Excellent review. I literally just opened my new double retention holster and it feels GREAT, just like you said. I have only had one other holster (a cheap, convertible IWB/OWB nylon single-clip) and I haven't really carried that one at all. I can already tell this double-clip one will get a lot of wear and tear. Fits my PX4 Storm Compact like a glove (love how it clicks into place). Although it's a little large for an EDC, it doesn't print badly at all and is very comfortable. Thanks again for the great review. If I was still on the fence, your review would've convinced me to pull the trigger (no pun intended).
One of the previous posts mentioned Alien Gear, I would agree with that. So far I am looking at a paddle holster,as easy on off with me is a huge plus. Grab em both and go! Great vid and production values as always, dig the honesty.
I have this holster and love it. It is very comfortable. I first had an Alien gear holster and its not even a comparison, I never want to wear the alien holster ever again. For those asking in the comments about Stealth gear, the dual clip iwb from black arch now has a similar breathable mesh. Mine has the mesh and it has been durable and is as good or better then stealth gear imho. I also love and edc the trakline belt.

i have a Alien gear clock tuck 3.0 that i carry a mod 2 full size in, and i love it..but I'm going to give this company a shot for my g19 based on your review.
MK either will work I have both for the same firearm but when you get them side by side you'll see why one is more than the other. The shell on the BA is thicker and molded to fit your firearm my AG shell it just sort of slides in the BA clicks into place for a more positive feel.

i have an alien gear hybrid 2 clip and while i do love it i had to add a piece of rubber and plastic (from an old cell case) custom cut to provide the support behind the trigger guard. this 3/4 thing looks like it really fixes this. im gonna have to look into them. thks for the review.
Good review! Really like the way these holsters look. Box set is a little expensive for me right now, though. Thinking about getting a double clip IWB, I think that's the only one I'd really use as well. You should think about doing a review on some new shooting gloves soon ;) haha
With shells selling for $12-15, why not have 3 in the kit? I find having to clean the threads on the screws to remove the Loctite 242 before reapplying it again justifies spending $30 on the 2 extra shells.
As I’ve been carrying for many years, several decades, and have tried many different holsters, and I stick with the alien gear 3.0 if they would do the same and send me one for free, I’d give it a try and let them know my opinion, but not spending over a bill or it!
Right before you stated the price, I put a number in my head to see how close I was. I try to be realistic for the market and not the "I wish" price... I came up with $179.00 for the box set. I'd probably get one of these if they didn't use kydex in it. I can't stand how kydex scratches the surface of the gun and how it feels I personally like a strong OWB leather holster. On the rare occasion I go IWB, I use leather or nylon IWB holsters. I've used the universal wedge like holster. I think Five Star makes one. I also just got today a Crossfire IWB/OWB ambi nylon holster. It is rather nice. It took a bit to get used to again, but once I did it worked great.
I really really love the double hook one. Looks like it would be an amazing fit as you said buddy. I'd love to have one of those.....most definitely going to have to look into that set! #VeryHelpful

That is a ridiculous amount of money for basically a fancy $40 Alien Gear holster with 2 leather backers and a handful of belt clips/loops. It's a very nice presentation box, but you're paying about $120 for a fancy cardboard box and getting about $85 worth of products at best. If I was going to spend that much money, I'd be calling Andrews Custom Leather w/Exotic Animal Hides&Skins, or Purdy Gun Leather, or one of the other true holster artist.
I just bought the IW and OW set from Alien Gear for my new M&P 2.0 compact. I buy Alien Gear for most all of my guns. But, saw this literally after ordering about 2 hours ago and thought wow, I do like some of those features better than AG...man I should have waited. But I paid $74 for the TWO holsters from Alien Gear. This package is $239.99 as of today. So....still AG all the way. Even their Shape Shift bundle is only $99.

I still think the "breathable" backings, kind of what the StealthGear USA is offering, are placing their IWB holsters closer than the Black Arch Holsters to what I personally would probably call: "Most Comfortable Gun Holsters Ever". DeSantis leather belt is what I use and their fairly cheap and I’ve used it well over a 1 1/2 year with no issues. 1 1/2” x 1/4” sturdy leather and no gimmicky tacticool shit.$16.99 on midway right now.
Greg, I have the Black arch and Alien gear for my EDC fire arm and both work but the AG does not hold a candle to BA for quality and fit of the fire arm. In this case you get what you pay for sure AG works but if you want a positive retention and fit and better quality shell and leather the BA has AG beat. If you can compare the two side by side for the same firearm you'll understand what I'm saying
I was actually going to order one of these, but i called this company every day for a week straight and not one time did anyone answer. If you cant even answer a phone then im not buying anything from you. Customer service is half of what a company is worth besides its product, and this company obviously has Zero customer service skills. I have a holster like this it is NOT comfortable. You can't sit down it will dig into your side. Walking with it is "okay" at best. Bottom line is hard material.
You are not weaving your belt through the OWB setup correctly. You need to weaving your belt loop between the holster loops. Please try it again and review. Thank you.
Can you say quality there is a reason BA holsters are more I know I have both brands and AG does not compare in fit of firearm or quality to a BA holster. But if you don't care and just want something to hold your gun by all means get a cheap AG holster.
Got one when they were still SHTF it is one of my favorite and most comfortable holsters that I own.

You can find some good Mechanix Tacticals on Amazon for under $30. Ironclad gloves I've heard are also nice and run under $30 as well.

On the outside the waistband holster you didnt weave your belt through the holster and belt loop. You only put the belt through the holster.

Comfort is different from person to person. OWB to me is the most comfortable carry of gun. Concealment? Use a cover shirt, jacket, or coat.
