I don’t think it’s right to say that Adelaide is “boring”. It’s not as busy as the bigger cities, but it is the festival capital of Australia and has an awesome outdoors lifestyle. There’s heaps to do there, depending on your preference of lifestyle.
I love Perth as a student city, so personally that's where I would go. But UoA is a strong uni and the business faculty is good. They've just made a deal with Deloitte which is interesting, and the uni is merging with UniSA to form a super university in 2025, so it's a very interesting option too!
im currently in highschool, and want to do foundation course in adelaide after my gcse. and after completing foundation course, i want to study medicine there. when i go for the foundation course, i will be 16. will it be hard for me to find part time jobs? also is getting into medicine very hard?
Adelaide is a good program, soon to merge with UniSA... so it's going to be epic! Entry into medicine is challenging. Even full-fee paying places are limited. I've heard many stories of students moving interstate in order to take up a place. But it all depends on your academic background. For part time jobs, there's plenty of basic work in Adelaide, places like Maccas or at cafes or supermarkets.
@@ChoosingYourUni thank you for the reply! also, does the uni look at extracurriculars for medicine? and as i am a muslim, is halal food available around adelaide?
Depends what kind of work you're looking for, but as a general statement, unemployment is quite low at the moment which means there's still quite a bit of casual work available.
Depends. Both good programs. Geelong is a smaller regional city, which has advantages and disadvantages. Not sure about program cost, but I’m guessing Deakin is less than UoA. Both are excellent unis.
I got offer letter from flinders uni they provide me 25340 aud scholarship which is a 20% reduction of my tution fees for the whole course of my studies over there. Is it a good uni to study IT (CYBERSECURITY).Can I cover my living expenses and tution for the 2.5years if my parents give me the 1st semister tution fees and living expenses for the first 2 months.@@ChoosingYourUni
Hey ! I am planning to pursue Masters of ai ml at uni adelaide. Is it really a bad decision? No IT jobs , no course structure and poor management? Is it really like that. Should i join uni adelaide and for a boost in my education and career? Please help! Is September intake good?

im waiting for my visa to come and study at UniSA! your videos have been very helpful.
Good luck finding a part time job, there is a crisis of jobs here.
As a person who studied in Brisbane and Melbourne, I would say a boring but peaceful city like Adelaide has its charm.

Uwa or uoa for business analytics in terms of uni, part and full time job perspectives

@@ChoosingYourUni what about unimelb and monash
I did 3 degrees in Adelaide and could not find any job!
That’s surprising!
Is the job market after graduation there reasonable in IT field? I've read many saying that getting an IT job in adalaide is very tough
Maybe in Adelaide the industry is smaller, I’m not sure, but there’s plenty of work in that domain in Australia.
Yea it is true. I am a final year student here, and i know couple of international seniors who are jobless in tech for over a year.
Planning to do either engineering management or Mechatronics PG in uoa/flinders…. Is it a good option to go ?
Both great unis for engineering
Monash or university of Adelaide to do masters in AI and which university has better job prospects
Monash absolutely, more job opportunities in big cities I guess
Monash is REALLY industry connected. I love Adelaide as a city and uoa is a great uni, but personally I’d probably pick Monash.

Hello. Is it easy to get part time jobs for students there in Adelaide?

Deakin University or Rmit for masters in business analytics
Both are great for that. I’d personally be happy at either. RMIT is right in the heart of Melbourne, Deakin about 40 mins from the centre.
Construction management in deakin geelong or in uni of Adelaide please help. I have both offers
Depends. Both good programs. Geelong is a smaller regional city, which has advantages and disadvantages. Not sure about program cost, but I’m guessing Deakin is less than UoA. Both are excellent unis.
Is uni of Adelaide good for masters in construction management?
Yes, good program there from what I know
As an adelaidian can confirm its cost of living is on par with melbourne
Interesting - thanks for your thoughts! 👍
UWA or Uadelaide better for CompSci bachelors?
Ohhh good question. Gut instinct said UoA on that but UWA and Perth are great for students
Hey Aerospace enginering good or bad univeristy of adelaide placement also
I think it’s a good choice. UoA is merging with UniSA to become Adelaide University in 2027. It will be one of Australia’s top unis!
Is it easy to get a part time job in Adelaide????
Not too bad right now.
