@@DevlinPeckYT Thanks for asking. My attempt went pretty well, till the last part (after copy pasting the 2nd scene for Connect) 😄 Made a small mistake there. To be precise, I forgot to rename the trigger in Connect's 3rd screen. Forgot to change it from "isExamineCompleted" to "isConnectCompleted" 😄😁 So, when I previewed the entire Connect scene, and then came back to the Home page, all the changes (tick mark & reviewed state) appeared for Examine NOT Connect 😬😂. Took sometime to figure this out, but it was cool and I enjoyed every bit. Gonna, check some of your other videos 🙂
37:55 I can confirm that applying the variable to the Timeline of the OBJECT caused issues (i.e. it didn't work). But using the Timelines of the slide, it worked perfectly.
Devlin - helpful workshop but curious - Why not just group the elements of your check mark and dump it on the viewed state of your button graphic? Seems more intuitive to have the completion associated with the button anyway. Eliminates the need to use the hidden boxes and the saved state issues.
Devlin, do you know of a way to open up a Google Calendar in Storyline 360 instead of using a hyperlink? I immediately thought of using a lightbox but that is for still images.
Thank you very much, Devlin! Just wondering, how come I don't see the tiny arrows on the lower side of my slides? I have to create a button Next to jump to next slide.
@@DevlinPeckYT That explains why. Does this mean that I really have to create a next button or similar for the user to get to the next page since this tiny buttons are only visible to me when player is on? Thank you 😊

Hi Devlin,
I always struggled with the alignments from objects. Your hints are a great help. Thank you.

🌈✨Really, enjoyed trying this. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome! How did your attempt go?

@@danielcortez3835 Well nice work figuring it out! Debugging like that can be frustrating, but you probably learned a lot in the process :D

I think this would have worked (did this session a few weeks ago). Good suggestion and nice catch! 😃

Maybe there is a widget or way to embed it as a web object / iFrame?
Thank you very much, Devlin! Just wondering, how come I don't see the tiny arrows on the lower side of my slides? I have to create a button Next to jump to next slide.
Good question, Jackie. That's likely because the player is turned off / disabled. Those buttons are a feature on the player :D.
