These questions and more will be answered here in Batman Rogue Files. But not all of them, honestly I type the character name into google and these are the most popular google search questions, I do this to boost my search results. but generally they are general questions and get covered, not really these ones today....so....Sorry about that.
Today's Subject is mildly requested by many of my Fans, The Ventriloquist and his gangster dummy Scarface, but don't call him a dummy.
Also I am just going to say this here though few will read this, this is Batman Rogue Files, not Batman Countermeasures. So Please don't come at me in the comments mentioned how I didn't give a countermeasure. it's a different series. Quite similar and structured the same. but this one is just about giving quick info on Batman's Rogues.
Batman outside of any other hero (except maybe Spider-man) has the greatest Rogues Gallery in all of comics. What makes a superhero with reading about for years and years is his villains. Sure Batman is great, but would he be as memorable without the likes of The Joker, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, Catwoman and The Riddler? Or Ra's Al Ghul, Scarcrow, The Penguin, poison Ivy or Harley Quinn? See? Just like that I listed ten villains all of which are well known and in huge films or video games? Bane, Deadshot, Croc, Zsasz, Black Mask. You still know who I'm talking about don't you? And these are well before I get into Calendar Man, White Whale, Firefly and Maxie Zeus.
For Better or For worse, Batman has an incredible rogues gallery. So, Join me in a weekly series of shorts where I introduce you to these villains one by one so that you can have a better understanding of just who it is that Batman is sending off to Arkham Asylum month after month.

Woah, I didn’t know his backstory was that dark.
The craziest things about Scarface is he requires a ventriloquist to exist, and he's so capable as a crime boss goons don't just ignore or laugh at such an obviously crazy person.
What I find fascinating is that in some continuities it’s not made clear whether or not Scarface really is just an alternate personality or if the wood from the hanging tree was cursed/possessed by the souls hung on it.
I lean more towards the idea that the guy just has a split personality, but with multiple people joining up with Scarface, it is possible that there might be something supernatural to it.
tree option for me i think things used in executions tend to have bad souls latched on to them thus that dummy was a husk for one of the bad inmates killed off

that tree in black gate they use to lynch mobsters and that's what Scarface was carved from.
I honestly prefer it when Scarface is just an alternate personality of Arnold Wesker. It's far more interesting that there's a ruthless, cunning crime boss hiding within a timid, shy old man. Way better than just the cliche "Evil Dummy" trope.

I’d love a live action serious take on this character. The world of “The Batman” would be prefect for it. Really get deep into the question of is he just insane? or is he’s using the doll as a scape goat for whatever crimes he wants to commit or maybe… maybe there IS something super natural about the doll and he was never to blame in the first place.
I mean, the guy had to murder someone just to be sent to prison before getting the creepy mob boss doll... so...
He was in the old Batman Animated Series from the 90’s
He showed up in the last season of Gotham
They should put him in the Penguin show
He kind of reminds of Hantengu from Demon Slayer. A guy who’s practically innocent but is actually really guilty, if he’s in no control of himself.

Fr it's sad. In the animated series, scarface would talk the most shit to him and batman saw just how bad it got when scarface smacked him with the tommygun. Kinda wish they took scarface and burned his ass up and told that man he was free. Trauma.
If they simply burned scarface he would be a voice in his head until some other inanimate thing allowed him to exist😬.

If The Batman 2 creators want to go down the psychological thriller route, this is the Villain they must use. And I can't think of a better actor to play him than Mark Rylance.

@@Super-c00n Nah. I hear Bill Murray is a hassle to work with, and Russell Crowe has too much stoicism in every role he plays. The ventriloquist is a very timid weak man. His madness and insanity is channeled into Scarface the puppet. Mark Rylance knows how to cohesively blend timidness and tyranny into a character. Monster and humanity. Madness and nurture. Watch Bones and All, and The Outfit.

Just want wanted to know if you only doing Batman villains or planning to do other dc villains like lex luthor, cheeta and black manta. Given how paranoid Batman is I feel like he would research other villains. Maybe called it justice league rouge files when you talk about a villain that isn't about batman but still have him be the narrator.
Also great job with your video it came out well.
Oh yeah, this series is fun and doing well enough that I plan on expanding it into other various rogues.
I could even do something similar on heroes outside of the Countermeasures

Who ever knows? Technically I think in the new continuity Wesker never died so then maybe she wouldn't exist.....but once a writer decides she does then she will.
