I really enjoy her tutorials. A lot of people complain about them being too fast but I like that they are not 40 to 50 minute long videos. You can watch them once through to get the general idea and then go back and watch section by section and pause when you need to
This is one of the best videos I've found so far. Those of you who are confused, 1 strand of yarn = 1 skein, 2 strands = 2 skeins. To those who think she is instructing too fast or any other complaint of her speed -- if I recall correctly, youtube allows you to pause/rewind/fast forward and you can even watch a different video of you choosing. We are vey lucky to be able to share our gifts and talents with others. There are MANY awful instructional videos out on the web; however, the people that work hard and post them do it to be helpful to fellow youtubers and not to hear your ugly words. Kindness will get you much further in your lifetime than any amount of ugly and unkind words will. One day we will have a world of gratitude, appreciation, and joy.

@@shanegoad4726 lmfao what is your problem?
That was my question. How she has 2 strands...I was thinking it was looped from 1 skien ball of yarn thingie-baddabing! I also dig her vids and using ⏸️⏯️
Amazing video! Thank you so very much for showing us this stitch! Best of luck to all!
I'm a complete beginner so this video was very good for me thankx
I love this girl. Her videos are good and she is easy to listen too.
Thank you sooo much for the instruction. I just got a loom last week and the instructions it came with were terrible. These are easy to follow and it's a much less tedious stitch. I managed to knit my 12ft scarf in time for comic con! It's weekend. So thrilled!
One of two helpful videos I've found. Much appreciated. Everyone gets a little tongue tied, but it was more than obvious what you meant. My 8-year-old thanks you, also, as she is making scarves as gifts for Christmas this year. You've made it easy for her to do.
It's sad that an 8 year old can figure it out, but most grown adults cannot.
Looms are used because although they don't have the ability to do quite as many things as needle knitting (they can do a lot though), they are much simpler to learn and knit. Normal knitting cast-on, stitches, and cast-off is harder because you have to count your stitches each row, it takes longer (on projects like hats, booties, etc), and is a little more complicated with the finishing/starting. They both have their advantages and disadvantages (I've done both), but I personally peter looms! :)
I've watched a few of these tutorials and yours is actually the most clear I've seen yet.
Maybe it's my perspective as a guy, but she's much clearer than many videos and she shows all steps, and keeps on point so you don't get confused or distracted.
maybe a clear description but the most left hands with nails and pick her yarn so much backward for often loose her yarn off the pegs! seriously?! and she doesn't use a straw as pencils instead her finger for loom the yarn over the pegs so its ease the process.
Oá
Thank you.I have not tried my long looms yet. This was very helpful.
This video is really helpful!! You helped me learn how to knit with a loom for the first time! (I love your voice, too) This method is WAY easier than the "clockwise-counter clockwise" method. Thank You!!
Great video! If it's okay, I'd like to share a hack I found. If you're using 2 or more strands of yarn, run them through an empty Bic pen tube first. It acts as a stylus and gives you better control of the yarn as you're looping.
Absolutely brilliant hack... thanks x
Awesome tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Can't wait to get my loom and try this out! :)
Thanks a lot for your help and for your tutorial. I have round looms but now my friend surprised me with long looms. So I needed help how to knit with it. This is a very good and helpful tutorial. Greetings from Hungary. :)
Thank you! That is so sweet of you to say! :)
great video! thanks for taking the time to do this. it was very helpful!

OMG thank you so much I could instantly loom knit about an inch. Once again thank you!
Finished my first hat! Thank you so much for your tutorial!

I havent used mu loom for a year, and wanted to know how (i forgot) this was easy to follow, thanks 😊
My husband loves his hat! Thanks for your help!
Thanks for sharing. Love all your videos :)
Thanks very much for this! I thought I was doing mine completely wrong but then I looked yours up and I had it mostly right, I'm just using the wrong type of loom.
thanks for sharing this video. I'm not a fan of knitting but I want to learn it!
Awesome video! I have watched a ton of long loom knitting videos and this is the BEST video and instructor!! Could you do a video on how to make the tiny hearts on the long loom?
Thanks. this has been very helpful! I'm very excited!
THANK YOU! Loved it... Step by step :)
Thank you for your sweet feedback!
very good
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial
Thanks for this vid! Very helpful. I'm making a blanket.
For the end pegs, you are simply going to E-wrap like the other. It is a little more awkward to work with. You don't have yo use the end pegs when knitting, you can omit those too. I hope I helped you! Check out our video How to Knit Hats on Long Looms for more tips.
So nice 👌👌👌 now you have a new subscriber
this is the best video
this video was very useful. thank you
me gusta mucho tejer practicaré éste método con el telar gracias
I show you how to cast off towards the end of the video. You can remove a slip knot by simply pulling on the yarn.
However much I try the end loops is a mess and when finished its a loose mess! Anyone been able to make it neat, i checked the videos many times but cant seem to break through
Looks good.
When you 1st wrapped around the center peg to push everything down,I got confused(I have ADD sorry-ur instructions & this video are great tho). Did u wrap that twice,or do we do that just 1 time? I hate to ask,I just can't tell 4 sure after rewatching that part..
I used 2 strands of yarn, but only because the yarn weight I was using was a 4. If you use bulky yarn, I suggest just 1 strand.
So my problem with ever scarf I've made is that the cast on end is very loose and the cast off end is tight and holds it's width well. How do I solve this problem for bother ends to be the same?
When u start ur 1st row take a long piece of yarn n lay it across on the top of the 1st row then go head n finish ur project n when ur done u will crochet the line that have the piece of yarn laying on top of n when u finish crocheting that the scarf ends well look alike
U r an inspiration
Is this blanket going to be flimsy and loose on the ends? Or will it all be nice and uniform?
This would take up all my yarn and wool. I really wanted to make this.
It shouldn't take more than one ball if it's thick.
Do you mean the knitting becomes loose once you knit that first row? Does the yarn fall out? (If so, try leaving a longer tail when you begin and utilizing tension) I hope I helped!
To finish an end, I just tied a knot to keep it from getting looser. I am not sure I really understand what you are asking about.
Hello all have you a way of making the sides tidier
This was helpful! Thank you, did if end up being a hat of what?
ok, someone please tell me, is this double knit stockinette stitch faster than knitting flat, like just across one row of pegs and not using both rows?
It really helped me thx
Thank You!
Gracias
Hello can you explain PLEASE how did you finish one of the ends in the video looked like loose
thank you for your help :)
I would love to see how to make a poncho style wrap. I'm not sure what the right name to call them. Its a v shape, over head poncho style. Thank you.
I tied off the end and then cut it, if that's what you are asking.
Thank you...this Vid really helped :)
I tried looking in the comments to see if someone resolved the problem I'm having. The tutorial and everything else is great, but it's that end piece that's coming loose. I see it happening with your own as well. I've taken it apart a few times now, but I can't get it to be uniform. Do you know what I'm asking?
Can you do the double Stockinette video for us
QUESTION: you use the center peg on one side but not the other. is there a reason? are you "yarning over it" like you do with all the other pegs? I have been wrapping and yarning over the center peg on the right side like I think you are doing in your video, but it seems that the left and right sides of my scarf are very very different looking.

.
My pattern isn't going down through the bottom why? I'm doing everything right And the middle is squeezing smaller and smaller
I just bought a small knitting board (with 16 pegs). I cannot figure out how to increase on it. Are there any videos that can help me?
I don't understand casting off
thank you
love it
Does it mater which end you use for the central knob?
How do I get the first row to be tight when I'm doing the first cast on and take the first set of loops off it's not tight
Than I suggest using 2 strands!
i don't know how to cast off.
and what do you do you do with the knot?
c génial je ne parle pasangla&is ou peu t'on se procurer cet appareil. D'avance merci
I'm making a baby blanket on a long loom only using one side I notice the bottom of the blanket is folding in will that change as I go along?
If you only use one side, you'll get a fabric that curls. What she's doing here is actually a ribbing stitch, and that will lie flat.
I can begin once i figure out where the two strands came from!!!!
you need two yarns, that's why.
do u only use 1 strand of yarn or 2 strands of yarn?
Does the yarn come with the knitting loom?
When do I remove the slip knot?
Why do you use it? For what purpose do you use loom? Isn't the normal knitting needle easier to do??
the ends of the loom are the trickiest and that is where there is a little cut/edit and it is missed; i.e. after you say "shoe lace" there is an edit and we miss a step
why do you use 2 stands could you not just use a thicker yarn like chunky or aran and just use 1 strand?
I have another purpose: My Gran loved to knit but can't hold the needles any longer because of her athritis. I gave her a loom and now she can knit again.
when u put it over how do u do that
i think i am doing it to tight...the middle is closer together...??
Why is the left side really loose?
i keep on getting the strings tight? I need help.
How to you do it on the sides
onde adquirir o material de trabalho?
how do put it over
how did you douple up the thread
Robert Meuth 2 YARNS MIGHT WORK. SAME OR DIFFERENT COLOR. DEPENDS ON WHAT U PREFER
Also my loom does not have a central peg.
Speedy gonzales knitting lesson!!!
is two yarn?
i don't know that too?
Thanks for the help
Cool
How do you double it!!!!!!!!
you need two yarns...
She doesn't explain how to handle the first and end pegs. That's where I have trouble.
Why using two strands?
good morning
Muy rápido la clase.
