Gave these a try and I completely agree with your findings. Not too bright, not too warm, engaging enough, musical and fun. Love the looks and feet. Well...OF COURSE I DO, THIS IS MEZE AFTER ALL!

How do these compare to the Kato? I recently got the Kato and didn’t like them. They are sharp and grainy in the upper midrange. Timbre didn’t sound natural.
Are the alba better in timbre and not sharp like the Kato?

How are these for trance, rock/metal, pop, electronica, classical ect... ? I listen to a wide range of genres. I like detailed, wide, punchy and a little warm sound. It must be enganging and musical. Not Fatigue. And of course comfortable. The most comfort iems ive had, is the beyerdynamic xelento. A good iem. But to pricey

Do you think these will fit someone with smaller ear canals ? Usually on the smallest eartips for most chifi IEMs and thats even a stretch lol

Yes, they will. I have smaller ear canals as well and I used the second size eartips, the smallest ones were too loose for me.

Too much? Not at all. Svanar are too much, a few balanced-armature based IEMs can be too much. These are extended but without becoming fatiguing or bright.

I hope you mentioned they are made in China.. that helps with the cost.. so your face can save a few contortions. IT's not that special.

To me, it's not important where these are made, planet Earth is good enough for me. A high-quality build is more important than the origin.

@@Soundnews Oh I agree... that is not my point... made in China is fine, the cost is more affordable because of that... interpret how you will it is just economics and cost of labor(which tends to be a bit cheaper over there) I love chi fi all day ...
