I can’t wait for the next Interesting Games video. I love hearing the discussion between Mark & Glen going over the games you guys are playing and I hope to hear a bit more on Animal Well. I picked up Animal Well day 1 and played fora few hours to get the gist of it. I really like it. I put it on the back burner while I finish Hollow Knight once and for all. It took me 3 attempts since Hollow Knight launched on Switch but I finally really got into it. The first 2 times I played a few hours and it was more difficult than I expected and it felt slow. I gave up both times and then after hearing SO MUCH over the years I heard some games journalist mention that the intro was long and slow and that was enough for me to make up my mind. I am absolutely loving it now and can’t believe how much there is to it. I also really appreciate the difficulty as skilled platforming, metroidvanias, and souls likes are my jam. I am officially on the I CANNOT WAIT FOR SILK SONG train! Just goes to show that sometimes how much you like a game depends on how you are feeling at the time and what you have a taste for. I know it’s a dark macabre world in Hollow Knight but I find the whole mood so cozy despite the brutal challenges.
I don't have any money left because I'm waiting for my physical copie of eiyuden chronicle 100 heroes ( and the patches needed) and paper mario 1000year door because I always wanted to play it but the gamecube version was overpriced so I never played it and I'm glad to finally discover it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is 33% off ($16.84) in the US and the dlc is 15% off ($6.79). I highly recommend to anyone who doesn't have it yet. Very good game. Classic 2D side scrolling beat 'em up with a lot of depth.

I immediately bought Animal Well because it is produced my Dunkey's company Big Mode. It is their first project as well. I hear it is like Halo 2 meets Halo 3 (if you watch Dunkey's videos you'll get the reference 😅) I can see it is a major product of love and compassion for video games in general so I had to support the creators. Backlolg, what even is that word anymore, i remember hearing it in the first year of the switch, it's not backlog, it's always having something or a million games we can choose to play if we ever go looking :) - I once a week go through the sales, and i just buy anything that isnt complete trash especially if its 90% off, we're talking AUD$90 games for 9$, i buy them, then i go to my main menu and i 'delete' them from auto download/install, (unless i want to play it immediately) now one day i'll goto my redownload list and have an unlimited list of options. I can have a friend over and fire up countless options for couch coop, or i can dive into unlimited 70+ hour RPG's, the list goes on :)
Nice! Ive been watching a certain Japanese Vtuber playing Kakarot (it was her first time experiencing DBZ) and she made me wanna get the game too so a discount dropping today is PERFECT!
Way I see the backlog is all ready too big, so what’s a few more games gonna do? You may as well play the games most appealing, and at least you got to test out all of those games to know which ones are worth playing first…
Going to get Paradise Killer for sure at that price. I am one of the weird ones interested in Batora till I heard it's not a rougelike. Going to get the Dark eye games as well.
Good news, Mirror's Edge already has a sequel - look up ME: Catalyst (it's also got probably the second-greatest ever licenced musical theme in gaming). It's not quite as good as the first game, but still very much worth playing.

I can see a spin off channel on the horizon…”Switch Up Savaloys of the World”. Count me in! 😄 Another great video. Thanks chaps 👍🏼
Hahaha the best of all the dishes! Mark
Dying light regularly goes on sale bundled with Call of Jaurez for $10, Id hold off till then to get it.
Yeah I did look for that but not this time sadly. Mark
I love how now, as a non-native english speaker, I know and can confidently use the word savaloy
I've had my eye on the Stanley Parable. Thanks for the heads up!
I don't have any money left because I'm waiting for my physical copie of eiyuden chronicle 100 heroes ( and the patches needed) and paper mario 1000year door because I always wanted to play it but the gamecube version was overpriced so I never played it and I'm glad to finally discover it.
Incredible video. You nailed the games this week. So many great ones on sale. Good looking out.
2:57 Was considering picking up Dying Light til I heard about the "tough pricey" 😂
Got back into gaming after life got busy with 3 kids. Switch Lite is so handy, just pick up and drop off when you need to, as children don't let you have more than 2mins to yourself! Currently getting lost in Kingdom Come Deliverance and Penitent due to SwitchUp recommendation! All the best, a late 30 something gamer from Belfast!
Mirror's Edge technically got a sequel (it is really a prequel) - Mirror's Edge Catalyst - and it was fantastic / underrated IMO.
You need to bring up the swedish "Tunnbrödrulle" fastfood. It's sasuages, with mash and shrimsallad in a big flat bread. Sounds weird but it's the best.
I immediately bought Animal Well because it is produced my Dunkey's company Big Mode. It is their first project as well.
I hear it is like Halo 2 meets Halo 3 (if you watch Dunkey's videos you'll get the reference 😅)
I can see it is a major product of love and compassion for video games in general so I had to support the creators. It's also the first time I've EVER bought a brand new game on Switch 😊
Animal Wellllll!!! I'm excited for this one, even though I think I'm going to be terrible at it lol. I found a 45$ physical copy of Star Ocean Second Story R and I picked it up thanks to your glowing review!
If you ever come to Austria treat yourself with a Leberkäsesemmel and Käsekrainer. You will love it. Second place after a good Schnitzel.
Stanley parable is one of those games that blows your mind and you cant tell exactly why. Totally recommended
Agreed
I just started playing animal well and I’m so excited to see where it goes.
By all accounts it goes to some amazing places. Mark
I wanna pickup Animal Well and Dying Light. Now I'm stuck deciding how long I wait to get either (cursed backlog!)
Yeah it’s really good mate. Well worth that price. Mark
That is so awesome your daughter helps out with these videos, that just made my day! Keep up the good work
Good news, Mirror's Edge already has a sequel - look up ME: Catalyst (it's also got probably the second-greatest ever licenced musical theme in gaming). It's not quite as good as the first game, but still very much worth playing.
If it’s true, and I really hope it is, I like that you are able to share your work and spend time with your daughter. Good for you, Man!
Great recommendations as always. I’d say on the avoids, you have suggested excellent alternatives. Swap Avatar Last Airbender for Sifu, & Walking Dead for Dying Light! Happy Days!
Definitely!!
I downloaded Animal Well earlier and am about to dip my toe in a sec. I can’t wait! Have been hearing amazing things about that game
Here in Hong Kong, I would say curry fishballs (deep fried fish paste doused in curry sauce) are the local beloved street food.
I'm really glad I have a disposal Income. I have a love-hate relationship with all these eShop sale channels. I already loaded a 1TB micro SD card. Purchased another before my 50th B-Day. Already torn through almost 400GB. My backlog has a backlog... 😂😂😂 Keep up the great work guys !!! Cheers.
I’m convinced on checking out Dying Light from this sales list, especially for the price right now.
