- 🌊 Embark on an incredible journey as we build an enormous Noah's Ark on ARK: Survival Ascended! This colossal wooden boat is designed to house 2 of every dinosaur, featuring massive dino pens in the lower deck for Spinos, Quetzals, Triceratops, Stegosaurs, Allosaurs, Yutiranus, Carnotaurus, and more! Inspired by the design from Evan Almighty, the upper deck boasts a vast open space for additional dinosaurs, topped with a giant ark-shaped house extending down the length.

How many structures did this take total? We have a 3500 limit on our server.
Hey! So sorry I missed this comment! So, i've estimated that the structures needed for this is: 4,970 for the exterior only. So you will probably hit way over the cap 😱 - HOWEVER, if you shortern the build, so not go out by I think I go out by 43 in total, maybe go to 25-30 in length, that will help significantly. Or just scale the whole thing down slightly is another easier option!
Heres the main MAT list not including the interior bits and all an estimate:

Wood ceiling 920
Wood triangle ceiling 1200

I'm loving all your builds. I'm learning all sorts of ideas tips and tricks. But when I try and use the slanted roof tiles it tells me I can't there's not a snap point. So not sure if your hitting s specific key to get it to snap or if it's because you are on creative mode in ASE.

So cool you're getting lots of tips and tricks from my videos 😁😆, that's really odd it's not giving you a snap point for the roof 😧, people have built a much shorter version of this on official servers so it is possible. Is it the underside of the boat roof part or the top where the roof isn't snapping?

Dude i have an idea for dino pens. Let them stand on Thatch so it would look like you distribute Thatch for the Dino poop. I think it would give it the "pens" look. But its just an idea
I think thats a great idea! using thatch as the floor for the Dino pens will make it look like they have comfy bedding as well 😁

Hey Jack, that's just because I'm playing in single player, if you're playing on an offical server or a friends server you won't have that option 😆 unless you are playing single player then I have no idea why its not showing for you 😅

@Baymax12712 lmao yeah it's huge!! It's the ARK 🤩, feel free to shorten it if you need to. (If you're playing on official, the structure cap is 5,000, this build exceeds that) if you are, shorten the length of the entire thing by about 14-15 ceiling tiles 🫡

How do you destroy all the resources around you in your builds
Honestly, for this, i spawned in a mammoth and a doedicerous and went around slowly removing it all lol, BUT theres a much easier way, if you do the command "Destroyfoliage 1000 1 1" It will destroy a little area around your character. If you expand then number higher say "Destroyfoliage 20000 1 1" it will then destroy a HUGGEEE area around you, might lag a bit, but eventually you will have destroyed everything around you. Hope this helps :)

If you do it in the shallow waters you'll be okay 😆 when I did a test build I actually did it in shallow water, I'll get you the coordinates later if you like😊 if you're not on an official server you'll definitely be fine anyway 😁😁

No way, did he quit before he finished it? 😭😬, if you're on an official server, he probably didn't finish it because he reached the structure limit 😭 I only found out until a tiny bit later that this build hits the structure limit on official. Un-official is fine though. People who build this on official need to shorten the length of the build by around 10 tiles and they'll be fine (if anyones reading this thinking of doing it :))
