    For some reason, I love it that your most used IEM isn't the one with the highest score but the one that you just like the most despite other IEM being technically better. That resonates with me and shows how honest you are!

      I second that. And also the price point - whivh isn't cheap for a good amount of people interested in the hobby and music listening, but its still a very accessible price. The comparison chart at the end is very much appreciated.

      Same here.
      I keep falling back on my Simgot ea500lm despite having more expensive and more detailed IEMs. They’re comfy, enjoyable listening, I end up listening for hours for most genres!

    I love watching these because it reminds me how much of an insane value the MP145 is. I don’t know if the 5 to 8 additional points/rating would make a big enough difference to be worth the exponential price increase.

    Excellent review Andy, I wish there were more iem options that gave the neutral response like the HD600, especially in the pinna gain area. Most of Chifi offerings have too much in the ear gain area for my tastes.

    I love lots of music on your test list! Will definitely expand mine with. Btw, I also like to add lots of extreme Metal to my test music, from bassy technical death to trebly early black metal. 🤟I find that a dense noisy music is often very difficult to reproduce via earphones to have both, impact and resolution. Cheers.

      @catslover4745 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@donglemadness Ah alright thanks for the reply. Cause I've heard the MK3 is also very versatile in terms of all genres. Once again thanks for the amazing review

    • @catslover4745
      @catslover4745 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure who this might help but I had the opportunity to listen to both the IO volare and the monarch mk 3 using w1 spinfit, silicons and foam tips. I listen to a variety of genre from rock to jpop to classical to jazz. The IO volare sounded too thin but wide sounding. I didn't really hear a difference when changing to different tips but based on my experience different songs will affect the IEM. Artemas - i like the way you kiss me sounded really nice with it's wide sounding and nice bass and smooth vocal but for other songs could be a hit or miss. MK3 sounded much more fuller and the bass is more forward. I've thrown different kind of song to it and it just sounded fuller and energetic but not as wide as the IO volare.
      I would like to thank red ape audio for letting me try both of them. I'm not so technical with this hobby just like to listen and dance to my music so I might say some wrong stuff but this is based on my experience.

      I wouldn't get the IE600. In my experience the sharp treble doesn't work well with hiphop and jazz songs.
      I haven't tried this IO so can't comment on that. Some IEMs I prefer over the IE600 for these genres are the Penon 10th Anniversary, Xenns Up and Monarch Mmk3 (it's above budget, but you can find it used for ~750).
      They all have great bass for hiphop and good technical performance for complex Jazz passages.
