- This video walks you through the process needed to attempt the t8 awakening into a t9 dream horse. If the attempt succeeds, you will be awarded with the Pegasus (Arduanatt) mount, or randomly the Unicorn or Hell Horse once those are released as well.
GAME PATCH: BUNDLES WERE REMOVED FROM MANSHAUMS. NOW THE SHARDS ARE A STRAIGHT DROP. One material that can be used that wasn't mentioned is Forest Breath. You should really use this for crafting the blue Granverre horse gear (Stonetail workshop), and not for the t8 training since the Blue Hoof Root used in the same horse training category is easy to get by comparison. Hi. I have a question. Can you add more skills to your horse by using Premium Horse Appearance Change Coupon?. If i have lucky, can I add more than 1 skill by purshasing this items?. Or this work 1 time?. Thanks!
Yes, using the premium appearance change coupon does have a chance to give your horse an additional skill. It is best to use this after your horse is already 30. I would use a couple skill change coupons to failstack on the skill you want, and then use the appearance change coupon. Whether your horse learns a skill or not is still RNG, though

Yes, the horse has to be a Courser before you even have the option to train skill, elegance or strength
ok so when it fails do you have to do all that 200% training all over again?
only if you didn't use cron stones. if you used cron stones, you only need to gather 100%

it's weird coz I don't have that tab for training horse!! did they remove it ??
...if you pull your horse from training, does it lose all your mats? example: what if I dont have the mats to get it to %200, and need the horse. does the exp and mats go to %0 if you pull from training?
The training xp isn't lost, so feel free to take your horse out and use it :)
good tutorial but i didnt get to course training. it isnt any of the alternitive and my hourse is tier 8 full recoverd and lvl 30. i did buy it from the marcket do that have something so do with it?
In order for your tier 8 horse to be "awakened" as a Tier 9 Dream Horse (the courser training option at the ranch), it has to be Courser. When your horse is a Courser, it will have a little gold icon in the mount info window. It needs to have these 7 skills to qualify: Drift, Sprint, Instant Accel, Charge, Sideways, S: Sideways, and S: Instant Accel. It sounds like your horse doesn't have all of those skills yet, so you will have to buy a pearl item "mount skill change coupon" and try to roll them onto your horse, or wait and buy a better horse from the horse market. I'm confused. You said there was a 1% chance of getting a dream horse but then said that the average attempts that people took to get one was 4?
No.. 1% chance to succeed, and on average people had to do the whole awakening thing about 4 times before they finally got it.
Im sorry..but mathematically it does not make any sense. if i have a 1% base chance of getting a dream horse, i will have to try 100 times on average before i get one. now if one person claimed that he got a dream horse after 4 tries, i understand, its a slim chance but possible. but what you said is that a few people claimed to have succeeded in getting a dream horse after oonly 4 tries and that just doesnt make any sense

Failstacks increase the chance, I guess. I just got an unicorn at fourth attempt.
I understand why that didn't make sense, sorry about that. So when BDO first introduced t9 to us, breeders were tracking as many t9 attempts as they could. The people who got ridiculously lucky and succeeded in getting a t9 still had to invest at least 4 total attempts, in other words. However, overall among all people making attempts, almost no one succeeds resulting in the 1% statistic.

Can i get to 200% by just using fodders? I would like to try my luck in getting a pegasus. Also do I need to fill up all my mats to skill?
The max you can have in one category is actually 180% which = a 90% chance at that specific t9. Just remember that past 100% in one category, it takes 2 material per percent not just 1. So to get the skill category to 180% for pegasus would take 260 materials. I am currently going for Doom, and to reduce the expense in materials a bit, I try to aim for 120% in the strength category, and 40% in the other two categories. That gives me a 60% chance to roll Doom, and 20% chance to roll a uni, and 20% to roll a pegasus. But to be on the safe side, you should push the skill category as high as you can.

so wait since the doom horse released, the chance of me getting that particular horse will be random? i dont get to choose which dream horse i want?
You can still move the odds into your favor by overstacking in the Strength category for Doom. Every 2% of materials in a category = 1% towards the horse you want. So if you stack to the max 180% in the Strength category, that gives you a 90% chance to get Doom if you are lucky enough to roll a dream horse. Good luck! :)
If want a different horse, just overstack the materials in the category for Dine or Arduanatt

Stonetail Horse Ranch in Mediah. If I remember correctly, it requires prof 1 training for the first quest and master 1 for the better one that gives 2 mats instead of 1
some stonetail fodder just got registered in the market place; better snipe that quick.

Hi Dracken- sorry for the late reply. I don't recall a quest requirement for making a tier 9 attempt or for training a tier 8 courser. There are 2 ways to sell horses. The horse market allows you to sell the horse to other players and the horse can be any level. If you want to sell it to the horse manager npc, at horse level 15 and above you can use Imperial Delivery which gives you horse seals as well as silver. Below level 15, the horse manager will just give you money when you sell the horse to him. I personally only level horses to breed. Tier 6 & Tier 7 I usually exchange for an extra foal instead of selling. Tier 5 I use Imperial Delivery. I sell all Tier 8s to other players on the horse market.

18% is fine. In fact, since all those skills go away when the t8 awakens into t9, I wouldn't bother training them up at all.

Step 1: Snipe a horse from the market, one with 15+ skills. Step 2: spend $100 on coupons. Step 3: Grind mats and pray to RNGesus.
It can definitely get expensive! The more skills the horse has, the cheaper it will be most of the time. I got really lucky with my second courser. It was a 17 skill pure black t8, and since those can't learn 2-seater, that means it had 17/19 skills learned. Only took 4 coupons to make it a courser
