Mason is getting more knowledge than a 8 year college degree no debt and even getting paid to learn . I’m sure he’s very appreciative of what’s Clint’s doing for him.
I worked in industrial maintainence for 35 years. Clint, you remind me of the oldtimers who passed their knowledge to me when I was a novice. Your sons are fortunate you're teaching them the ropes.
I worked at a company that made ultralow freezers. _135C . Someone put a birthday cake in one to rapid chill it. After 30 minutes we had to cut it with a hacksaw.
Mason swinging that hammer like he was John Henry driving in a mile of spikes. Making ice cream with liquid nitrogen, it doesn't get any better than that.
I like how you said "you got it bub" to Mason after pressing that bushing in. I know he's not working for you anymore but you giving credit to the next generation rather than claiming it all for yourself is important. I can feel his pride at getting it done. I can see him moving right on to putting the piece in the vice and finishing the assembly. I don't know how you got to this point Clint but you are a very good mentor/instructor/boss based on what I have seen. Keep it up.
Tell kevin he shouldn't be close to the nitrogen, because as close as he is to the ground. The vapor might turn him into a frozen sausage, and someone might accidentally feed him to the hogs. You may have some serious labor in all that, but darn sure cheaper than replacing that whole assembly. Plus excellent bit of knowledge for all the youngsters you have helping out.
I don't know which part of the show I enjoyed more? The build/rehab or the ice cream?? Best quote of the video "Best $30 dollars I ever spent"! Having fun and laughing is a great way to spend a little time. Thanks for sharing.
Clint it's so great to see you working with your sons, and taking steps to be safe. Just be so careful; your not building a birdhouse for a school project, your working with thousands of pounds of equipment. Love your channel. Russ from Montana
Mason looks like he wants to work ! He carries himself well. I’m retired now, when we looked to team up with younger employees, we always chose the guy with the best body posture who didn’t have his hands in his pockets. Mason seems to fit the bill.
Nitrogen makes the best ice cream! The super-chilled nitrogen freezes the substance so quickly that there's literally no ice crystals in it at all... Smoothest ice cream ever!
Oh the memories that came flooding back, while watching Clint with the O2 lance. Stuck roller bearings to 10" diameter pivot shaft, and 8" main hinge pins on a RoRo ship ramp. Also one time cutting a 30+" hydraulic nut of a paper mill process roller that had been installed wrong, that once lancer to failure was heard for 1/4 mile bang. The welder had to change when it failed.
I suddenly have a craving for C&C Ice Cream! LOVED everybody enjoying themselves like Kevin at Christmas. 🎄 Well deserved after beating out all those pins and bushings.
I am really liking this series. I like all the cutting and pressing and welding. Changing computers and pumps isn't as fun to watch as taking off these major components and line boring them putting in new bushings.
I like it so much that the youngster’s get the chance to learn. Now a day’s they’re often let loose and help yourself! Thank you for the video’s. Greetings from the Netherlands
When this video started I was thinking about all the knowledge you and the shop guys teach these young men and it's fantastic . The ice cream at the end is a hilarious bonus . I hope that wasn't Mrs C&Cs bowl and spoons .... 😂😂
As always, it is a pleasure to watch your videos. It's good to see your boys wanting to learn and how well they are coming along. Thanks for the videos.
Working as a tooling mechanic for 38 years, we used liquid nitro and dry ice all the time. We had the most fun playing like putting a leather glove in it, dropping it on the floor and watching it shatter. Dropping an apple in it and dropping it on concrete and watching it shatter like glass.
Reminds me of the movie "Thief" with James Caan. The good old days and a 5 star movie. In the movie, Caan is a high end thief and is recruited by the mob and in the process has to figure out a way to cut through a huge safe. So, he goes to a foundry and asks the old timer to make him a tool. The owner says "what's this for and he says, I want to make me a whole new door and walk through it!" Back in the eighties no one knew anything about it but it was this on steroids!
You know, Mason has quite a swing on that maul, that young man has some sickem, you don’t see that much anymore. As far as ice cream goes, sanitation is way overrated, 😊😂😂😂 thanks for the update, enjoyed watching, appreciate your videos.
When I would go on jobs with a machinist and he was going to line bore anything I had to weld up the bore and it was 7018 stick, no mig for me, everything in the field was stick! They’re lucky to be able to use the mig! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you need someone to sponsor you a line boring setup.. Why not have Kurtis come over from down under and teach you how to operate the model that he has.. it seems to be pretty amazing!!
You're right Clint! That was fun! My Harbor Freight tools came to the rescue again! Why an impact socket when you have a chrome Harbor Freight socket. 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤣🤣The Ice Cream was great!!!!!!!!!! I laughed and laughed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the fun!!!!!!!!
Yup...no matter what anyone says about Harbor freight tools. I own them. Bought me a tool chest of various tools I've owned over the years. I've only replaced one ratchet after I exceeded the limit and broke it.
I've been watching, and thinking I was doing it wrong all this time, and that maybe liquid N was enough on it's own. I'm yelling "Clint! Cool the inside AND heat the outside! Get another 200 degrees of temp differential and expansion". And at the end it worked!
I must say, the ice cream video clip is the best part of this episode. I just couldn't stop laughing on this with yall. So hilarious.. Other than you using liquid nitrogen in your videos now. I'm loving this more and more Mr. Clint, of C & C Equipment.. I really enjoyed the funnies in this video. Keep the funny ones going please
From Plasma from a Thermal Lance to making Iced Cream with Liquid Nitrogen, this channel teaches us all new things every post! Thank you Guys, I needed that laugh.
Clint our machine shop has an old horizontal 600 ton press that looks it’s out the Stone Age! lol 😂 it has exposed rods and pistons like a old 1800’s locomotive and it operates on air! That thing was hell on wheels, the oldest machinist would always operate it! It even sounded like an old locomotive chugging a I’ve seen it load up on the thick rollers called tires for one of the local pigment plants in Lake Charles! Four of us heating it up with rose buds for a hour and then let it sit for a hour to let the heat soak in! Under 10,000 lbs of pressure the whole time! We would start heating it again and after about another hour it would make a hell of a bang and start moving only a 1/16” at a time! I mean that sucker would bang every maybe 15-20 minutes of heating and the whole process would take 6-8 hours! Two welders and two machinists all day and the hub we were pushing out was about 18 inches! The whole thing weighed a lot because the 20 ton overhead shop crane would pick it up but you could hear it staining! But the 900 ton press was bought years before I ever started there and I worked there for 37 years! I wish I would’ve taken pictures of our machine shop! The longest lathe was 30’ long Clint! I mostly worked in there when they needed a welder to do hot work for them! Thanks for sharing my friends! I like this kind of stuff because it’s some of what I use to do besides working in the fab shop and going out in the field on jobs! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Whilst watching this video it made me think of the days when soil was made into metal - they were the clever ones showing the way to the future of these huge machines. Great video. Now for the ice cream - reminded me of the school days in science class - boys will be boys and just loved it.
Full face shields, neck protection and body aprons are necessary when dispensing liquid nitrogen. Avoid leaning over vapor, can damage lungs and nasal passages.
Super Cool Cookin with Kevin, you guys are a hoot! Kevin's busy scarfin it down and the kids going, "I don't know about this"! For my next trick, put a hot dog in, then drop it....Pieces for all!
Mason is going to be a highly experienced welder. Good Training and on the job experience. My nephew is a master welder for SW Caterpillar. Makes right 95.00 per hr, in state and 175. 00 per hr. Out of state. He brings company welding truck home as a benefit. Kevin practiced getting his toungue stuck to the flag pole in school.
I think I'd have to carry two knives in that shop. One good one, like a Benchmade, maybe, for real cutting jobs, and another cheapo knife for non-knife jobs. Like scraping the top of that cylinder. ;)
Mason is getting more knowledge than a 8 year college degree no debt and even getting paid to learn . I’m sure he’s very appreciative of what’s Clint’s doing for him.
I think the coveralls make a huge statement of how he feels about Clint!!
Too bad he's leaving to become an electrician.
@@dvandkqNothing wrong with being a Electrician, Union pay is great
working for himself, as an electrician, cuts out the union middleman.

Ah, how cold do you like your ice cream? Is this for eat here or carryout?
The video is great but the ice cream experiment was tops. Kevin hit it out of the park. You guys at C&C Equipment are the best
I’ve never heard mason complain once very respectful young man. Great worker taking it all in. Don’t get any better.
Absolutely!
I worked in industrial maintainence for 35 years. Clint, you remind me of the oldtimers who passed their knowledge to me when I was a novice. Your sons are fortunate you're teaching them the ropes.
He is fortunate to have sons who listen, appreciate and practice what their dad taught them! Extremely rare in this day and time.
Clinton, considering Mason’s work ethic, will you always have a place for him after he starts his electrician career? The kid is amazing!
I worked at a company that made ultralow freezers. _135C . Someone put a birthday cake in one to rapid chill it. After 30 minutes we had to cut it with a hacksaw.

Kevin stirring that smoking cauldron reminded me of an episode with Uncle Fester in the Adams Family.🍻
The Board of Health will be stopping in to check on "Kooking with Kevin". That blade is going to be nice and tight!
Tell kevin he shouldn't be close to the nitrogen, because as close as he is to the ground.

It looks like tigers having too much fun blushing over on that ice cream
Mason is a good worker. I love to see young people working with their hands. Is Kevin going to paint the Dresser when all the repairs are complete?
Mason looks like he wants to work ! He carries himself well. I’m retired now, when we looked to team up with younger employees, we always chose the guy with the best body posture who didn’t have his hands in his pockets. Mason seems to fit the bill.

the last 13min was the best it was so funny to see thanks guys
I have never seen a bushing go in like that. Crazy. Great work guys.
If that dozer thing doesn't work out, you and Kevin can set up an ice cream and frozen snack stand in the parking lot.
The only thing that could live through Nitrogen is SPACE COOTIES !!! 😂
You guys are a hoot. Kevin the mad scientist and Clint just agging him on. 😂
The pure brute strength of Mason the Powerful on full display, that pin almost went through the wall and was heading for Derby, Indiana!!
He was giving it all 94lbs of himself for sure 🤣🤣🤣-Kevin

Kevin showed uncharacteristic restraint. Many Arnold lines came to mind as Mr Freeze. 😂
Best part: Not one single thought for what a mess it's going to be . . . when it thaws.
