Black Desert: Getting the Perfect Skills on Your T9 Cheaply (ex. Arduanatt / Pegasus)

- You should be able to get a near perfect Tier 9 Dream Horse by branding at level 1 and just using coupons when your horse fails to learn a skill and when it heads into the 20s where skill learning starts to slow down. If you are like me and don't want to spend much money, you can still get an amazing horse this way. S: Sideways isn't worth spending extra for, so focus failstacks on S: Charge, S: IA, or Wings of Freedom (for Pegasus / Arduanatt) or Earth of Protection (for Unicorn / Dine).

ty for the videos, i myself don't train horses but i'm glad some people find fun in various ways in the game + it kinda helps me out since i bought a tier 8 and rolled s accel and insta accel on it

Thanks for the explanation! Filthy turned me on to this video when I was level 5 and I had already lost a 2 skill gains at level up. Since branding my horse and using the courser spirit method, every single level that I had courser spirit uninstalled, I have gained a new skill at level up. It has not failed once! At level 23, I have 22 skills, used 7 skill change coupons and have every skill except courser spirit and S:sideways. Even if I got no more skills, I would have everything I need. Thanks again!
I lost 3 skill gain opportunities. Level 2, level 3 and then when overnight training when I had 6 level ups from 6-12. After that missed skill, I stopped doing overnight training and made sure I could get courser spirit uninstalled before the next level up.
Update: Got all 24 skills by level 25. Spent 8 skill change coupons total. There was no level that I did not learn a new skill when I had rolled off courser spirit. It worked perfectly. Now my question is, can you do this without branding the horse??
@@ldmcnutt Yay! I'm glad you got a perfect t9 out of this. You can do it without the branding stone, but it can take more coupons. There is still a bit of rng- the branding stone basically saves you money if it was going to be a stupid horse (my Unicorn would have been terrible). But you never know when you start leveling the horse how the skills are going to turn out, and t9s are so expensive to make or buy... better safe than sorry as they say. XD
Thanks for the awesome guide. What server are you in and did the Doom horse already came out? Because I am just planning to save up all my strength materials for Doom. And/Or maybe I will try for pegasus if I have enough mats for it. Im in SEA server. I just bred 3 T8 horses last week because of the breeding horse event we are having now.
I am on NA, but I don't think we will get Doom until next year here. I am working on a Unicorn now- we also had an event for horses with lots of t9 materials. I bought up 12 attempts worth :D
Wow 12 attempts. How long it took you to save those? What kind of T9 event that you guys had(maybe ill wait for this event for our server)? And does the stats of T8 will carry over when you successfully awaken the horse? If that so, you need to get the best T8? Sorry I have a lot of question. :D
The t9 is basically a brand new horse, so the t8 stats don't matter. We had a 2 week event where multiple t9 materials dropped from fishing/gathering/hunting/grinding, and I periodically checked the marketplace to bid on stacks. I had my pegasus before the event started (took 18 attempts), so I am using all of these for unicorn.
@@protoh4wkgaming735 wow must be took you a very long time to have those 18 attempts materials. How do you level up your T8 faster? I live in Hawaii, I supposed to be playing NA but my friends are playing SEA thats why im there. I kinda want to attempt since I got 4 T8s from the event.

hey proto, i got a question, (also i stopped by your stream, was super fun to see you) anyways... so i have a question, what is the failstack is it 1% per fail or is it less? what do you think?
now that it shows the percentage its like +0.2% per failstack and it starts with %1. Mine succeeded at 11th try with 10 failstack which were giving me %3.0 chance.
Will using a skill reset coupon effect the speed and break %s on your horse? Indeed to reset my skills to do this

Can you please explain on this? I have a T8 I just started levelling, and it started with S Hind Kick, and then got Roar at level 2. On level 3, it didn't get anything. I've branded it. It's still level 3. Should I be rerolling the skill? I thought you get to level 10 ish or so first, or aim to get forechop, hind kick, Etc. Those 3 then start rerolling?
No, this advice is just for t9 because there are so many skills to get. Courser's Spirit method on t9 is a lot more effective than Forechop method on t8. I do not use coupons on t8s while I am leveling them, because I level so many horses. I keep the very best horses with at least 16-17 skills, and at least 5/7 courser skills and spend skill change coupons then.... but that's just me trying to spend as little money as possible overall. :)

Out of the 3 dream horses, only the Doom horse can learn two-seater

i got mine today with 2 failstacks so im very lucky... but i have learned that if u are using a coupon then ur horse will learn every time a skill
if its not coursers spirit then u are lucky and dont need to use another one till it has relearned the courser spirit
