Thanks Jack. That video helped me out. I wish all informative type videos were as quick and to the point as yours. You gave all the info needed without a bunch of commentary. Well done.
My fav way is taking a water taxi. That way you don't have to go into the tunnel which smells of exhaust. I only fly with carry on luggage so it's never a problem. Boston is a beautiful city!
To clarify, the Silver Line from the Airport is free, but costs the normal fare ($2.40) if you pick it up anywhere else, including going back to the Airport. As the video says, the Silver Line takes you as far as South Station, where you can transfer to the Red Line of the subway system, and from there you can transfer to the Orange Line one short stop away or the Green Line two short stops away. So long as you don't exit any subway turnstiles or one-way gates, all subway transfers are free once you get inside the system, which can get you as far as Route 95 at the western and southern extremes.
Im staying at the hyatt by the harbor, what side is the downtown boston called please? When i try to book a ferry I could not recognize the names of areas? Thnx
Great video... Landing in Logan at 6.30 pm from Europe.. I Think the Logan Express Will fit my needs - but where do I buy a ticket for the ride to Back Bay Station ??
OMG. 😳 In your voice I'm hearing the old Boston accent which I know and love transitioning into the Great Lakes Cities/Inland North Cities accent which to me sounds like fingernails on a blackboard 😖 Good explanation of our options though! 👏
if you are staying in Boston you really dont need a car nor would i recommend getting one if T is available to your destinations But if your going from logan to outside of the boston area that's a different animal
Hello, coming in a couple of weeks flying into Logan and staying at the north end with two small rolling luggage. what is the least complicated way to get there? I've been told to take the blue line train from airport. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks You.
hi Louis try this more than likely it will be the blue line or silver out of the airport and connecting to red or green depending on actual destination if needed. i would avoid the city buses. if possible but that my preference only www.mbta.com/trip-planner
I am flying into Logan terminal A and connecting for an international flight in terminal E. Can you walk there ? I heard there's a bus that goes to all the terminals but trying to avoid security re checks!!!! This is a first time to Boston Logan!!!
We are two young females arriving Logan airport at midnight. Could anyone advise the safest way travel to downtown hotel at Washington Street at such late hours from Logan Airport?

I used to live in Eastie. Loved taking the blue line to aquarium and hitting the bars and the North End for some specialty groceries.
Simple and informative. Thank you!

Logan airport to Savin Hill area? Best way on a 7 pm flight arrival.
Silver line to South Station. Red line to Savin Hill.
Thanks Jack! I'm guessing the water taxi goes by the aquarium? What the best way to get to the airport? Wish you had a "one day in Boston" video....
Good job, Jack.

Good point. I think just inside or from bus driver. I should double check that.
Any suggestions for a cheap but decent hotel in downtown Boston or near the Airport?

You'll need to take the bus and go thru security again.
How to get from airport to Watertown city by bus or subway?
Silver Line to South Station, change for the Red Line toward Alewife, get off at Harvard and take the #71 bus towards Watertown Square
