Handong is Chinese, but the others are Korean. You may have noticed that she doesn't appear in Scream, Boca, Red Sun, Jazz Bar, Black or White, Rose Blue etc. She went to China in the Fall of 2019 to compete in a survival show. Covid broke out while she was there and South Korea cancelled all visas held by Chinese citizens who were in China at the time. She was away for a year, but got back just in time for Odd Eye. During her time in China she greatly improved her Korean language skills and her vocals. She returned full of confidence and ready to take her place as an equal among equals. Just listen to Handong in Rising. She could not have sung that part before she went to China. Before that she wasn't given much to do in their title track MVs and had few lines in the songs. She mostly got lines in the B-side ballads like Lullaby, July 7th, Emotion, Trust Me, Wonderland, and And There Was No One Left. There are special clips (simple MVs made in house by their agency) for all of those. Handong's voice is high, sweet, and soft. Very much suited for ballads.

However I became kinda obssessed with them when I found Deja Vu, so I started looking more into it. The reason the mask keeps appearing: - In Dystopia Trilogy (Scream, Boca, Odd Eye)they talk about cyberbullying, and they mention that the people spreading that hate are doing so just because they are behind a "mask" that covers them (wich can be translated as behind the screen where there are no consecuences for your actions). - In Reason MV it appears because it has elements of all their previous songs. - For BEcause MV is a little different, the concept implies that everyone has another side that they shouldn't let out, and that's kinda like the other personality hiding behind the mask (the personality you show to other people). 1:00:01 I feel like they are kinda like the underdogs in South Korea, is not that they are famous but they are not unknown either, there are a lot of people who listen to Dreamcatcher for the first time and say "Why did I not listen to them earlier, I knew they existed but never listened to one of their songs". I think it's due to rock not being popular in Korea, I know they had a rough time growing their fanbase there, that's why they aimed for a more global audience and it worked (I'm supporting them with all my heart all the way from the Canary Islands). Another victim falls at the hands of our lovely Sua. Dreamcatcher's band is also a shining star, especially who plays bass guitar for them. I'll never forget hearing Bon Voyage for the first time and the bass intro killing me! I saw Dreamcatcher live in 2023 when they came to Chicago. I loved your reaction, and, btw, since i saw u loved siyeon, we siyeon simps are wekweks, and she is our captain wekwek (because she has been deemed, lovingly, our alien because of her weird personality). regarding the guides, if you want to know their story and music style (the latter which i think is unecessary), i would say to look at the guides other people here already recommended, but if you want to know their personalities, i would say 100% the “this is…” series by insomnicsy is the way to go. my recommendation is to see all years for all members since some years are better for some members than others contentwise, but if you are short on time maybe the 2020 and the 2024 ones. each video is exactly 7 minutes and lists some of the most prominent characteristics of each member. it’s seriously incredibly made, and insomnicsy is the ultimate insomnia (she keeps us reaaalllly well fed). they have also been in weekly idol, multiple episodes at that, and if you want to watch some, i think the most recent ones are the funniest. i hope you enjoy your journey and hope to see another dreamcatcher video soon :).

SY (stylized like a treble clef) on her shoulder, "Paradise is where I am" on the back of her neck, and roman numerals (her family"s birthdays) on her back wrapped around to her side. Yoohyeon has 2 tattoos. A small clover on her arm and "Liberte" on her ribs/side. Dami has 2 tattoos. A butterfly on her arm (for her dog that passed) and a flower on her shoulder. None of the others have tattoos, although JiU seems to like sticker tattoos. Their company name is Dreamcatcher Company (renamed or sublabel of Happy Face Entertainment) Their first win on a music show was a big deal because it came a little over 5 years after debut. Welcome to the Dreamworld, at least when it comes to the visual aspect! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point. "Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher! Can you imagine this song live? With us InSomnia going Whoooo-whoooaaa and them singing over it? 😊 I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri. Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem! "Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect! In BEcause, Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's backing vocals is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done. About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. They noted that if you look at "BE" as a written Chinese character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you". The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here (or her doppelganger!). She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". And I didn't even touch on the references to the movie "Us" yet, there is so much going on. The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "Your face turns blue, blue. Your expression is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here - again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art. Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!
The Korean in the beginning of "Demian" means "Stay forever my Demian". The book Demian by German author Hermann Hesse is about Emil Sinclair, who is a young boy raised in a middle class home, amidst what is described as a "Scheinwelt" (a play on words meaning "world of light" as well as "world of illusion"), so the entire existence can be summarized as a struggle between two worlds: the show world of illusion and the real world, the world of spiritual truth. Accompanied and prompted by his mysterious classmate and friend "Max Demian", he detaches from and revolts against the superficial ideals of the world of appearances and eventually awakens into a realization of self. It is about the duality of the world, and Dreamcatcher know quite a bit about duality. 😉 I believe that is also why they cover half of their face in the choreo. The choreo was done by SuA, and she did a brilliant job! Musically I really enjoy Demian, it has some elements of ProgRock in it, which is one of my beloved genres of music. "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? At first glance you could OOTD this is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. The album is called VersuS VillainS, which makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, maybe it's about useless instagram fashion-influencers posting videos of their outfit of the day, which also promotes fast fashion. The fact that fashion is moving ever faster makes it the most destructive industry to the planet only outdone by the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up. The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra (arch enemy backwards) account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback. It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. And Handong standing in front of the camera with bruises all over her legs seems to be a comment on the merciless industry as well. The music is highly interesting as well. The Rock is dirty and distorted. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is funk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.
They have their own variety show "Dreamcatcher Mind" on TH-cam. Dreamcatcher does not belong to what we call Big 3 (SM, YG, JYP) or Big 4 if you count HYBE. Their consistent rock/metal sound is not a mainstream genre in Korea, so they have built their local fanbase with a lot of effort since their re-debut in 2017, on the contrary, they are much more popular outside Korea being the first Korean band to be invited to Primavera Sound in Spain in 2022. Rolling Stone magazine named them as "The Face of Rock in Kpop" thanks to their musical influence and in Korea they are known as "Master of Concept" for their interesting concepts from Nightmare Series, Dystopia Trilogy, Apocalypse Trilogy and their most recent Versus Duology. As you may have noticed, although their main tracks focus on fusing different genres with rock (symphonic, speed metal, metalcore, numetal, moombahton), in their bsides we can find other styles such as ballad, city pop, jazz, reggae, EDM, R&B, among others. And, as I mentioned earlier, not being owned by any of the major companies in the kpop industry has hurt Dreamcatcher in terms of appearances on variety shows or other programs that kpop groups normally go to. However, they have had the opportunity to visit Weekly Idol a couple of times, as well as have been invited to Red Velvet's Wendy and Mamamoo's Moonbyul shows at the time. For the past 8 years (10 years if you count their previous project as MINX), they have been working hard to showcase their singing and dancing skills with strong performances around the world. Dreamcatcher is a group worth following, not only for their incredible discography and performances, but also for their wonderful personalities and passion for being on stage.

Another victim falls at the hands of our lovely Sua. Dreamcatcher's band is also a shining star, especially who plays bass guitar for them. I'll never forget hearing Bon Voyage for the first time and the bass intro killing me! I saw Dreamcatcher live in 2023 when they came to Chicago. Their vocals in person is an experience all Kpop fans should have.

I loved your reaction, and, btw, since i saw u loved siyeon, we siyeon simps are wekweks, and she is our captain wekwek (because she has been deemed, lovingly, our alien because of her weird personality). regarding the guides, if you want to know their story and music style (the latter which i think is unecessary), i would say to look at the guides other people here already recommended, but if you want to know their personalities, i would say 100% the “this is…” series by insomnicsy is the way to go. my recommendation is to see all years for all members since some years are better for some members than others contentwise, but if you are short on time maybe the 2020 and the 2024 ones. each video is exactly 7 minutes and lists some of the most prominent characteristics of each member. it’s seriously incredibly made, and insomnicsy is the ultimate insomnia (she keeps us reaaalllly well fed). they have also been in weekly idol, multiple episodes at that, and if you want to watch some, i think the most recent ones are the funniest. i hope you enjoy your journey and hope to see another dreamcatcher video soon :).

Siyeon has 3 tattoos. SY (stylized like a treble clef) on her shoulder, "Paradise is where I am" on the back of her neck, and roman numerals (her family"s birthdays) on her back wrapped around to her side. Welcome to the Dreamworld, at least when it comes to the visual aspect! Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip out your spine when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉
Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.
"Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher!

I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri.
Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem!
"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert").
People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!"
Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!
In BEcause, Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's backing vocals is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done.
About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. They noted that if you look at "BE" as a written Chinese character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you".
The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here (or her doppelganger!). She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". And I didn't even touch on the references to the movie "Us" yet, there is so much going on. The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "Your face turns blue, blue. Your expression is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here - again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art.
Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!
The Korean in the beginning of "Demian" means "Stay forever my Demian". The book Demian by German author Hermann Hesse is about Emil Sinclair, who is a young boy raised in a middle class home, amidst what is described as a "Scheinwelt" (a play on words meaning "world of light" as well as "world of illusion"), so the entire existence can be summarized as a struggle between two worlds: the show world of illusion and the real world, the world of spiritual truth. Accompanied and prompted by his mysterious classmate and friend "Max Demian", he detaches from and revolts against the superficial ideals of the world of appearances and eventually awakens into a realization of self.
It is about the duality of the world, and Dreamcatcher know quite a bit about duality. 😉 I believe that is also why they cover half of their face in the choreo.
The choreo was done by SuA, and she did a brilliant job! Musically I really enjoy Demian, it has some elements of ProgRock in it, which is one of my beloved genres of music.
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right?
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace.
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.
Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song?
At first glance you could OOTD this is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. The album is called VersuS VillainS, which makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, maybe it's about useless instagram fashion-influencers posting videos of their outfit of the day, which also promotes fast fashion.
The fact that fashion is moving ever faster makes it the most destructive industry to the planet only outdone by the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up.
The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra (arch enemy backwards) account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback.
It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. And Handong standing in front of the camera with bruises all over her legs seems to be a comment on the merciless industry as well.
The music is highly interesting as well. The Rock is dirty and distorted. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is funk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.
They have their own variety show "Dreamcatcher Mind" on TH-cam.
Dreamcatcher does not belong to what we call Big 3 (SM, YG, JYP) or Big 4 if you count HYBE. Their consistent rock/metal sound is not a mainstream genre in Korea, so they have built their local fanbase with a lot of effort since their re-debut in 2017, on the contrary, they are much more popular outside Korea being the first Korean band to be invited to Primavera Sound in Spain in 2022. Rolling Stone magazine named them as "The Face of Rock in Kpop" thanks to their musical influence and in Korea they are known as "Master of Concept" for their interesting concepts from Nightmare Series, Dystopia Trilogy, Apocalypse Trilogy and their most recent Versus Duology.
As you may have noticed, although their main tracks focus on fusing different genres with rock (symphonic, speed metal, metalcore, numetal, moombahton), in their bsides we can find other styles such as ballad, city pop, jazz, reggae, EDM, R&B, among others.
And, as I mentioned earlier, not being owned by any of the major companies in the kpop industry has hurt Dreamcatcher in terms of appearances on variety shows or other programs that kpop groups normally go to. However, they have had the opportunity to visit Weekly Idol a couple of times, as well as have been invited to Red Velvet's Wendy and Mamamoo's Moonbyul shows at the time.
For the past 8 years (10 years if you count their previous project as MINX), they have been working hard to showcase their singing and dancing skills with strong performances around the world.
Dreamcatcher is a group worth following, not only for their incredible discography and performances, but also for their wonderful personalities and passion for being on stage.
You really have found some of the best groups. Look into KARD. If you don’t know them I think you will be pleasantly surprised with their composition of members.

Handong is Chinese. The rest are Korean. For Scream and Boca and some of the other clips, Handong had to go back to China and so during the Scream and Boca videos they had a dancer sit in for Handong as the 7th member and they were wearing a mask....
