Just curious, did you happen to play on the Crickhollow server? I also had a battle buddy who was a Captain who would do missions with me up until 2012 ish. I'm back on this game after a long break and I came across your vids.
I've only been on landroval, all about the rp. Thanks for giving the vid a watch! I just felt like going through these mmos that I don't play actively but return to once every other year. But I've been back on the lotro vibe and it's a good time. 👍
Hey! great video! i recently started playing LOTRO myself and the UI/Settings you have seem different then the standard UI! i was wondering if you'd be able to cover your settings! Thank you
I think my ui settings are default? I haven't touched them in years. The only thing I can think of is just scaling everything down in size for a clean look. What do you see that's different?
I'm a founder that left around mirkwood. I've tried coming back a few times but I couldn't stick around. Something just feels off. Maybe a true SoA experience will make me come back.
I love everything about lotro despite its age. Graphics are beautiful, story is engaging, world is immersive and it feels like the developers LOVE their job. That said the only thing i dislike about the game is combat...after playing games like GW2 and ESO it feels too dated.
My kinmates have already 3 manned the Rift. That should tell you all you need to know about this games "difficulty" level. We're just simply too powerful compared to how strong we were 15 years ago. Sad.
I’ve never played LOTRO past level 5ish but on this server I’m actually excited to just go through content with people around me. Couldn’t care less about it being challenging.
@@vxIKAMIKAZEIxv and i couldn't care less that your excited enjoy paying money for a vip server that will be dead in a months time. Just like anor and treebeard were. These servers are nothing more than cash grabs.
@@Supadrumma441 I hear word that Rift's gonna be made challenging again. 👀 Also, these servers are also "testing grounds" for the 64-bit server tech and the Veil of the Nine mechanic, among other things. Let's not be overly negative. 🤷♂

The wraiths in the mission instances are way easier to kill because you are buffed up. It’s pretty nice.

u could get undefeated as aa farmer n cook
thats why im exited about private lotro true vanilla classic server(Echoes of Angmar),no power creep, no store, old trait system etc.....
I'm also going to give that a try since it really will be our only way to experience SoA launch.

DDO pre expansion packs was just as good as lotro.. wish they made vannila servers for those
I wish every mmo had a vanilla server for preservation.

Gw2 combat does feel amazing, I don't mind the lotro combat especially hunter. For whatever reason it's the most satisfying bow I've ever used.
@@wayfaringnomad I only played melee tbh i have a lvl 120 champion maybe it's time i try out another class :P

This is what really bums me out about "legendary" servers.
