran over in the hallway haha 😄
That would have been bad lol !
We will be purchasing
Great info..
Still waiting on ours. We ordered the same two. 👍

It looks like an awesome ebike
How long did it take you to receive your package after you bought it
Looks great 👌🤘
I think it's great valve too.

We have bike locks we use when going places where the bike is out of our view. So far so good.
Love the fat tires on the bikes!
Just ordered mine
How are you going to haul 2 of these to a National Park?
We are naive..lol... maybe in my truck?
My wife is 5ft tall. Any thoughts if this bike would work or ideas for lowering
Well... Sheila is 5'2... she stands on her toes and makes it work with seat all the way down....
Just a little over a year later and they now want $1700 for the cruiser. :(
Wow! Glad we got ours last year!
Lucky you didn't nail a neighbor coming out their door.

If you enjoy biking..... once you you go e-bike....you never go e-Back
We like bikes but..... "WE'RE LAZY" !! Priceless!!!! Finally... people who tell the truth about us lazy people on Ebikes! LMAO. 🤣😅😂🤣🚴♂🚴♂🚴♂
Fun looking family 😇
Him-ee-way.. This isn't a Dodge Charger with a HEMI (Hem-ee) in it. : P
Buy a Admotor American made.
I’m not lazy, I ride a Harley 😂😂😂😎
$1,400 ... that’s cute😄🤣.. The non-electric version like I ride... retail for $8-12k 😲🤪
Buy me one please!! Lol
