Brian any ideas on running flow limits in the NPSP. This video will be super beneficial for redesigning flows if necessary

Hey Dave, Good question. Got to Setup > Company Information and check what edition of Salesforce you have. It will probably be Enterprise, but it could be something else. If you're on Enterprise, I think you're limited to 2000 active flows.

Thanks! I see this all the time at new clients. You can also specify the entry criteria with filter logic specific for these two conditions. When more business logic is requested, you can re-evaluate the entry criteria.

Absolutely! I think that's a great way to approach it. Build the flow you need now. You can always update that filter criteria later if needed.

I learned that adding a new connection from one location to the end element is a handy way to handle that situation. I would have selected to elements cut and paste it. And since I’ve been using flow very long time, my first instinct is still to move to the free layout mode and reconnect things and then go back to auto layout. Lol you never know what tricks you may learn.

If one were concerned about the efficiency of the combination, you can improve it somewhat by setting entry conditions in the flow record trigger to be a superset of the two original conditions. That would prevent the flow from running unless the amount has changed or the is closed one status changed. Not likely a big deal in an Org, where combining flows was important to avoid hitting flow count limits.
