Loved how you dealt with the spam caller. I get these on my workphone occasionally - my employer is quite unique, and has even more unique contracts to ensure my work phone is as safe as can be - so the first question I ask them when they ring and say my contract is up and I can upgrade my phone is - "How did you get this number?" Trust me it descends into farce from that point onwards - but I enjoy pulling their legs and taking the proverbial out of them - oh and never answer yes or no to anything - just keep asking them how they got your number.
I gotta say I do appreciate you guys making those videos and focusing on games that most people wouldn’t notice. So many games come out in switch nowadays that it’s hard to keep up.

Who says switch is dying? I've been absolutely enjoying all these short and sweet indie games that have been coming out like Another crabs Adventure, Little Kitty Big City, Dave the Diver. What a joyous time to be a switch owner 🙌
Currently busy with Penny's Big Breakaway, really enjoying this N64 type platformer, just finished Freedom Planet 2 which was a truly great game and my GOTY 2024 sofar. A lot of good stuff if you're willing to look and we all have that backlog sitting in the corner of the room staring at us intently XD
@@peterhalliday6492 It's a really fun game that's super short if you run through the story. But if you liked goose game this one takes it up a notch cause of the 3D world. I personally don't think it's worth the 21$ or whatever more like 15$ for the content you get but i enjoyed my time with it. My only gripe was the platforming can be wonky and i fell so many times. Other than that tho the characters are really funny and well written. The music is really relaxing and good , it's kinda like a mix of Goose game, Stray and Banjo. Lots of things to collect, and each mission felt different and unique. I got it through Gamepass but very fun :)
Born of Bread looks very cute and I’m super tempted to pick it up at some point, but this week another turn based combat game like Paper Mario takes priority 😉
I've picked up so many games at great deals from this channel, and it's nice that the audio quality is always good (I'm an Audio Engineer so that little detail makes or breaks video for me), and that it's clearly you actually talking about things that you have played (or haven't and you're honest about it). I'm not sure if it's been covered yet by your channel but I know Prodeus was on sale recently. Visually the pixelated art style of old school Doom might be a bit tough for some but it feels like shooters from the early 2000's like Unreal 2k4 and Timesplitters. Highly recommend it, honestly it makes you feel like you're playing a game off a CD on your parents' old Windows XP box, and the nostalgia holds up.
I'm not usually tempted by the Saveloys but this time I might grab Farm Sim and Rustler. The original GTA was a massive part of my youth and a Medieval version definitely appeals.
I used your Play Asia code on 3 Switch physicals that are almost impossible to find in the US (unless you want to pay some scalper 150% more) saved a bit with it. Thanks, for that. Classic outro lol. Maybe you should do a series where you take calls from scammers/telemarketers and tell them about all the eshop hidden gems before they hang up on you. Hahaha.
Last faith also just got a massive update four days ago. The framerate is mostly smooth now except for some really big rooms with effects like snow but not bad when there is a dip. There was no exaggeration at least a hundred fixes, game balances and new quality of life changes. The main bug left is the cap for life potions and bullets still doesn't increase with the collectibles that are supposed to cause the increase. I got the game yesterday and it's so good I've been playing it like a rental when I was a kid.
I played Afterimage after it was in a previous video and it was so good, at least for the gameplay, kind of half paid attention to the story, and the visuals were real nice and smooth, too. Definitely deserves more attention.

I’ve just finished Cocoon, and HOA gives me a similar vibe - not in the sense of the story, but the lovely artwork, mono control, tranquil music, simple story, which add up into a getaway world so you can dive in and have a break with what you’re currently playing.
The Bridge Constructor series is often on sale for $1.99 and it's great fun, especially the Walking Dead and Portal versions! You can consider them as savaloys 😊
Borne of Bread and Paleo Pines look way too cute and now i wanna buy them. Morbid is also really interesting and i might get it sooner or later (if my backlog allows me to stack another game up there).
Scam calls are my stress relief! I wind them up sometimes for a very long call, after all it's not my phone bill!! Had one for car insurance- had a crash, went with it with a bumper car in mind. Let's just say they took it really well lol 😅

May I submit to you the "Chip Butty". I believe it is a UK-wide thing, but certainly growing up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, this was an absolute treat for cheap. I remember going across the street from my school to Mannys Chippy for it. I believe a portion of chips was like a pound twenty, while a Chip Butty was just a pound! It is literally chips in a bun.... Twice the carbs, and for less!!! That is MY saveloy ;)

Cristales is such a trip, and definitely worth more than the discounted price. It made use of time and switching mechanics, and was a blast. It could gone further or have more post-game content too, but it was great.
I'm playing Morbid: Lords of Ire right now as in paused to watch this lol. And woe is me, my FromSoftware game skills have atrophied significantly since my last romp through Dark Souls Remastered 😅. The relief of reaching the next Shrine is almost just as nostalgic as reaching a Bonfire in Dark Souls. Morbid could do with a few more patches especially visuals (white flashing textures while rotating the camera) and combat hit boxes. I picked up Morbid: The Seven Acolytes and New Star GP last week on massive sales both of which I'm excited to play next. Cheers SwitchUp. Hey SwitchUp fam! 😎👍 I saw the thumbnail and said, The Last Faith just got updated but they broke a few things with the game on Switch (across some platforms I think) where upgrades like the bullet and healing injections upgrades to carry more, just don't increase when the upgrade belts are collected. Another user also said that the transformation ability was also bugged in that it didn't work, but I've yet to see that one for myself. Awesome job on the vid as always guys! Keep it up!😎👍
Closest we have to a saveloy is Boudin. Its a heavily spiced rice dressing with pork meat stuffed into a sausage casing. It's amazing. It is a Southeast Texas and southern Louisiana kind of thing. Can usually get a link of it for about $2 or so.
I got a physical copy of Minecraft from Wal-Mart for $15. Though I do have a copy of the game on PC, it's nice to have the physical. Totally worth it! (The sale might be over, though!)
Noice! I always wanted to get Paleo Pines but apart from the price, I also have too many cozy/farming games on my Switch and I have yet to finish or have yet to start playing those game so maaaaaybe I might get this and expand my already-so-big backlog of games.
When I first saw “Born of Bread” I dismissed it right away. But after seeing this video I’m quite intrigued by it. I love that these videos consistently introduce me to interesting games.
Is XIII worth it at 70% off/$5.99? I'm considering it but I think it had frame issues according to critics I believe. I'm not sure if it was patched up or not.
I rarely get surprised by a game, but Graveyard Keeper ($4.99 or $9.99Bundle till the 23rd) is simply beautiful. I saw this on sale, watched your review, and when I saw the communist donkey, talking skull, zombies, oh my. I never played Stardew Valley, but this game is so fun and very well designed. Highly recommend.
Cris Tales is such a lovely game, I really love the art style. And just a random fact, did you guys know Unsighted is a Brazilian game? I got really surprised when I found out.
Hey Mark, great sales video as always, although I do have one nitpick : I understand how sponsored segment works, and that moneywise they are interesting deals, while not too distracting or too long for your spectators (and I can always skip it). But G2A is a scammy company, they cause indirect harm to developers, which can be really bad for indies in particular, sometimes leading to the closure of studios... So I'm not really fond of seeing them on the channel of such passionate people, talking to developers, making the patch up videos etc... In case anyone don't know, G2A is an intermediar plateform for particular sellers, who can then sell game keys they bought using stolen credits cards. So in the end, the developers will have to refund the keys, something indie developpers cannot afford to do all the time. It's a short description, but you will easily find the details online
Afterimage is a grab for me. I really like that the intro section with the gameplay pretty much sold me on it it’s my kind of game. Might grab The Last Faith too it’s definitely inspired by Blasphemous which I loved.
The blossom tales games are on sale the first one is 4 dollars I think and the second one is 10. I bought both for 15 each so thats a really good savings. Really fun so far. Also monster boy cursed kingdom which is a metroidvania type game and about 20 hours long from whst I've seen is 10 dollars. Im not sure if it's on sale or if that's the normal price but it looks amazing. I plan on getting it after I get TTYD next month.
Hoa is a work of art, total must play. The soundtrack is exceptional and after I finished this beautiful game I listened to the soundtrack and chilled. Go and enjoy people

Afterimage has been in my backlog for a little while, grabbed a physical on sale a few months back. I really should give it a whirl sometime soon. I just finished Greak: Memories of Azur which is another great Metroidvania that you folks reviewed. Well worth playing for sure. On the Switch Morbid's graphics look like such a PS3 era game. The gameplay looks pretty solid though. On an unrelated note, I had no idea Limited Run Games existed until you mentioned it in a past video. I've ordered a few games from it now and just pre-ordered Coromon. Thanks guys

I saw the thumbnail and said, The Last Faith just got updated but they broke a few things with the game on Switch (across some platforms I think) where upgrades like the bullet and healing injections upgrades to carry more, just don't increase when the upgrade belts are collected. Another user also said that the transformation ability was also bugged in that it didn't work, but I've yet to see that one for myself.

Closest we have to a saveloy is Boudin. Its a heavily spiced rice dressing with pork meat stuffed into a sausage casing. It's amazing. It is a Southeast Texas and southern Louisiana kind of thing. Can usually get a link of it for about $2 or so.

Loved Hoa. Was the first game I purchased on my Switch! Lots of games to add to my wishlist this week and will probably get Afterimage.
I got a physical copy of Minecraft from Wal-Mart for $15. Though I do have a copy of the game on PC, it's nice to have the physical. Totally worth it! (The sale might be over, though!)

Noice! I always wanted to get Paleo Pines but apart from the price, I also have too many cozy/farming games on my Switch and I have yet to finish or have yet to start playing those game so maaaaaybe I might get this and expand my already-so-big backlog of games.

When I first saw “Born of Bread” I dismissed it right away. But after seeing this video I’m quite intrigued by it. I love that these videos consistently introduce me to interesting games.

Is XIII worth it at 70% off/$5.99? I'm considering it but I think it had frame issues according to critics I believe. I'm not sure if it was patched up or not.
I rarely get surprised by a game, but Graveyard Keeper ($4.99 or $9.99Bundle till the 23rd) is simply beautiful. I saw this on sale, watched your review, and when I saw the communist donkey, talking skull, zombies, oh my. I never played Stardew Valley, but this game is so fun and very well designed. Highly recommend.
Cris Tales is such a lovely game, I really love the art style.
And just a random fact, did you guys know Unsighted is a Brazilian game? I got really surprised when I found out.
Hey Mark, great sales video as always, although I do have one nitpick :
I understand how sponsored segment works, and that moneywise they are interesting deals, while not too distracting or too long for your spectators (and I can always skip it).
But G2A is a scammy company, they cause indirect harm to developers, which can be really bad for indies in particular, sometimes leading to the closure of studios...
So I'm not really fond of seeing them on the channel of such passionate people, talking to developers, making the patch up videos etc...
In case anyone don't know, G2A is an intermediar plateform for particular sellers, who can then sell game keys they bought using stolen credits cards.
So in the end, the developers will have to refund the keys, something indie developpers cannot afford to do all the time.

Afterimage is a grab for me. I really like that the intro section with the gameplay pretty much sold me on it it’s my kind of game. Might grab The Last Faith too it’s definitely inspired by Blasphemous which I loved.
Saw that lad’s comment and went to buy Star Ocean but SMT V was 20ish quid so that was an instabuy 😆
The blossom tales games are on sale the first one is 4 dollars I think and the second one is 10. I bought both for 15 each so thats a really good savings. Really fun so far. Also monster boy cursed kingdom which is a metroidvania type game and about 20 hours long from whst I've seen is 10 dollars. Im not sure if it's on sale or if that's the normal price but it looks amazing. I plan on getting it after I get TTYD next month.
Hoa is a work of art, total must play. The soundtrack is exceptional and after I finished this beautiful game I listened to the soundtrack and chilled. Go and enjoy people

I cannot recommend Hoa enough. It’s a beautiful, bite-sized experience.
Pan left and right, tilt up and down, zoom or truck camera in and out.
Afterimage has been in my backlog for a little while, grabbed a physical on sale a few months back. I really should give it a whirl sometime soon. I just finished Greak: Memories of Azur which is another great Metroidvania that you folks reviewed. Well worth playing for sure.

On the Switch Morbid's graphics look like such a PS3 era game. The gameplay looks pretty solid though.

The Last Faith is a great game. It recently got a huge patch. Still needs improvement but it’s definitely a lot better than it was launched
