- By far one of the memorable moments in my skating adventures. This place is PACKED with great Skaters and better yet, great people. I keep coming back for more and never leave disapointed. Enjoy
My life in the late 70's was on quads at the rink every Friday and Saturday. They call for all girl's skate and it was time to hook up the shuffle train with myself in lead! Best times of me life! I told my kids my bucket list #1 was to go to the rink again and THIS YEAR ON MY 57th BIRTHDAY my daughter surprised me with a brand new pair of Impala roller skates and a Saturday afternoon at a awesome rink in Fort Myers, FL. I had the time of my life I shuffled for 3 hours with zero falls!! What an amazing feeling to go back in time after not skating for more than 20 years! Now I lace them up every chance I get! 3 children and 8 grandchildren and getting my shuffle on?? Yeah I'll keep rolling till my wheels wear off or I break a hip lol! Thank you for the amazing footage I felt like I went back in time! If you only knew how much watching these videos gets me up and going to the park in town just to shuffle on the tennis courts haha! 🥰💓

That's awesome!! I'm 51 and just got my kids in the rink.. They are 7 and 5 yo. They love skating and I've been back on wheels after 35 years. My oldest just started the speed team! 🤣
The most amazing part to me is how you film these folks- i been to Semoran during an adult skate and them people are TRUCKIN! I dont know how you stay in front of them with a camera turned and pointed at them! Kudos to you bud, that some quality work!

The most amazing part is he's skating Backwards most of the time and weaving in and out of people!!! He's AMAZING!

I grew up on the late 70's disco vibe,, and spent many nights at the rink.. this is REAL!
I miss skating. I used to as a young teen every weekend. Such a blast!
No one is stopping you from buying a nice pair for 80 U.S. buck and getting out there!
I'm now way to old to start skating again but still have dreams when I used to skate, but I love watching those vids, to me it's the closest thing to flying, hey kids never get old
Your never to old to skate, you just slow down a little. 56 yrs old here.
@@snatcher420 that's the age I was last time I skated, probably because in my life I've broken just about every bone from motorcycles wipeouts, but still riding, and yes I can't afford to break bones again, but thanx for the reply,
I love watching the skaters….so talented. I could barely stand up on skates and I’m so envious! I’m 76 now and had a hip replacement so a fall would probably kill me but I enjoy seeing people who can skate well.
Turns out you can become obsessed with watching something, who knew

@@rollerkingonce there's a few i visit within an hour drive i go to every weekend. All in Pennsylvania. Moon Glo II in Bedford, Penn Skates in State College, and Skate Station in Clearfield.

been watching a lot of rink vids from Korea ,what a different style from US rollers ! in Korea skating backwards is the groove and making trains. those guys are as fast backwards as these people are facing front. all good fun !

I was at this event all the way from Atlanta.
This is now my favorite rink, nobody can compare this to anything unless they have been there. Non stop as fast as you can go for as long as you can and everyone knows to move from the outside lane.👊👊👊😎

I'm skating on a Riedell R3 cosmic but ordered Riedell Quest 395 with Anabolix Reign wheels separately.
I use luigino Q-4 skates with f-16 falcon plate and juke wheels also with bionic bearings.
I'm in love with my Riedell 951's. The sweetest jam skates ever!
I use to go skating every day when I was younger. After watching this video I’m gonna get back into the groove!! Just ordered me some VNLA freestyle pros with some purple Monza wheels!!
Have you worn them out yet? LoL how'd it go? I am thinking about doing the same not sure where to order from ( a trustworthy site) back in the day mine were black, white stripes, had half pink half purple wheels with cheeker board inside wheels & tie dye pink and purple laces . My sister let them get taken with her car when I let her borrow them.

Absolutely fascinating to watch these skater fly around the outside circle. Amazing there are no accidents. Haven given kudos to person doing the filming before, you really have nerves of steel. Wish you could clear the people not on outer circle. Some are holding back, cause too many in front of them.
You bring a good point. Some of the skaters don't belong in some fast skate sessions but they don't realize until it's kinda LATE. LOL

Love the videos King but have a question about the young lady at the forefront of your video here: The wrap on her knee: Anyone know what that is? My wife has knee problems and a wrap like that might be the magic ticket in getting her back on skates again with our family. Oh KT tape rocks for old knees. I am a lifetime skater and my knees have been sore since I was born!! KT tape can give you the support for a 14 hour 5 derby bout as an outside pack ref make it feel like half that time.

So just a friendly reminder: I don't care what level of skater you are, never ever in the remainder of your life skate with your hands in your pockets. You will usually hit the skate floor in less than a second if you take a tumble. So for the beginners out there just getting started think safe, not cool.
