I really enjoyed your short course of Kaurna language Uncle Rod and I wish to know and learn more. I can not agree more about the importance of keeping Kaurna language alive and for generations to come. Growing up with and having learned multiple western languages I know just well that language is not only about communication, but also about history an culture and we must protect that!
It is so good to see you Uncle Rod, as a proud Kaurna, man sharing your cultural knowledge and discussing the importance of maintaining Kaurna cultural identity, and how essential language is to cultural identity.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Uncle Rod. Ngai pinti ngangki and I was born on Kaurna land. I aim to learn more about the Kaurna people and your language, and be a partner in the process of revival. Ngaityu yungantalya.
Thank you Uncle Rod. My two youngest boys go to the new Payinthi College which have been enabling learning the language on the land. And as a non indigenous person I just love it.
Thank you very much for this video. I am an English Teacher in the South of France and I'm doing a lesson on the first inhabitants of Australia and I'd like to know if I can use this video on my newly created website? On it I share documents and activities for them. If you're interested into having a look at it I can send you the link. Best regards.
