dude ur mercy decision making IS AMAZING literally my only "complaint" is that you lack a bit of battle mercy-ing. especially in valk the enemy team rarely noticed you and even when they did they missed A LOT of shot. AT around 3:45 ish there were a few low hp enemies you could have sprinkled some mercy pellets at to help your team secure the pick. either way great job! this video is sick and I hope to see you abuse the infinite ammo in future vids!

As a tank main i do my utter best to refrain from asking for heals. I tried playing support and that's a different kinda stress than i'm used to. If i am so out of position bc of a bad play or you might die bc im diving i dont expect heals or to be revived by a mercy.

I remember a hog had said “gg damage Moira” to me. I was playing Ana before and literally at just switched to Moira. I had like 2k damage and the same amount of healing than everyone else which was like 4k. Then at the end of the second round me blamed me again! And everyone even the enemy team was backing me up and saying it was a tank issue. I had like 12k healing 😀 like 2k more than any other healer. He just kept diving and dying. Then switch to rein and did the same thing.
What made me so mad watching this is he's giving commands for people to do something when he does not have awareness of their situation. "Nano bob on point" and if he ever decided to pay attention, Ana was not with you, Soj, or Ashe yet as she is walking from spawn. Same as in the first fight, begging for heals while you are trying to escape from the team on you and Ashe. Crying about taking too much damage and not getting healed, but he's not noticing when you and Ana die or have to back up from dangerous situations, and he keeps wasting breather on chip damage. He is definitely not "top 10 in top 500" if he wastes his cooldowns and has absolutely no awareness of his own team lol. Also, your movement and gameplay was so crisp!!

I mean he wasn't wrong all the time - A lot of times you guys were not sticking with him and he was getting antied by ana - you guys didn't run kiri to support him. Not saying everything he did was amazingly intelligent, but you guys weren't helping the situation. You played well on mercy but the other support could have easily swapped to fix the issue. On the first map he was right and no one was really supporting him you all were outside far corner.
i mean yeah but if he was talking like a normal person instead of yelling at everyone since the game started, then maybe the team wouldve been more inclined to listen. most of the stuff he was complaining about would have been helped if he actually played with his team and wasnt egotistical. players, especially tanks like this, need to remember it's a team game and that means that they also have to support their team, not just their team funneling them. hes very immature and thats very obvious. again, youre right that some of those issues were real issues, but its the fact that he was not playing well to begin with (in terms of positioning and awareness) and on top of that had a nasty attitude that made it so hes literally in the wrong no matter how u look at it. a good tank who has awareness and isnt yelling at his team the entire time wouldnt have dealt with the problems this guy was having so i feel like its not fair to say "he was in the right" when he wasnt.
To be fair, at the first, he definitely wasn't getting healed, and it's all in the footage. But that start tilted him. You positioning yourself between him and every other member just ensured YOU couldn't heal him, but the Ana was taking potshots at the enemy. That being said; staying on Hog against an Ana? Noob.
They didn’t have a mercy pocket all game you juggled beam all day to try and sustain the team when they got dove or poked at while the tank was in narnia. I don’t think they understood space exchange at all.
He could have gotten more support if he had more awareness in his positioning and confirming that the rest of his team was with him/had los rather than going in head first and whining after he died. Even if you did pocket him, it wouldn’t make a difference for sure. His game sense is so terrible and spatial awareness. He didn’t try to help the dps a bit either. He could’ve went after the supports instead of trying to fight the other tank head on. Yeah maybe dps could’ve been just a bit more flanky then I feel you could’ve won. But bringing the team morale always plays a big part. He would’ve gotten muted so quick after the first round.

I had this happen once with a tank as well but me and the mercy on our team were full blown heal botting the tank cause they were complaining about no heals yet they were out of position all the time, they blamed us for losing saying we had "no heals" even though we had the most heals in the lobby.. like please make it make sense. Also that tank you were playing with had no awareness, both you and the other support cant heal a tank that is far and out of los when you guys are getting dived. tank mains will never understand the importance of the support role. they downplay it soo much and they make it seem like it is the easiest role. so embarrassing.
It is the easiest role in the game. This mercy could have switched to weaver and denied so much util with zero effort. There is no skill required to look down and press E and become immortal. There is no skill required to press E on a teammate getting dove and giving them a repair pack which you cant interact with whatsoever. (Dva cant DM the repair pack btw) and there is no skill required to press m1 and m2 all game (Mercy Moira) The support role gives extreme rewards for very little effort. So many immortality and override abilities that completely denies skill and desicion making. You hit a fat grav? Petal. Shatter? Suzu, Lamp, Grip. Blade? Suzu. Rampage? Suzu. There is an uneven reward to risk ratio on many support heroes. Kiri and Bap are great examples. Stop pretending support is hard, its not.

First fight, I would have him the right to complain since he did not get any heals. Everything after that is absolutely insane. No awareness of people diving his team. Mercy is there to boost the dps, not to babysit a tank (Hog of all people, mind you). And every time he complained, he was either out of los or Ana (the one able to heal from a safe distance) was in danger/dead. I mean he wasn't wrong all the time - A lot of times you guys were not sticking with him and he was getting antied by ana - you guys didn't run kiri to support him. Not saying everything he did was amazingly intelligent, but you guys weren't helping the situation. You played well on mercy but the other support could have easily swapped to fix the issue. On the first map he was right and no one was really supporting him you all were outside far corner.

i mean yeah but if he was talking like a normal person instead of yelling at everyone since the game started, then maybe the team wouldve been more inclined to listen. most of the stuff he was complaining about would have been helped if he actually played with his team and wasnt egotistical. players, especially tanks like this, need to remember it's a team game and that means that they also have to support their team, not just their team funneling them. hes very immature and thats very obvious. again, youre right that some of those issues were real issues, but its the fact that he was not playing well to begin with (in terms of positioning and awareness) and on top of that had a nasty attitude that made it so hes literally in the wrong no matter how u look at it. a good tank who has awareness and isnt yelling at his team the entire time wouldnt have dealt with the problems this guy was having so i feel like its not fair to say "he was in the right" when he wasnt.

I’m GM / top 500 support mostly on Mercy and to be honest with you, your tank could’ve had a lot more support. He also 1000% should’ve swapped off hog
He could have gotten more support if he had more awareness in his positioning and confirming that the rest of his team was with him/had los rather than going in head first and whining after he died. There was definitely more that I could have done but I feel like after a certain point I kinda just gave up and waited for the game to just be over lol 😭😭 I never throw games or anything like that but this was lowkey a lost cause before it even started

Even if you did pocket him, it wouldn’t make a difference for sure. His game sense is so terrible and spatial awareness. He didn’t try to help the dps a bit either. He could’ve went after the supports instead of trying to fight the other tank head on. Yeah maybe dps could’ve been just a bit more flanky then I feel you could’ve won. But bringing the team morale always plays a big part. He would’ve gotten muted so quick after the first round.

I had this happen once with a tank as well but me and the mercy on our team were full blown heal botting the tank cause they were complaining about no heals yet they were out of position all the time, they blamed us for losing saying we had "no heals" even though we had the most heals in the lobby.. like please make it make sense. Also that tank you were playing with had no awareness, both you and the other support cant heal a tank that is far and out of los when you guys are getting dived. He complains about heals yet majority of the time he was not helping you guys against the dive which resulted him in not being able to get a heal, like please make it make sense..

It is the easiest role in the game. This mercy could have switched to weaver and denied so much util with zero effort. There is no skill required to look down and press E and become immortal. There is no skill required to press E on a teammate getting dove and giving them a repair pack which you cant interact with whatsoever. (Dva cant DM the repair pack btw) and there is no skill required to press m1 and m2 all game (Mercy Moira)
The support role gives extreme rewards for very little effort. So many immortality and override abilities that completely denies skill and desicion making. You hit a fat grav? Petal. Shatter? Suzu, Lamp, Grip. Blade? Suzu. Rampage? Suzu. There is an uneven reward to risk ratio on many support heroes. Kiri and Bap are great examples.
Stop pretending support is hard, its not.

Listen Mr.Gold, being able to do dmg and heals doesnt matter at all when half the support roster has no skill immortality abilities or unfair abilities that can deny 90% of the desicions you make as a tank and dps player. Its piss easy to keep anyone alive as Illari with a turret on an unbreakable angle that lasts forever, a permanent 6th player that auto heals. Same with all the other supports. I wont explain the rest of the supports because I already did that.

See here is the proof you dont understand what I have been saying. In the fist and second comment, I said that support abilities deny any decision making dps and tank players make. That includes the skill of punishing. Some supports can litterally position anywhere on the map and never die because of their OP abilities. Kiriko can tp out of danger and suzu herself. Bap can use shift and lamp. Illari can place turret and have a pocket. Weaver can use petal or life grip to pull someone with him. Moira can fade to safety. Supports can make as many misplays as possible and still live because when you go to punish them, their abilities are like a no death button. None of these abilities can be interacted with. You are forced to play into them.
These are the players blizzatd listens to, no wonder this game is a failure
If bro was top 10 then why is he so worried about the team? He knows he should be worried about himself. The only time he would lookout for his team is to make important callouts and peel if the supports or dps are getting flanked/doved on. And hes on hog? With his large health pool and self heals, he has more than enough self-sustain and shouldnt worry about heals unless his breather ran out and on cooldown.

Nah because tank and dps is literally so easy to play and im a support main. I remember playing Winston into “counters” and died once with 40 elims. First fight, I would have him the right to complain since he did not get any heals. Everything after that is absolutely insane. No awareness of people diving his team. Mercy is there to boost the dps, not to babysit a tank (Hog of all people, mind you). And every time he complained, he was either out of los or Ana (the one able to heal from a safe distance) was in danger/dead. I'm all for tanks being aggressive instead of not knowing how to push forward, but this person clearly didn't care about his team unless he could be mad about something you guys did

Literally hate when people are yelling about healing when you’re being dived by flanking DPS. Happened the other day and I was like bro, you’re so far up and I’m back here trying to survive a flanking Sombra and Genji lol. Good thing I’m also a Sombra main so I’m pretty good at evading her.
This is why I always try to play like safe in tank try to stay with my team and stuff and one of the reasons I try to understand the importance in every role
