Reporting actually works now. I think they added some ai function to be able to get people voice chat in text so they can highlight if people are saying negative things. I think if your reports are concise your reports get flagged as being more trustworthy.

I’m from the old Xbox 360 call of duty days so maybe I have thicker skin, but even as an 11 year old girl back then, men talking shit to me like that on a game never did I let it hurt me and not once did I feel entitled to ppl defending me or question why no one is

I play OW all the time and I haven't been in VC for rank matches for years, because of this obnoxious behavior. Nothing warrants these types of comments, Ever! This girl was polite the whole time. It's so damn hard to meet friendly people in video games and when I do, I shit you not the games are a whole lot better when or lose. I feel horrible she had to deal with this in a damn game.
