You could just wrap a couple turns around a small ferrite core inside the dummy load, your scope will pick it up fine..

This video is awesome, as long as you mute it. But good info and visuals for making a sample port.

I wish they came that way ! next time use hi temp red silicone just a small dap. that hot glue will melt when resistor heats up. and you can do this mod on the oil filled one. it is a paint can . They make a line section for sample port. quite costly but good to 3 GHz has N connectors. for HF this mod is great ! I may do it to the 2.5 Kw air cooled one they sell which I have with the oil one. but I have the line section tap . this is great for NANO VNA or TINY SA .can also put frequency counter on tap. AM/FM no audio . just dead key read frequency ! 73's

Would have been much more enjoyable to watch without the music

What is specific purpose of sampler port?

It attenuates the signal down to a much lower level that is safe to use for an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, frequency counter etc.

@@salvagegeek my 264 is 1K, same same on the mod? No changes needed to the resistor pack?

You ruined the video with the music my friend. People came to watch and hear you explain, not listen to music.
