I started by constantly raising terror level regardless of the consequences. I was so confused as to why the game was more difficult for me... I got addicted to raising the terror level and adrenaline then I realized I didn't need to raise the terror level every time. But then I found a button that raises it every time I press it, so I guess that pistol android is now holding a handheld ion cannon.
The veterans of the game are surprised about the player count surge as well as the top selling nature of the game in the steam charts. It was at position 6 when I last checked. The merchant guilds deliver once again. ^^

I saw a steam promotion for it in October, I tried the free Arena standalone expansion, and I loved it. I bought the base game and all the DLC a few days later. It's one of few games I have bought at full price, despite knowing I could wait for a sale. This was pretty much the only game I played after coming home from work for two or more months straight. I was surprised to see a lack of well made reviews, or any reviews at all, on TH-cam. And then Sseth streamed a bit of it. And then he delivered this unto us. I was so happy.

It’s actually a pretty good item, I’m willing to ditch the Plasma Grenade while I’m playing Raider if I have access to a small sentry-gun that helps get me out of tough situations. Gotta get those dog tags somehow! Also, it’s great at defeating the first boss because all the enemies are more likely to focus on the player than those two small robots on the ground that are shredding health like crazy.
Days ago, I found a little red button called "mayhem button" said it raises terror level. I couldn't resist clicking the button 4 times. Well there were suddenly enemies I've never seen before.
Seth has truly optimized his video editing to the ADD crowd. Usually I have those 2 seconds of silence where I get bored with a video, but this guy just compresses the video into a straight shot of dopamine.
Okay but I hardly even noticed the absolute breakneck speed of his editing until you mentioned it. My goblin brain just decided this is the correct speed of information dispersal and latched happily onto it.
My experience so far: - Playing for 8 hours on Demolisher only to realize what this RMB actually does - Kill myself with said RMB - Pick up a red shotgun > Shoot it the air a few times > Alert half the map > Kill myself instantly when aimed at the enemy - Check item description > Try to move said item > Blow myself up because I was facing a wall and shot my grenade launcher instead - Aim at an enemy > Miss.jpg > Watch the shell bounce 3 times off a wall towards me sending me to the Shadow Realm - Start a boss level > Check my phone for 2 seconds > Get instantly obliterated by a hail of rockets - Shoot at minigun turret > Get instantly melted by a rain of bullets - Shoot at laser turret > Get instantly melted by rain of photons This game is amazing, thank you.
Synthetik, the only game where I see a lot of friendly fire... In singleplayer. Cause I'm an engineer who gets in the middle of his sentry gun and drones, and the enemies. Not to mention the fking ricochets. I even died the same way Sseth did on one of my runs, ON THE SAME FUCKING GUN AND MOD. Bullet misses enemy, bounces off the wall at exactly 180 (that's right the damn thing returned in a straight line right back where it was fired from) degrees and headshots me.
My run last night ended after a loop, I walked out around a corner to be installed by a DMR turret. Didn't even see the thing, just it's smoke trail. Shit gets wild after looping.

Just got into synthetik. The stunlock is real. I get the shield bash, Riot Guard's battlecry, and stun grenade. You can reload in front of someone's face before you kill em. If you get the bandana(lower dash cooldown), you can do what he does with the hover tank and ram it to death
I was curious why the game was trending on Steam, saw reviews mentioning this video so I checked it out. I got the game from a monthly humble bundle just a couple of months ago and put a few hours in. It is pretty ok, probably would be better if I played co-op.
Hey hey people, synthetik 2 just got announced and soon it will go on early access, so synthetik 1 is 75% off until april 19th. Like sseth pointed out, getting 100 hours of entertainment (likely more) after paying just 5 euros is more than worth it.
I pirated it initially, played for some 100hours cos it hellafun, bought it for full price, and still got another 250+ hours and growing. Fun fact, I kept my progression from before going legit

It's so much better when a game's audio director actually makes new sound for weapons. It's the best thing ever. A buddy of mine would not stop giving me shit for not liking Borderlands 2 and 3 because I thought thought gun sounds were awful.

If you grab a cursed chest, it both gives the cursed shit AND raises terror level, AND spawns 2 expert gunmen to murder you. This game is one of the absolute best hellholes i've experienced.
Bought the game and whoops there go 10 hours. The best part of it was when the global chat loaded and it was like an unmoderated version of this video's comment section - constant "hey hey people", furries, memes, and racial expletives as far as the eye can see.

@@jessesmith4757 ah, OK. Thicc boi is best with his riot shield. I have yet to get it in a divine variety, but the Ultra variant is mighty strong. If you can put a hair trigger on it, it even conserves ammo pretty well.
@@jessesmith4757 I got some more playtime in, and the SMGs absolutely own in Hyper Adrenaline mode. Since damage is is pretty much maxed out for every gun, you are left with the sweet, sweet boons they supply. I once had +30 health regen from the medic smg and on a different run practically infinite shield from the laser SMG. Only the Spectre sucks since its bonus is a one time kind of deal.
At this point, marketing schools should be using your videos as recommended watching; Being able to pull labors of love out of the realm of obscurity to site crashing sales again and again. You do amazing work and it's good to see someone using their influence to help out the little guys who might get passed over otherwise. Keep up the amazing work Sseth.

We got to the green stage, I was sniper he was engineer and I accidentaly 360-no scoped him with my upgraded sniper dragon by accident. He slid in between my shot and an enemy, and right after that Headhunters spawned

after sinking 355 hours into the game and looping 30 time in a row with engineer and getting +10000% damage on a rocket launcher with demolisher I can say the specialists are quite fun.

@@jessesmith4757 I got some more playtime in, and the SMGs absolutely own in Hyper Adrenaline mode. Since damage is is pretty much maxed out for every gun, you are left with the sweet, sweet boons they supply.
I once had +30 health regen from the medic smg and on a different run practically infinite shield from the laser SMG.
Only the Spectre sucks since its bonus is a one time kind of deal.

We got to the green stage, I was sniper he was engineer and I accidentaly 360-no scoped him with my upgraded sniper dragon by accident. He slid in between my shot and an enemy, and right after that Headhunters spawned

after sinking 355 hours into the game and looping 30 time in a row with engineer and getting +10000% damage on a rocket launcher with demolisher I can say the specialists are quite fun.
