Got to say, Being a Bostonian, I'm loving ATW Boston Vids!! You could spend months here there's so much to do & video. You surely got your steps in on this video, you covered some serious ground! And you were suppose to get a cannoli at Mike's, thats what they are famous for! Please, Keep these Boston videos coming Adam!! add on, The Seaport area is the big coming area now, used to be parking lots and big old mill buildings and the train yard. The seaport is its own city within a city.
the Milk Bottle is part of the Children museum. It is open in the summer as an ice cream store. It was built years ago in a different location by Arthur Gagner to sell his ice cream. After being abandoned, folks in Boston got Hood Milk to buy it and donate in to the Library. Its Hoods, be good.
Love seeing my town from someone else's perspective! Next time you're in the city check out the New England Aquarium! The seals are out front and you can see them for free.
I grew up in Boston and got dragged to Denver Colorado 23 years ago You went over the Lenny Zekem bridge which is a bridge named after the forementioned who was a huge philanthropist in the Boston area and died of brain cancer. The bridge is lit up at night which is beautiful I followed your adventures through saugus and Malden yesterday in Medford brought back some great memories for me I really miss my home
Loved this Video.. I took my wife to the oyster house for our wedding anniversary. The food was unreal .. we sat on the second floor. Also ate at Mikes and the one across the street also to see Paul Revere’s house in the rain. Love that part of town. Great memories, thanks Adam
That Starbucks is refered to as the steaming kettle. It used to be a old tea house long before Starbucks took it over. There was actually a huge fight by people to keep it up there. When they first opened the location they wanted to thanks it down because they have to run a water line up there and maintain it to keep that going all the time.
The Lobster tail 🦞 pastry is supposed to be like that ,crunchy outer shell & soft white "lobstermeat" looking cream filling, that was the perfect example of a Lobstertail pastry
I was just going to say that. The Lobster Tail is supposed to be crisp and crunchy outside. When going to Mike's though, you really should have gone for the canoli. That's what they're really famous for. Them and Modern Pastry up the street "compete" for the best in town. When I say compete, I really mean that people always compare and pit them against each other. Also, you briefly showed the Paul Revere statue in the video but if you looked back behind it, its the Old North Church. The church where Paul Revere arranged to have the lanterns hung up in the steeple to warn against the British arriving in the city. "One if by Land, Two if by Sea."
Love when you travel and show us the places I may never see love Boston but never been! Thank you for showing us the cheers! Would love to see that some time! Thank you Adam for the vlog
@TheDailyWoo it's so cool that you are in my neck of the woods. My gf and I have watched you since the beginning! It's so cool to see you at the FAO Bear. That hospital is my 'home away form home'. I've had 38 surgeries (im physically disabled) there, and my girlfriend worked there! Keep up the great work! Would love to meet you sometime!
Love that the title is “unusual spots” and it begins with a Boston-area Dunkin. The irony is strong with this one. Yessssss. Yesssss. You want this. Great vid as always Adam!
Yeah the only thing that might be considered unusual in that is the bookstore with the outside area. I love just browsing through and seeing what gem there might be.
BOSTON really is amazing, a lot of America's History came through there. Most of New England is pretty Cool. Check out Rhode Island sometime. Providence has a lot of old history to share. Great Vlog, Adam ! Thank You !
You MUST go to the Boston aquarium, Faneuil hall (walking distance from the aquarium), and take a trip to Apex entertainment in Marlborough. Apex is a massive indoor arcade, goats, axe throwing etc
The Lobster tail pastry wasn't "stale". It's supposed to be crispy. If it's soft it's soggy. To keep it fresh, the filing shouldn't be piped into it until it's purchased. I've never had one with chocolate on it. My fav pastry. I miss Boston. Enjoyed watching your video of my old stomping ground.
My fathers family lives in Revere Peabody and Lynne. It used to take us 6 hours from upstate NY to Revere before I 84 and the Mass Pike. Should take you 4 hours from NYC to Boston on I 95. You were making my mouth water eating the pastries. Bet they were good. Enjoyed the video . Thanks for sharing.
I love these videos! It's good to break away from theme parks and branch out around the country. You have to stop in Rhode Island some day. Newport has a lot to check out.
if you look up the history on that massive steaming tea pot over Starbucks it's very interesting :) Also those ducks in the park have a children's book about them. Love all the history in s such a great city!
Love this place , the dunkin is in Medford, Ma , I work outta there sometimes.. I also park at Boston commons all the time to venture Boston … been to cheers n stuff.. was a big sitcom for a lot of people .. I was amazed by the Tupperware history and was created right here in mass , Leominster,Mass .. such a good visit and video.. 💪❤️💯
I know hanging out with you and Derek would be a great time. I wish there was a map in a corner of this one. I've read Robert B. Parker "Spenser" novels for decades, but whenever I'm in Boston, I'm always a little turned around, not really sure where things are in relation to each other. Great video, Adam!
The FAO Shwartz was located in Copley Sq (closer to Arlington station off the green line) at 440 Boylston St. I went there a couple of times when it was open back in the day, just to browse. As for the Milk Bottle, thats been there for about 40 years. I remember seeing it as a kid, when I used to go to the Children's Museum. Hood is the brand name- local milk brand. It might be a seasonal cafe, that's why it was closed. Also you were in the area for many shooting locations for Blown Away. You are also kinda close to some shooting locations for Karate Kid 4, if you are interested. They shot some scenes in the town of Brookline at the high school. Brookline is also the home of JFK and Conan O'Brien. Regarding the Chinatown area where you mentioned that a theater could have been there- that area was known as the Combat Zone , where you had a lot of adult theaters/peep shows back in the day. Also the Tea party boat is not the actual one. The real one was much larger if I remember my history correctly. I'm not sure how long you are staying, but I can recommend other areas to visit if you are interested.
That used to be the Palace Theater where the Navy kept a paddy wagon out front every Friday and Saturday night. Jay Leno played there. Never saw him but they had some really good jazz music at that time. Close by used to be Charles Steet, a little annex next to the Prince Spaghetti House on Washington Street. They had much better-looking dancers who would join you at the bar. I was still underage then.
My brother lived in Hartford in the early 80’s. I visited him once and we spent the night in Boston. We visited that bar and had a beer. The name of the bar was The Bull and Finch. I’m surprised that there’s no sign showing that. The Freedom Trail is an amazing walk.
Only Adam's video's you will capture squirrels doing the most strangest things . EX: walking on top of a hedge, eating a PB & J in WDW & many more other thingggs.
I was looking forward to watching this with the Cheers bar, as I love Frasier 😄 but my favourite parts ended up being squirrels, bronze ducks and a turtle kite lol 😄 had this playing again in the background while doing stuff, and noticed the sound of some children happily saying 'cheese' for a photo when you were by the ducks, so cute! 😊
Hey Adam! Met you in Boston Last year at a Red Sox game...You were nice enough to take a picture with my kids who are fans of you as well. Glad to see you back in the city!
Hood makes a Pumpkin Eggnog that my Mom is crazy about. However, here in TN, she begins the annual search around September but doesn't find it often. Would be really cool to order a beverage or snack from their giant milk bottle!
I forget, what was the original name of the "Cheers" bar? Wasn't it Bulfinch or something? Enjoyed your video like usual. "The Embrace" is a powerful work of art. Those Penny Farthing bikes must be hard to ride. I live two doors down from one of the Schwarz grandchildren. He's in his 70s.
Adam. My friend. So close to gold. You travel from celebration and your standing in mikes pastry. But you don’t get a cannoli? Wow. You were so close man. Ahhahaha
Now that was A Squirrel😍being from the North East, living in FL...I’ve always said the Squirrels look Sickly here!!! They are So scrawny and have the thinnest tails! Now that I saw that one, I remember that’s how they should look
I really enjoyed this video on this beautiful and historical city. The best part of the video was the cream on Adam's face. Classic Woo. Thanks for sharing.
Oh man!! I had the BEST donut at Dunkin’s in Salem!!! We loved cheers and loved the food (but I do love bar food) Glad you’re doing these great videos!!!
Grew up watching that series and happy I got to visit the place back in 2008. Had a piece of boston cream pie along with, of course, a beer in a souvenir mug. Boston was a really nice looking place and a offered a great day trip from NYC.
Have you been to the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa CA? They had an FAO Schwartz there last time I checked. Also have the Rainforest Cafe. Not been in many years but grew up in the area and was there before the mall was built.
I don't know if you're going through Baltimore on your way back home, but the old pub here reminded me of the Horse You Came In On Saloon, which is the last place that Edgar Allan Poe was before passing away. The place has been in operation since 1775. I've seen your old video from there, but wouldn't mind seeing a more in depth look at the place. I plan on going there at some point and having a shot for Poe
You are saying Saugus correctly. The dinosauer and rhe hippo were part of a miniture golf place that used to be there. We live in Clermont now, so it was good to see our old home town. ps keep up the good work on your losing weight. Love your channel. The squarrels get big this time of year for the winters are hard on them.
Excellent video, Adam! My hometown! So happy you made it up here again. Food is delicious, people are friendly, sites galore! Too much to see, so, y'all come back now, ya hear?!
I seen you at the cheers bar, I didn’t want to bother you. I’m a big fan. I just started my own channel, but I only do it on a part time basis. Love your videos!
Loving these videos. Trying to guess where you are going next!
lol me too, but Adam is very spontaneous, you never know until you actually see him
Hey Adam will you be doing the prudential building today.
Adam go to the Paul Revere house and The Freedom Trail if you have time 😁
Sorry I haven’t watched your entire video yet
Everything that's preserved from two to three centuries ago is amazing! Not just preserved, but still active! Living history!
Got to say, Being a Bostonian, I'm loving ATW Boston Vids!! You could spend months here there's so much to do & video. You surely got your steps in on this video, you covered some serious ground! add on, The Seaport area is the big coming area now, used to be parking lots and big old mill buildings and the train yard. The seaport is its own city within a city.
Great video. It was so interesting for me to see the Cheers bar etc. This is still my favourite serial. Thanks Adam.👍

Love seeing my town from someone else's perspective! Next time you're in the city check out the New England Aquarium! The seals are out front and you can see them for free.

Passed by it every day for years. Starbucks f s everything up.
Nice touring of Boston, specially Cheer's. Love all of the scenery that you showed. Thanks you again, Adam.
While you're in New England you need to go to New Hampshire and go to fun spot. It's a big arcade, old and new games, you will love it.
I don’t want the world to see Laconia representing NH
Love seeing Boston through your eyes,Adam.Enjoy your visit!
Love seeing my home town of Boston this week. Enjoy New England, Adam!
Hello Deborah
My hometown, thanks for the great memories Adam!
Hello Lynn
Awesome video. I have always wanted to travel to Boston. This was great! Thank you!
You should do the Freedom Trail, start at Bunker Hill and weave your way through town.
I loved Boston back in Late September last year man it was actually very good and it's a more "charming" NYC.
I found NYC very cold and the people rude. Boston has it all over the BIg Apple! xo
@Merely I like Boston and NYC all the way but oh man Boston feels kinda nicer then "NYC" lol.
Miss and love Boston! Appreciate this vlog 💖
The Lobster tail 🦞 pastry is supposed to be like that ,crunchy outer shell & soft white "lobstermeat" looking cream filling, that was the perfect example of a Lobstertail pastry
There were a lot better choices like a chocolate eclair. Oh, man do I miss those.

Can't wait for the Christmas videos I'm ready to see some interesting Christmas lights.
Did you go through the Tea Party experience? You can’t film in the museum, but it’s definitely worth going through.

If you're still in town feel free to stop by the MIT radio station this afternoon ... 142 Memorial Dr in Cambridge (in the basement)
Go M.I.T.!
You MUST go to the Boston aquarium, Faneuil hall (walking distance from the aquarium), and take a trip to Apex entertainment in Marlborough. Apex is a massive indoor arcade, goats, axe throwing etc
ATW: "Think about it, JLo went right through this drive thru."
Not sure what the big deal is.... many, many men have been through JLo's drive thru.
Almost as many as have been through Ben’s
Love the history, reminds me of Philadelphia history walking around when I was a kid on vacation with my grandparents. Really awesome!
Yeah he should've got the original lobster tail without the chocolate. Yummy they are delicious
My fathers family lives in Revere Peabody and Lynne. It used to take us 6 hours from upstate NY to Revere before I 84 and the Mass Pike. Should take you 4 hours from NYC to Boston on I 95. Something was wrong with it . It was stale
Should have gone to Modern bakery, their lobster tails are delicious
25:23 They were all British at that point. 😂 What they actually said was “The Regulars are coming!” 😉
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Mr Woo.. Originally from Portsmouth RI and visited Cheers in 1997 ..loved it!🌄🏞️🐻
Did you used to make Fluffernutters with the Marshmallow Fluff? I haven’t had one of those in years.
What an exciting day. You saw a lot of great places in Boston. I would love to go to the Cheers Bar someday.
Hello Melissa
I love these videos! It's good to break away from theme parks and branch out around the country. You have to stop in Rhode Island some day. Newport has a lot to check out.

At 25:04 is the Custom House which was the tallest building in Boston for almost 50 years.
Closer to 24:55.
My Gramma used to read me Make Way for Ducklings when I was little :) So cool to see you tour Boston. I live right in between Providence and Boston.
So cool, you saw so much ! Next time get the tiramisu ❤

I like the coffee blog great video 👍
Very enjoyable blog 👌 thank you!

14:49 The Hood Bottle is usually open in the summer. I believe to the right is the Boston Children’s Museum.

The big milk bottle was the best!! Yes that old court house they also read aloud the declaration of independence from there.
Never been to Boston! Looks like a cool city! Love the history!
My brother lived in Hartford in the early 80’s. I visited him once and we spent the night in Boston. We visited that bar and had a beer. The name of the bar was The Bull and Finch. I’m surprised that there’s no sign showing that. The Freedom Trail is an amazing walk.
Adam have you ever gone to The Original Dunkin’ Donuts up there? That would be cool to see!
Yes I did last year
Always get the cannoli, Adam!
I can't argue with that. Mike's a great place for a sugar rush.
Only Adam's video's you will capture squirrels doing the most strangest things . EX: walking on top of a hedge, eating a PB & J in WDW & many more other thingggs.
And it fittingly ends with: "I found Nemo!" Classic Woo-ism at its best. Take care, my friend. Really loving these off-the-cuff vids.
Gosh, I haven't been to Boston and that area since the early 1980s. Want to go back but never have! Thanks for the video.
Ty for going into Cheers!!
I keep seeing that Pumpkin Eggnog at Shaw's but I always get the regular one. Now I am curious and will get one this week! xo
@@Merely Hope you like it! :)
Lobster tail up at Petty's in Altamonte. Always fantastic, the chocolate coating is much.

Adam. My friend. So close to gold. You travel from celebration and your standing in mikes pastry. But you don’t get a cannoli? Wow. You were so close man. Ahhahaha
the Cheers stop was cool with the gift shop, it was like a museum, I had family that lived in Boston, a cousin, but never been there
Thanks Adam. Hope your liking Boston, my neck of the woods.
If in the furture you ever get the chance, visit Quincy it's not far from Boston and is the city of presidents, The Adams -2 and 6th Presidents. Lots of history there , the Crypt where they are buried, the mansion and birth places, the flagship Dunkin Donuts and so much more. Ty TDW for visiting the beautiful state of Massachusetts and showing some places i have not yet seen, as a native born resident.
Adam! You need your go back to the North End and get a cannoli from Mikes. Also get one from Modern across the street.
I believe the green monster ball shows the scoreboard from the 2004 ALCS game 4.
Correct! nice catch!
The Cheers bar is awesome. My favorite parts of Boston was the Cheers bar, Fenway Park and walking around and taking in the sights. There used to be another Cheers location at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. It's now permanently closed. I have been there many times including the Cheers bar. The food is great as well. “I found Nemo!” Wicked Pissah!
Delicious Burgers & Sandwiches, and the smell of wet paint 😂 Cheers 👍
Thank you for another trip with you .
Awesome video Adam. Didn’t know there was an FAO Schwartz in Boston either. Really cool to see the Boston tea party site. Safe travels Adam.
North End. My favorite. Weird vibe, excellent food, nice people.
I love Boston! I've only been for one week on vacation in 2010. But it is one of my favorite places. I enjoyed this very much.
Making your way in the world today takes everything you got
Oh man!! I had the BEST donut at Dunkin’s in Salem!!! We loved cheers and loved the food (but I do love bar food)
Glad you’re doing these great videos!!!
Love you Adam thanks for the vid ❤
Thanks for the great time. Stay safe and be careful there. God bless

In my mid 40s and still make Fluffernutter sandwiches. Mikes Pastry is fantastic.
There is a gaint milk bottle building similar to the one in your video in Spokane Washington.
awesome day in Boston
Cheers, what a great show ! 😎👍
Hood is the major milk distributor in Boston and the surrounding areas. My dad worked for them when i was born in 1954
You're so close! Enjoy your time here.
You are saying Saugus correctly. The dinosauer and rhe hippo were part of a miniture golf place that used to be there. We live in Clermont now, so it was good to see our old home town.

“The Embrace” has mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it. If you ask me, They should have just made them embracing as regular statues!
