For the honking issue here’s what I did - if you are in your garage, just roll the window down enough to fit your arm in there and leave the key fob in the car. Wont lock yourself out of the car, still lets it cool down inside and it won’t honk at you. Obviously only do that if your car is safe from someone running up and stealing it lol. I would crack my garage just over the exhaust to help prevent fumes/carbon monoxide building up as well.
You can use Forscan and disable the honking! and as for the e-brake, theres a nut adjuster underneath above your x-pipe where the transmission is. Its a 10mm nut I believe and should tighten up the slack.
The e brake cable can be adjusted to engage lower. Also you can disable the annoying honk with forscan. I used it for mine. Beautiful car! Thinking about a stainless works full exhaust for mine as well. Thanks for the content
Thanks for the comment! I had my cable adjusted when I did my alignment and it has helped it a lot! Forscan would be nice! I can only recommend StainlessWorks. The sound is amazing! My link unfortunately won’t give you a discount, but would let them know I eventually sent you there! Would highly appreciate you using it if you end up with one of their systems! Best of luck with your build!
how long do you let your car idle before driving around? Can I start it and baby shift it until it warms up or do you really let it sit for a while. Im getting one as my DD next week. California so weather is fine.
I usually just have it sit for about 30sec to a minute or so until the rpms drop. As long as you stay under 4k RPMs you shouldn't have issues when driving before it's warmed up.
Thank you! I am running Nitto NT555 G2s 305/35/19 on all 4 wheels! They do hook pretty good when it's warm. We will see how they do in the colder weather here soon, but yeah sometimes they can spin a bit when not fully warmed up. The wheels are from RexRacingWheels and are the R102-Evo in 19x11 with a 52 and 28mm offset I believe. The guys from RRW would know! Hope that helps!
@@JustPassingThrough.. I can't speak for the 888s, but I have heard good things about them before! The Super Sports also aren't supposed to be horrible though😅
@@5.2ltr done it on both my f150 and gt350, there are other settings to adjust as well. Forscan has many forums where it walks you through all the things you can change.

Definitely a good way to do it! But yeah if you are terrified of someone stealing your car that could be an issue😅 Appreciate the tip

Lol the ebrake has been like that since at least the foxbody. Good times.
😂yeah damn! I don't trust that thing! It's all the way up and engaged, or not engaged at all.
Double honk easy to disable through forscan
Oh really?🤔
