Among the 8 IEMs I tested the other day, 2 stood out the most. The QTX and the other that I won't mention. And I only tried out the QTX for a couple of minutes
Rose Technics, making some solid products, recieved some of their products, testing them. And I was impressed as well. QTX looks like a complete package, nice review Andy.
Can you please make a video about which iems do you recommend for listening to metal? Sharing your thoughts on what makes an iem good for metal, driver type, tuning etc. Thank you
Frankly, I find it difficult to justify these IEM's prices when the competition can deliver exceptional performance well below $150 and in some cases, below $50. On a budget under $200, I could easily purchase (for example): - ARTTI T10 - Muse HiFi M4 or DDHifi T35 Pro2 - Aftermarket modular cable of superior quality For this reason, I am suspect to IEM's over $300. There is simply too much choice in the $150 and below segment, today. To each his own...burning cash is a arguably pastime for some.
True, the law of diminishing returns applies to Chi-fi as well. Still, if you look at Andy's ranking, it includes IEMs in all price ranges. Many of the cheaper ones are rated exceptionally high, like Hidizs MP145, Tanchjim Zero, multiple KZ Models... Same applies for dongles, you can get a very similar sound signature at different price points like HiBy FC6 and Questyle M12i.
Hi Andy. As usual, I always appreciate your reviews and recommendations. You mentioned the QTX pairs well with TP50. How does it pair with Onix? Thanks in advance.
Thanks!. Of course, just like TP50, you can expect even better pairing of QTX with ONIX Alpha XI, both of them offering similar sound characteristics, just that Alpha XI offers a bit more resolution and density of sound
Thanks. QTX is tuned to be more neutral than the V curved MP145. Which means MP145 will still be the one that's more engaging and vibrant with Metal music. QTX on the other hand, being a bit more neutral, with just mild Midbass boost, will offer a more relaxed listening experience which I enjoy as well, sometimes you just need that relaxed smoothness which will be very useful for long listening sessions
Can you review CCA Hydro. It's the best sounding and technical KZ/CCA to date and they say it can compete with more higher prices with good coherency and quality drivers. HBB, Paul Wasabii, Akros and Jaytiss have a very positive views on it 🙏
Mmmmm 😋 interesting and yummy IEM. Thanks for sharing. By the way, I have been wanting to ask for sometime(non related to IEM 🤣), how many specs 👓you have?
Objectively yes I do feel QTX offer a bit more refinement in overall sound and wear factor. QTX is much older of course and I have no idea if it is different from the earlier releases
@@donglemadness difficult choices to make. After deciding between Dunu Da Vinci and Tanchjim Origin, I was making up my mind on the Origin for the more natural, mature presentation (i like midcentric, vocal presentation with good instrument separation, timbre, note weight) . And now It's between Origin and QTX..

Lol. I have 3 specs bro

How this qtx compete with hype 4. Its have similar price range. Which one is better in vocal, technical and treble sectors?
I have no idea. I don't have Hype 4 to compare it with
Hey Andy, Elon called. Wanted me to let you know he wants his driver back
😂😂😂
Good review. Seems quite the bargain. I'll get it...for the dongle 😂
Thanks!
hi sir ; Does this rose technics equalize easily?
Hard to tell since I don't use EQ at all, but I think it should work properly with EQ since it scales well with different sources
Surprising that you put this iem above the Tanchjim Origin. Is it a steal for 330 usd? It is actually an older iem release (2022-2023) no?
