Sub $600 is amazing so far this year. I'm sure the kilobucks will have some special sauce still, but i think this is where it's at from a performance/value perspective. And the Da Vinci will likely be the market breaker if they performs as well as the early impressions make them out to be. Mega5-EST, Hype 4, this Elysian, Dusk, etc. Let's gooooo
Hei Dave! Another great review. Congrats! I already own the Performer 8 (love it!!) and was interested in buying the Pilgrim. Do you think they complement each other or there is too much overlap? If you think the overlapping between them is a thing, which IEM could work as a complement to the Performer 8 at this price range? I’m also considering the EM10.
So basically you are calling Timmy insane...yours and his reviews are claiming totally different ballparks for this iem's tech. He is saying it's as resolving as 1000 dollar plus endgames and you are saying that it hardly wizzes pass studio 4?!
Oh, sweet you got your hands on a Pilgrim. I managed to demo them at Canjam SG and I pretty much have the same comments as you did; The tuning was very Elysian but the technicalities, for me at least, leaves a lot to be desired, especially at this competitive price point. The Pilgrim, along with the Performer 8, Dunu DaVinci, and Moondrop DUSK, were on my top demo priorities during the event, and I ultimately settle with the DaVinci with its uber meaty bass response and fantastic mid-range which is actually reminiscent of the Binary x Gizaudio Chopin. The Performer 8 came in 2nd with its really relaxing but still very musical presentation, while the Pilgrim tied with the DUSK. I hope you'll get your hands on a DUSK because I would love to hear your thoughts. I personally am really torn on them due to the DSP Cable situation; using the analog cable it's not much different than the Blessing 3 its "based on" but using the DSP cable, while superbly natural, does come across really boring. Great video as always. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers
Another great video, Dave. I was wondering if you will be reviewing the mega5est. Seems like it fits your preferences especially within this price range. Would love to hear what you think of it.
If we are talking about above mid-fi, upgrading from the Studio 4, which IEM do you consider as the endgame path? Likewise, which IEM would you consider as the endgame upgrade path if coming from the Pilgrim?
Hey thanks for the review! I'm considering this over the SA6 mk2 for something U shaped, and I know you consider the SA6 to be a very solid set. How do you think these two compare in terms of bass performance and vocal presence? Thanks again!
Always loving your production value, also the review it's really good, easy on the top of reviewers. Hope the DaVinci comes soon, they one it's on the top of my list atm
Hi Dave which one have the best Sub Bass or something else that you can recommend , oriveti oh700vb , i worry other sets dose not have the P8 natural tone give me , Studio 4 is not for me , l like bass specially Sub Bass .
Great review. Positive. Perhaps a little too much so. I thought bass was a bit slow, there was some bass bleed and congestion into the low mids and mids not so natural. Maybe I need to revisit the pilgrim.
Iem with low mid bass are perfect for medium volumes. Once they cross my loud concert volumes. They sound thin. So for me. I need mid bass and taimed treble and upper mids
Naa.. Ur gizmate, timy, his new colab just better then this.. Yup Dunu Da Vinci..anyway gd 1 but Annihilator Still kings frm em.. Btw elysian acoustic lab is frm my country Malaysia.. Ha4.. Peace!
That shell is beautiful, very unique indeed when most have this "galaxy" pasted on the faceplate. Also finally Elysian that i could afford, but i just picked up the Yanyin Canon 2....
Need comparison between Pilgrim and Hype 4
Awesome video. Glad to see Elysian is releasing a more affordable product. The question is are their QC better this time around? 🤔
Yep, this is the real question.
Your b-roll is out of this world. Fantastic script, attention to detail and... the review itself. Great! Thank you Dave.
💯 agree 😊
THAT is what you got out of this video? :)
Wait. I just realized you are the other person who occasionally posts on gizaudio's channel.

I need to know how this compares to the I\O Volare! The graph looks almost the same. It would be great if i could save 200$
How does it compare with Thieaudio hype 4?
around this price, should i go for this ones or the thieaudio hype 4?

Da VINKY?!? :0
I still think the Pula PA02 are a diamond of a set.
Underrated AF if the pula was priced at $500 all these price driven reviewers would say is the best under $500
It is a really good looking set. I'm holding until the Dunu DaVinci is released. Great review!

Mid-Range get a lot of comments on this pair. Pretty sure that's where Pilgrim Noir enter the game. Thanks for the qualitative review!
It’s released and $400
Weight?
The is a beautiful set!

Awesome review, just a small thing you got a bit wrong is, that the housing ist stainless
Is this iem a whole lot better than Tanchjim Origin?
Really looking forward to the release. The design is pretty awesome!
seems like this sounds like a Mest MK 1
Great review and sounds like a very good iem 👌
Was going Aurora but now not sure

No this is the standard version. Noir would be black in color
