What do you expect, an update on every stray animal? They don't know where the strays are, they're either stranded or dead if they were in the flood waters. Many shelters tried to trap and collect feral animals before the flooding happened

Despite popular belief animals don't have some magical power/instinct to guide them when things like this happen so many of them die or get injured. I don't know if you believe in God or have any knowledge of the Bible but when God created people the job he assigned them was to care for the animals and the garden. To be concerned about the animals in addition to worrying about the people is very noble and the people doing so should not be criticized.

Free transportation to shelters and people still don't evacuate and put themselves in danger. Then need to be rescued to go to shelters they should have been in the first place. Humans! 🙄
People who had ample time and notification to evacuate, but didn't, should be be eligible for rescue. They made their choice, use the resume resources somewhere better and reduce risk to rescue workers.
I get for a lot of people it was expensive to leave. But it’s a lot more expensive to be rescued from your flooded house. I don’t know, I would’ve left. Maybe I’m privileged.

You have families with homes ripped apart, bodies floating down river, people trapped with their pets in chest high water and you’re going to show your backyard that has a few downed trees and a bbq grill that got pushed back? police, fire trucks, ambulace clearwater fl. appartment complex, 19 and drew st. .. word on the street is , it flooded past 2nd floor.. wheres that story. they blocked off the whole complex with one lane open for almost 24hrs , we here lost our power 6 hrs before milton made landfall .. so was was in the dark 4pm milton was around 12ish am .. but 3 days later we got electric back on here . electric is spotty at best through out pinellas county.. went to treasure island yesterday.. and back home.. im now staying home next 3 days to let out communities reopen... traffic is a fucking night mare and cops every where , but not a single one directing traffic.. wtf man.. hwy 19 is a 55 to 70 mile an hour speed zone... what do police do , they put fucking stop sign up for everyone .. now every single car on 19 has to make a complete stop why ??? because there is a police car watching everyone.. . i aint going back out for a while.. all police do dn here is hand out tickets and arrest people.. and sit in a car .. thats their job down here aint no wander why we got so damn many.. its an easy fun job.. put strain on society and have fun doing it..... im staying home till mid next week at least.. and ..i got no where to be anyways.. lol
