A pit saw would be exhausting! And after all that just one board! From what I’ve read out sawuers we’re notorious alcoholics, along with porters, and thinking about how hard that life was makes sense
It's not easy bucking with a felling saw but you have a good stroke, and later a helper! The Great American tooth pattern on yours is an easy start but not as efficient as a peg and raker on large diameter wood.
