I had heard that Rumania was beautiful but I had not realised that it was so wonderfully varied. It’s just been added to the bike tour bucket list. So much world, so little time!
Hidden gem this road and what a company of brave riders!! Over the mountains, over a lake, lots of changes of scenery with interesting straights and close turn corners! Thanks for sharing Alex!
Nice POV with lots of scenery on both Transfăgărășan and Transalpina. I'm considering buying a 125cc once the new law clmes into place. Thanks for the mini series ❤🇹🇩🏅
Hi Alex. Jim from Madrid, Spain (a New Yorker expat living abroad for love and a 40 year old biker). Great video and great trip!!!! You amaze me on how much you can do with what you have... ÓLE, ÓLE y ÓLE!!!! (the accent is in the O). Yes! You can go anywhere and everywhere with almost any machine. It is true! Now... the question is... HOW do you want to travel and what do you want to do (comfortably)... Now that's a very different question... Love your video... great stuff! And I cracked up with the final race at the end back in Bucarest... I just cracked up!!! Anyways.... great stuff Dude! Keep it up! Cheers from Sunny Spain!!! 😁👍😎✌✌🏍🏍
I don't know, but that ADX sure looks amazing...I watch clips, yours and others, with 125cc SYM models, but that ADX always makes me want to see it more. I think I will be buying one this year, when the 125B law will be in place. You are very enjoyable and the feedback you give on the way the sceneries look and the bikes handle are very helpful for most people wanting a scooter or a bigger bike. Best of luck, Alex!
Brilliant road up and down the mountainside. Thanks as ever for the commentary dude, very enjoyable use of my time watching all the places you go. I will do this one day, wife permitting lol. May even suggest you go into a side business of showing us knuckle heads around Romania on two wheels :)
Exciting ride, beautiful country. I completely agree with you regarding people keeping up their speed or being thoughtful of those near, around or behind to get off the road if they’re not comfortable going faster? We’re on the same page👍🏻Best, Rola (Oregon / USA)
@@RideWithAlex I don't know if your company lets you or not, but other scooter brands would get a warm welcome from me. You look for the same minimal joy in riding a scooter as me.
Hello Alex, great video! It looks like the ST is running great and I wonder how often you do oil change? By the looks of the ST I would not think it has gone 30k km! My little 50cc Honda only has 15k km and looks much worse for wear. Anyways, it was nice to see you take the ST out for a nice long trip! Keep up the great content👍
About carrying the extra fuel - I saw that Noraly (Itchy Boots) has some kind of a backpack which can be filled with fuel. Maybe that would be a good solution for you to look into. Greetings from Serbia :)
On long trips I don't want to have anything on my back. I've had issues in the past with my shoulder muscles and I cand wear a back pack for prolonged periods of time :/
Hi Alex love your videos ! I’m coming to Romania next year ( late spring ) any advice where it’s possible to hire a small bike or scooter ? I’ve worked with great Romanians in London for 20 years and they have always said I should ride the mountains in their country so finally I will 👍
The road signs said 30km/h and NO overtaking, when you were going 100km/h. And passing people walking in the middle of the road, very fast. All your “safe riding” goes right out the door.
Hello from greece , i'm waiting my Honda PCX 125 to arrive so i was thinking to go on a road trip . I still can't believe that 125 can make huge road trips so i was wondering in what klm's you make a stop so the engine can take a break and with what klm's per hour do you go ? Great videos i hope i can make a road trip to rommania iwth bigger bike later on :)
I am looking for a nice set of tires for my activa 4g but I don't know what tires should I get for it I want tires that gives me a comfortable ride , good performance, some fule economy, nice grip and stability at some speed and cornering and it should last longer as I travel about 160 km in a month
Al if you had a customer come in and pay for a bike, then a week later the price of the bike reduces, and the customer contacts you, would the company honour the reduction in price and give a refund or store credit?
My only wish for the ST200 is that it already has approximately 200 cc, not nearly 169 cc, and is restricted to a speed not exceeding 105 or 110 depending on the weight of the driver, claiming that it is restricted by the SYM company, and does not have a maximum speed activation code, and then it will be a better machine. Please activate the maximum speed code because publicity Remains publicity and the truth once in the full sense of the word.

Yea, it's a gem, hopefully it will remain like this for a long time and not get overrun with tourists :)

Some good, fast riding on the way down. How come your English is so good? The phrases you use makes me think you've spent a lot of time in the UK.

Do you think the ADX with 2 ppl (150kg) would be able to climb the Translapina? Donnie did struggle a bit with one 😄
Yea sure.
Bro riding a lot 100 kmh does it heat engine? I am planning to do a trip with my Zontes 125cc 15HP engine.
The engines are more then capable of cooling themselves even in 40 degree heat

It is not restricted, at 105 km/h the engine is at 9000 rpm!!!! It can't go higher. The transmission has to be changed to get more speed.
800 kilometers in one day. The bike did not overheat??. Because just air cooled !
Nope, air cooling is good enough.
