    Absolutely incredible stuff. That tapped plate is such a brilliant idea. The saving of the original manifold was also just a cherry on top. Great video.

      Thanks for the compliments. I thought the tapped plate idea on my own but I'd be really surprised if someone else hasn't thought of it first. I like machine work so more is definitely coming.

    Somehow never occurred to me to manually turn a tap in a drill press; that's a really good idea. The animation is pretty impressive, too.

    Also, did you pour that new oil in there for dramatic effect when you removed the drain plug!!!? Cause I know it has stopped leaking years ago and that is the sign of no oil in a British bike.

      There must be British elves in your basement because there was about a quart of fresh oil in there.
