Own a Ed30 myself, only stage 1 so can't imagine how this feels. Although i certainly wouldn't be driving with locked out straight arms hahaha. Makes me cringe every time i see people drive like it.

Edition: 30's were my favourite mk5 of the era...especially in black...and 3dr. That KO4-turbo from the S3 of the same period....Although, a Garratt-blower with a Wavtrac-Diff/Autotech-HPFP, and Powerflow-Turbo-Back Exhaust were the orders of the day, with a set of Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.2's in either Gun-Metal or Shadow-Chrome...

Every owner rarely talk about the trans upgrade.. does this ED30 have upgraded clutch pack and which DSG tune is it on?? Nice car.
Ed30 has bigger turbo/cooling and injectors, and a limited slip diff i recal correctly mate..

Beast of a car. Quick question, if I get my edition 30 chipped should I get clutch upgraded? I've been advised to get it done by Autobahn Technique, my local German car specialist in Glasgow. Big thumbs up to them.

paul is a magician, his turbos are the boll**ks
IMO, for a 430hp, either the clutch is slipping, extremely laggy turbo or the HP figures are over-inflated. He even mentions it about it is "gripping" pretty well, kinda like saying it should be burning those tires.
Because for that amount of HP it should be spinning 2nd and 3rd with insane torque steer, which neither was seen on the video.

@@K14RTP 430hp, need to see a Dyno run. It is my opinion, I do not need to know who that 8k follower is to know about traction control tunes. Dude, is no big deal if I do not believe it has 430, maybe it is, but to me is maybe 340hp. Besides those engines (mk5) are very restricted regardless of bolt-ons and tunes, stage 3....

What’s the difference between an ED30 GTI and a standard GTI???
Basically the ed30 has a downtuned S3 engine with the bigger k04 Turbo, bigger injectors, stronger rods and pistons and different Crankshaft bushings.
Makes me laugh how people chat shit about the owner and that. Just some broke bums hating on a guys passion. 🤷🏽♂️ decent lad

I've got a stage 2+ 8p s3 had both rainsport 3's & ps4's both good but the rainsports don't last long

Yep, someone needs to educate that dude on proper driving position. Exactly as you've said : if things go south, he got no control over the car sitting like that whatsoever.
Then again, look at his driving style : he's not carrying any considerable speeds into corners anyway. He only pushes the car in straight lines. Not surprising given the priorities of his build though, basically just going for asthethics and straight line performance without any thoughts worth mentioning when it comes to the handling department. Instead he's in fact already thinking about adding more power to the car, as if it wasn't struggling enough already with putting the power down even on straight lines, not even to mention how much more it most definitely struggles coming out of corners. If i would be him i would aim for a proper suspension and especially tyre setup first. That will certainly make his car way quicker in second, third and probably even fourth gear (which i would consider the most important gears) instead of just adding more power while the car is struggling a fair bit (to say the least) already with traction.
