I just crochet a circle of the appropriate size (by using finer yarn and a smaller hook) if I need larger eyes - e.g. 6 sc in a magic ring. Then I add the white glint in the same way as I show in this video!) You can see an example of that, with more tips for where to add the glint, here: www.planetjune.com/glint
