Alex, you're a source of inspiration with your long rides. I own the same Cruisym α and toured in Greece making last year 453km and a week ago 550km both in one day. It's a real cruiser Scooter for highways, as you mentioned. I have to add that my last trip had 50% local roads, and I was impressed with the less than 3,3 lt/100 fuel consumption.
I am 73 and have recently got back on two wheels after a long break and have bought a Jpymax 300Z. I quite agree with you that maxi scooters are ideal for older riders who aren't ready to stop riding. Great video as usual.

I own the 2018 model and made all sorts of trips - 300 km motorway rides, mountain rides, city commuting, country lanes, etc. I am super happy with it.
You have previously proved that you don’t need power and speed for epic adventures but now you have also shown that the ability to travel at the same speed as the highway traffic makes for a much more enjoyable experience. The low CofG is key to the effortless chuck ability I imagine.
Yea, bikes that have a low center of gravity are always easy to hold upright and maneuver at low speeds because any bike can go down the road at 50+km/h no problem.
One of the reasons why I still follow your videos is that they are easy to watch, and the camera wanders to the left and right minimum and I get the least headache watching your videos.😁😁🍻🍻

Interesting, thank you. I got myself a 2009 Aprilia Atlantic 500 Sprint. In my stables there are also a 1150RT, a 1150GS and a 4th gen VFR 750. The bike I used most is the RT. It is good for commuting, go to the shop and, of course, long distance touring. I bought the Aprilia to find out how it would compare with the RT. In town it is better. It is lighter, much more nimble and twist and go is perfect in a city. To my surprise it is fine on the highway as well. I do not ride very fast, I usually stay well below the legal maximum in my country. When it is busy, like rush hour, I like to stay in the right lane as it is much more relaxed than the left lane and the left lane is not really a lot faster. You often end up behind a large lorry and are impacted by the turbulence behind this lorry. The RT has no problem with this. To my surprise the Aprilia has no problem with it either. It is perfectly stable. Where I found it less suited was on the back roads. It is fast enough, but... it does not overtake as easily as anyone of my motorbikes. If I seriously would go for a scooter I probably would settle for a 650 Burgman. It is heavy, yet that is no problem to me, the RT is heavy too, does not bother me that much. I may also consider a TMax 5xx or a AK550. But I do not really like the belt drive to the rear wheel. I understand the reasoning behind it but it means additional maintenance...
Foarte bun clip :) Traseul este foarte frumos. Pacat de calitatea asfaltului dintre Gheorgheni si Lacu Rosu. Am trecut recent prin Cheile Bicazului cu deosebirea ca, in loc de traversarea prin Valea Prahovei, am ales Lepsa. Cruisym, clar este un scuter foarte capabil (am vazut filmari/postari si cu ture prin Europa). Dupa ce am luat permisul am fost intre moto si un maxiscuter de 300/350cc. Desi mi-am ales o motocicleta pt. moment (un NC750X cu transmisie manuala), Cruisym 300 mi-a lasat si mie o impresie buna la ridetest, chiar daca m-am invartit numai cateva minute cu el prin curte. Cred ca este foarte util pentru cineva care are nevoie la naveta zilnica, cumparaturi (mai ales si cu un topcase), dar sa-l utilizeze si la iesirile de week-end. Foarte dragut din partea celor de la SYM care m-au lasat la ridetest, desi aveam permisul de numai o saptamana.
Cum zic si un video in afara de comfort nu exceleaza la nimic dar face foarte multe foarte bine. Un all rounder in adevaratul sens al cuvantului, se descurca bine la toate si poti sa faci cam orice vrei cu el, nu te limiteaza.

How would you compare it with the Forza 350 in matters of comfort? Suspension and seat? I rode the forza 2 up and the thibg wobbled and flexed like crazy at low speeds.
If you had a motorcycle you can use an auto blipper, if it is compatible with your brand of bike. But then again there is nothing like a scooter like an ST200, HD300 or a cruisym 300 and few others along the same line. I paid my HD off and I am waiting to pick it up today, tomorrow or at the latest Monday. What bike is your riding partner riding? Be safe.
I live in the US . I'm 65 I bought 150cc I used to ride a scooter about 15 years ago. I went out today it was hard to keep in the road. And it scared me. What should I do? Thanks
Alex, when ridding at 120, 130kmph do you know what is the speed on the GPS? From the video it is not visible what is on the phone. I am curios what is the difference between the real speed and the one indicated/ My Cruisym never reached this speed....yet.
I buy it 1 month ago, and I make a trip in mountain road , 600km trip, it works perfectly fine , the only issue is seating! It’s so strong!! After 200km you need to rest, and at the end of trip I have little pain on my back🤷♂️ If you know any products for that case or if I can find all Seat to change please let me know 🙏

I would recommend you go see them both in person. It depends on what do you want to do with it. For trips I would go for the Cruisym but for city the M310 is better.
In one of videos of testing Cruisym in my Country,the rider complain about vibration whe driving above 100 km/h and someone in comments also complain about that.He think its because of the size of the windshield.Have you experienced similar issue?
Nothing like that, but maybe he experienced wind buffeting and not vibrations of the scooter. This depends on your height and that's why the windshield has 2 positions so you can fine tune it for your height.

I've watched several of your videos, Alex, and you've sold the Sym brand to me! With that in mind, I visited a local Sym dealer this morning in North Staffordshire, about 60Km North of Birmingham, UK, to order, buy, or collect one. I'm looking for a machine for touring around the UK, early next Spring - and I found one! Or I thought that I had, because having a slight disability with one of my legs, I found a scoot with a flat floor, (wonderful), and it was so easy to put on the stand - I can't stand too long one my left leg, but what's this? sadly, only 200cc. Very disappointing, I wonder why no flat floor/300cc - I shall continue to watch you, but not from the seat of a Sym - keep up the good work, you're doing a good job!

I can see you trading Brutus and Donnie and getting a 300 cc cruisym. either that or an HD 300. either of the bikes I have mentioned as you know, have enough power to get you moving fast on a long trip and like you said yourself with a windscreen in the front and top box in the back and the handlebar auxiliary bar for your GPS and your complete. you're only other choice is the maxsym 508 but you said yourself that it is difficult to maneuver between vehicles in the city going to and from work or any other place in the city you have to go to. I did my first long trip, 70 km round-trip, on the HD 300 and I have to say I love it! Even with the traction control and the ABS the torque is there when you need it or you gotta do is crank back a little bit on the gas, and you've cleared all obstacles! Take care!
Sincer, chiar nu știu de ce nu ți-ai luat Cruisym până acum😂 și ai preferat sa tii 2 motociclete. Eu m-am convins pe viață nu vreau nimic pe 2roti la care sa schimb viteze, mă distrage de la drum și nu îmi place... Cruisym este perfect și de drum și de orice am avut 125cc un Jet X dar la drum întins îmi era cam frica, toți făceau manevre in spatele tău să te depășească și nu este prea plăcut. Dar aia e n, nu putea scuterul. In schimb asta este ideal îmi e frica că dacă peste 10ani când o sa îl schimb, sa găsesc în continuare o oferta așa buna, fiabilitate, preț, consum, spatiu, ușurința cu care îl conduci și lista continuă 😂😂 Mulți Km plini de bucurii🎉🎉!!!
Este si o placere sa ai 1085cc si 100Nm de cuplu sub fund, dar nu stiu sigur daca ma va prinde pe veci placerea puterii si deja parca simt nevoie de ceva usor si micut cu care sa calatoresc :))
I keep telling everyone that, for the money it keeps up with scooters costing 1-2000 euro more. And in terms of comfort it's on par with the old burgmans that were made for touring.

@@danidany8535 translate, canalul meu se adreseaza publicului larg na nivel global, nu doar România. Si nici nu am timp sa fac traduceri, mai trebuue sa ma duc si la munca. Consumul a foat cam 3.7-3.8. Protecția la vânt e subiectiva dar mie mi se pare foarte buna iar de ales intre scuter si motocicleta sunt diferite si e de preferință personala. Eu detin si scuter si motocicleta.
@@RideWithAlex Scuterul e mai practic, ai spatiu de depozitare. Eu am mers pe asa ceva ocazional, ca test, si nu ma impac cu pozitia. Am aproape 1,90 si saua pi se pare prea joasa, iar picioarele ridicate, ma doare spatele. In plus pozitia ca pe scaun nu imi inspira siguranta, parca ma ia teama la viteza mare iar la viteze mici imi pare instabil. Motocicleta e altceva, e trecera naturala de la bicicleta si poate mersul pe cal, o strangi intre picioare, nu stiu daca e doar o iluzie dar pare ca te agati si te lipsti de ea. Pe scuter parca mi-e frica sa nu cad de pe el, ai sprijin in fund, picioare si te agati cu mainile si cam atat. Scaun umblator.

They are not the same. 2022 model have abs and traction control. Go for newer one. And the scooter is great! I did some tours around Croatia. It's almost perfect.
The goldilock zone of maxi scooters.. Not too big for the city but still can do touring with 100 km/h with ease. Still need decent roads to ride comfortably. Maybe this the one of the negatives of maxi scooters. Adv scooters are changing that. Perfect ride and video otherwise.

It can be very economical if it's ridden lightly.

It's a route less known outside of Romania but very beautiful and a perfect motorcycle ride.

It's a camera thing, the dashboard doesn't have auto dimming but it's ok at night, it's not too bright.

The TL is nuch nore sporty and powerful compared to the cruisym but i don't thing it's as comfortable.

About 10% is the difference. It's about the same with anything on two wheels made now from any manufacturer.

I buy it 1 month ago, and I make a trip in mountain road , 600km trip, it works perfectly fine , the only issue is seating! It’s so strong!! After 200km you need to rest, and at the end of trip I have little pain on my back🤷♂️ If you know any products for that case or if I can find all Seat to change please let me know 🙏
I don't have that problem with the seat, you either need to get used to it or search localy for someone that can modify your seat.

Nu prea e frățior mai mic considerând ca are acelasi motor. La drum lung se va comporta la fel.

I would recommend you go see them both in person. It depends on what do you want to do with it. For trips I would go for the Cruisym but for city the M310 is better.
In one of videos of testing Cruisym in my Country,the rider complain about vibration whe driving above 100 km/h and someone in comments also complain about that.He think its because of the size of the windshield.Have you experienced similar issue?
Nothing like that, but maybe he experienced wind buffeting and not vibrations of the scooter. This depends on your height and that's why the windshield has 2 positions so you can fine tune it for your height.

Check it's history, some people do buy brand new scooters and then never ride them, I've seen it happen often.

@@GiovanniPumaRiso I see what's happening, they are clearing out old stock, after 31 Dec they would have to register it themselves and sell it as second hand because of the euro 5+ rules. I would jump on it because at that price, they are selling it at a loss.

With that in mind, I visited a local Sym dealer this morning in North Staffordshire, about 60Km North of Birmingham, UK, to order, buy, or collect one.

Or I thought that I had, because having a slight disability with one of my legs, I found a scoot with a flat floor, (wonderful), and it was so easy to put on the stand - I can't stand too long one my left leg, but what's this? sadly, only 200cc.
Very disappointing, I wonder why no flat floor/300cc - I shall continue to watch you, but not from the seat of a Sym - keep up the good work, you're doing a good job!
The Joyride 300 has a flat floor and the samr engine as the cruisym but I don't know if it's available in the UK.

@@GiovanniPumaRiso all 3 are good options. Depends which one you find more comfortable for you. I chose the Zontes for myself. Mainly because of the comfort on a long trip.

About the redline I don't know. In this video I used IGO Gps, available on the play store for android

Yes it was, got rained a bit on the way back but light rain. I rode the same Cruisym. After the event was over I had take it back.
I can see you trading Brutus and Donnie and getting a 300 cc cruisym. either that or an HD 300. either of the bikes I have mentioned as you know, have enough power to get you moving fast on a long trip and like you said yourself with a windscreen in the front and top box in the back and the handlebar auxiliary bar for your GPS and your complete. you're only other choice is the maxsym 508 but you said yourself that it is difficult to maneuver between vehicles in the city going to and from work or any other place in the city you have to go to. I did my first long trip, 70 km round-trip, on the HD 300 and I have to say I love it! Even with the traction control and the ABS the torque is there when you need it or you gotta do is crank back a little bit on the gas, and you've cleared all obstacles! Take care!
Sincer, chiar nu știu de ce nu ți-ai luat Cruisym până acum😂 și ai preferat sa tii 2 motociclete. Eu m-am convins pe viață nu vreau nimic pe 2roti la care sa schimb viteze, mă distrage de la drum și nu îmi place...
Cruisym este perfect și de drum și de orice am avut 125cc un Jet X dar la drum întins îmi era cam frica, toți făceau manevre in spatele tău să te depășească și nu este prea plăcut. Dar aia e n, nu putea scuterul.
In schimb asta este ideal îmi e frica că dacă peste 10ani când o sa îl schimb, sa găsesc în continuare o oferta așa buna, fiabilitate, preț, consum, spatiu, ușurința cu care îl conduci și lista continuă 😂😂

Este si o placere sa ai 1085cc si 100Nm de cuplu sub fund, dar nu stiu sigur daca ma va prinde pe veci placerea puterii si deja parca simt nevoie de ceva usor si micut cu care sa calatoresc :))
Cruisym is one of the best 300cc scooter. Nice space for driver and passenger, lot space under the seat... Also, price vs quality is best part :)
I keep telling everyone that, for the money it keeps up with scooters costing 1-2000 euro more. And in terms of comfort it's on par with the old burgmans that were made for touring.

@@danidany8535 translate, canalul meu se adreseaza publicului larg na nivel global, nu doar România. Si nici nu am timp sa fac traduceri, mai trebuue sa ma duc si la munca. Consumul a foat cam 3.7-3.8. Protecția la vânt e subiectiva dar mie mi se pare foarte buna iar de ales intre scuter si motocicleta sunt diferite si e de preferință personala. Eu detin si scuter si motocicleta.
@@RideWithAlex Scuterul e mai practic, ai spatiu de depozitare. Eu am mers pe asa ceva ocazional, ca test, si nu ma impac cu pozitia. Am aproape 1,90 si saua pi se pare prea joasa, iar picioarele ridicate, ma doare spatele. In plus pozitia ca pe scaun nu imi inspira siguranta, parca ma ia teama la viteza mare iar la viteze mici imi pare instabil.
Motocicleta e altceva, e trecera naturala de la bicicleta si poate mersul pe cal, o strangi intre picioare, nu stiu daca e doar o iluzie dar pare ca te agati si te lipsti de ea. Pe scuter parca mi-e frica sa nu cad de pe el, ai sprijin in fund, picioare si te agati cu mainile si cam atat. Scaun umblator.

the old euro 4 model also has halogen lights, the one I was on has LED lights. I would look for one with LED lights.

They are not the same. 2022 model have abs and traction control. Go for newer one. And the scooter is great! I did some tours around Croatia. It's almost perfect.

The goldilock zone of maxi scooters.. Not too big for the city but still can do touring with 100 km/h with ease. Still need decent roads to ride comfortably. Maybe this the one of the negatives of maxi scooters. Adv scooters are changing that. Perfect ride and video otherwise.
Tbh I've ridden the honda ADV350 and i would still take the cruisym.
O have 125cc modelo and I do touring. About 300 km.
