You earned my subscription with that last little note ; However an SDR dongle we can crack RF encryption compared to some basic electronics repairs. The P25 encryption in Australia the police use has always fascinated me as it's a different breed to the original design.

Yeah I thought about my comment after I made it, I was thinking about the likelihood of that dongle having any computer with a compatible OS still working say, 40 years from now, to connect it to.
