This iPad Air pretty much makes the iPad Pro obsolete unless you need Lidar on the camera or really want Pro Motion (120Hz display). This is THE best iPad to get, and great to see they kept the same $599 ($749 CAD) entry level point!
PS. If you are torn on the colour, this BLUE one is THE BESTTTTT blue Apple has made!

Love the blue too. I have the mini in starlight and if I didn’t have that color already, I would have grabbed the air in starlight. But the blue is beautiful. Green is actually my favorite color, but like you, it was too pastel last year. I did grab the green pro 13 though.

I just got mine today.. LOVE the Blue! Bought a clear case so I could see it. My iPhone is blue too. Again a clear case with sparkle so I can see the color..lI do wish 128 was offered. I got the 256. I take soooo many pictures. Can't wait to get my pencil.
with 256 gigs of storage i think the pro 11 inch would have been a better alternative because u can get a better display and some other features for a small price gap . am i wrong ?

Definitely go with the blue if possible the blue looks darker blue and tbh for me as well when I seen the event and that blue in promoting videos it looks pale but when I seen it in store I got 2nd thoughts. I’m definitely going with the blue and make sure it’s 256gb
I saw both space grey and blue in store. I’d say Blue looks more premium and fresh. Didn’t like the blue last year cause it looks more grayish/silvery. Cant wait for mine to arrive. 🥶

Man i wish they would make an ipad pro in pacific blue, as well as a matching apple pencil in blue.
Dang if it was a 128 this would of been a perfect, but apple knew that so it wouldn't compete with the pro. Still bought the 64g blue one as i just need it as a light portable tablet to do some light work on the go.

I got both BLUES. 64GB iPad Air last year now needed more storage 256GB more RAM. In 5G. The pro is too much features I wouldn’t use. Got same accessories that I can still use.

Brought the iPad Pro 2021 9 days ago with a pretty shitty finance deal but thought, ah well fuck it. iPad Air comes out a week later with an amazing deal so I’ve sent the pro back in return for that. I only use it to watch TH-cam/crunchy/Disney plus ect so I don’t think I’ll miss the 120hz pro motion. Tho it is a nice feature. Will see what it’s like when it turns up tomorrow! I’ve also ordered the blue

Definitely consider the new air if you want something new and fresh. But don't scoff at the entry level iPad! You can save a lot and effectively have a very similar experience with what you're looking to get done!
