Presonus has been winning every damn sound comparison I've heard thus far 🤔 Good thing I made the right choice when I purchased. When you hear that switch up, its so crisp and clearer than the rest. The Krk is nice, but Presonus has really stepped up here. I think it pulled this one off.
Presonus arre better monitors for mixing, definatley. They are true. Krk may be better for listening, have sliight higher highs and more bass, but lacks mid range. All down to personal preference in the end.
In Canada a pair will have Can$120 difference Eris for $300/pair and KRK Rokit 5 RP5G3 goes for $420.Eris proved to be more balance across the frequency spectrum and more balanced response,I Believed KRKs should drop their price for these almost inferior rokits, they sounded so coloured on the lows and very weak on the mids.I would only consider these rokits if they're at the same price range or below of other brand's competing models.
obviously krk has lively sound, much bass but more clear in rock music. My Hivi Swan D1010 MKII seemd not work today after I install a light belt for my desk. lol.
rokit is a very well known brand since a long time, it is strange but i like the smooth and warmth side from the eris, i don't know if i make a mistake but that's my feeling, i think i'll probably buy presonus. i'm not a specialist but they sound "deeper" i will say. any opinions on this ?
That's also how I hear them. The KRK also sounds a bit more airy while the Presonus is a bit warmer. Both sound good, though. I think the choice would come down to personal preference and price.
Okay, I'm begging to hear more adequate midrange and overall balance and clarity from the Presonus, suitable for Jazz, Classical and more native instruments.. KRK's have more bias on bass and treble but somehow muted midrange, in a way... is it just me..??
Krks especially rokit 5. Won't be popular for nothing. I think their big bodies give them enough room for bass to recreate a more natural sound. Altho i find presonus flatter, i think its easy to mix with them.
I wonder how much of a difference there would be between Logitech z333 and these/other studio monitors. Is there anything we’re missing out on with no dedicated sub or is the quality difference between studio monitors and the z333s that big
The comparison needs a dance track that uses a lot of percussion to get a better feel. In that Dream song I heard the guitar sort of muffle but it was not from one speaker to next compare, it happened in same speaker so i guess they are fading the rhythmic guitar in and out. If i heard a song with a lot of percussive instruments I could better sense the difference.
Heres the catch22 of this video. Either I own one or the other and I'll only hear this sound test out of one vs the other.... Or I can only hear it from my phone or laptop speakers and that doesn't give me enough clarity to make an informed decision
A lot of people who tested it or owned it can vouch for the credibility of the audio presented here.Although if in doubt you can listen to it yourself if you can lend one from a friend or just visit your local music store.I wouldn't have known about how good the presonus eris series if it wasn't for this channel's comparison.
Hi..........I have a home studio...... Which one you think would suit me best for music production ....presonus e5 or jbl g4. Because I don't have much experience about studio monitors........ kindly tell me.
for me it'd be the E5s, almost all JBLs tend to be bass heavy and it's not good for referencing or monitoring sounds. you will always want to have a flat response monitors. enjoy your music producer life xDDD
If you could say: "that speaker sounds more like this and has more of that" DO NOT pause it then scroll down... YES, YOU CAN'T HEAR THE DIFFERENCE. I'm not saying that KRK is bad nor the Presonus. my point is reference speakers will always have a flat response.
bro ...... for example ...... if you hear on your speaker the T5V and then you hear the HS5 ..... yes you can tell that the HS5 has a bump in the mids !! ;)

KRK has little more details and clearness in Low mid. But it is not a balanced sound. Detail and Clear wise - KRK
Balance wise - Presonus
Good comparison, presonus is better to flat frequencies and not exceed low and high
Presonus is darker and more muddy. But overall both KRK and Presonus are amazing!
KRK slightly more highs, wider mids, E5's mids get lost in the bass sometimes but the bass is punchier.
Presonus for the win!
Agree
Correct me if im wrong -I can hear lack of mid frequency for KRK....
You’re right,and a little too much bass
Thought it was just me. It hardly had any mid range freq. 🤷🏾
absolutely right, i can here it, thank you

PRESONUS tem mais grave

It is clear as day that vocals are way smoother on the E5.
Presonus, thicker, fuller sound that is warm. ....wich i like. But i really like the yellow color too.
The vocals sound so much better on the KRK's
obviously krk has lively sound, much bass but more clear in rock music. My Hivi Swan D1010 MKII seemd not work today after I install a light belt for my desk. lol.

Eris
sorry KRK , RP6 or RP10-3 maybe , but RP5 not
Very close each other but KRK have little bit more high frequencies while Presonus mid's
That's also how I hear them. The KRK also sounds a bit more airy while the Presonus is a bit warmer.
Both sound good, though. I think the choice would come down to personal preference and price.
KRK Rokit 4 RP4G3 vs Presonus 4.5 anyone?

is it comparable? I'm also interested in it
Yeah, I think presonus is more determined and clearer
Presonus nails the looks so much
what is the song in DEEP genre?
When i close my eyes and listen to it I am not able to make out the transition, but when I watch it, I am able to . Why this ?
can you make an audio comparison of the yamaha ns10 with the yamaha hs5 please !? Thank you!
Presonus is better for mixing? (electronic music)
they are the flatist speaker’s in this price range, so to answer your question you can mix any Genre of music on them.

Well, it was!
wich sound sweeter on the tweeter?

eris e5 is best for me rokit sounds so warm i listened rokit 6 before
Presonus ga a better balance on ALL frequencys, correcto balance, krk so much exagerate mids and low mids bass to

KRK better soundstage, warmer, E5's are flatter - so depends on your requirements :-)
yeah krk sounds so warm
Do presonus for making music and krk for listening music
@@wm1573 that is my personal opinion, yes. I have had the E5's for some time now and have no complaints
Presonus more flat KRK more natural sounding IMO

Fluance Ai40 vs Fluance Ai60 vs Kanto YU6 vs Аudioengine a5+
Kanto YU6 may happen this autumn. No chance for Fluance test though
Presonus a bit dull but maybe it's better for mixing?
KRK better low frequencies
krk los otros son muy mediosos a mi gusto
Surprised by this, Presonus wins for me (and its cheaper!)
Presonus wins for me.
Agree, It's more flat
So you listen the sound of speakers on TH-cam (with the youtube compression) using your speakers/headphones connected to your computer?

How you can do comparison between two different studio monitors in youtube ??? !!! How many incompetent music producers have in this world...
Rokits are over priced
Don't trust you
